Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

Ok, af due today and I woke up with nada, not even a hint of brown discharge. Temp still high so thought sod it, may as well test. Bfn, test chucked in bin after 15 minutes.
However, this afternoon, had to fish something out of the bin, when the test caught my eye and I noticed another line, very faint. Here's a pic.
I wondered if it's an evap line? Although I thought they were usually grey and this definitely looks more pink (picture is not the best).
I've noticed more brownish discharge over the rest of today, so maybe it's a chemical?

I know you shouldn't read the test after 10 minutes, so slapped hand here.

I can't for one second believe it's because I'm actually pregnant.

I'm gonna have to Poas again aren't I?

Pugmummy87 · 17/03/2016 17:42

Pugmummy87 · 17/03/2016 17:52

I'm cd29 today, 15 dpo, possibly 16dpo.
Not really had any symptoms.

InspectorPenguin · 17/03/2016 18:28

I forgot to say congrats to all the recent BFPs! Blush
I blame my phone as it doesn't log me in automatically like my PC does and I can't remember my password... I wish you all a very happy and uneventful 9 months!

Also, Harriet well done on your 10k - especially what you went through. I usually do lots of exercise but have really let it slip these last few weeks for various reasons. No way could I do one in a halfway decent time right now :(

And Hep I really hope your grumpy cat is okay. I know how awful it is when they get ill so I hope you get some good news. Sounds like he's feeling alright in himself at the moment though which is the main thing.

Pug Fingers crossed for another test in the morning!

5tardusty · 17/03/2016 19:32

Good luck Pug- that looks like a line to me!

iPatches · 17/03/2016 19:32

Hello all. I'm still around. I am bored - AF arrived 8 days ago but I did have cramps for aaaages before that because she was thoughtlessly 5 days late. Anyway she's gone now and so I'm just sitting around waiting to ovulate. So far nothing.

iPatches · 17/03/2016 19:33

Pug - I can sort of see a line but unless it appeared during the wait time (usually about 10 minutes), you can't be sure of anything so better get ready to test again in the morning! How exciting for you!

SuchaJem · 17/03/2016 20:36

Oh hep I hope your kitty cat is okay :( 18 is a really good age, our old family cat Oscar made it happily to 19.

Hello kav that is a promising sign. I'm on cycle three too :) how old are you? It's nice getting positive anecdotes from others like that isn't it

Thanks jam :) I can totally imagine going into work feeling like that or that you must just blurt out IM PREGNANT!!!

stark I'm on cd 23. Keep prodding my boobs today but nothing - they usually are sore by now for AF so maybe that's something to go on. Fx tightly for you not to get AF.

pug eek!! Fx for you tomorrow morning :)

Jamjar12 · 17/03/2016 20:55

Ooh Pug, I think I can see a line maybe?

Jem, that's exactly what it's like! I actually walked into our staff room at one point when it was empty and just said I'm pregnant! To myself, just to get it off my chest lol.

I feel a little bad now as I had talked about trying for a baby with a few friends and one just sent me a really lovely supportive message saying she hopes it happens soon for me etc. I've just had to text back as if I'm waiting- I'm such a bad liar and I hate lying outright :(

Flashinthepan · 17/03/2016 21:38

So the distraction I was looking for came in the form of neighbour potentially cocking up our plans for a loft conversion. So thoroughly fed up of living like sardines in the stupid London bubble where everything costs too much just because DH prefers this one particular office even though we're near none of our friends or family! Sorry for the rant. Really hope you get a super pink line tomorrow pug

SuchaJem · 17/03/2016 21:42

jam bless 😌

flash I feel your pain. Massive London living frustration all round

Flashinthepan · 17/03/2016 21:47

I know how ungrateful it must sound when I have a house round here and I know loads of people who would love to be here but I'd rather not be and its hard to make your peace with the sacrifices for something you didn't choose and would happily give up!

SuchaJem · 17/03/2016 22:01

It's all relative :) x

StarkyTheDirewolf · 17/03/2016 22:26

I have never been to London, I'm one of those northerners! Me and Dh have said we'll go outside of school holiday time

It's overrated! But come see us!

Ni4444 · 17/03/2016 23:14

Hurray Jam! Just saw your news!! Yay for old timers...I'm cycle 6 this month. Meh!! Like most of you I've gone super chilled after the first few cycles until tww I'll opk this weekend as O due Mon or Tues, but must not get too chilled or I'll forget to dtd! 😮 I also need more exercise in my life... Beyond dtd exercise!

Ni4444 · 17/03/2016 23:15

Ps Pug that looks promising...hope you get some clearer news tomorrow fmu! X

Lyssie · 18/03/2016 01:53

Flash
I'll trade your house in London for my 550 sq foot house in Montana, USA.

Evergreen15 · 18/03/2016 07:20

Fx I can't remember you saying about going on a TTC break. Was it to avoid the christmas baby?
Kat! Smile** [waves like a crazy woman] how are you?! I think I will resource to your methods soon, this temping and calendars and so on are not sustainable for the emotionally fragile as myself Confused
Starky of course you have to wait! You have built a reputation for those stars Wink
Pug did you poas this morning?? Line? No line??
I work in London but live outside these days. I hate my commute and how busy it is.

I am not going to work today, my chest is sore and I have a nasty cough Sad I was also doing a couple of extra shifts to bring me extra money but now I can't Sad I am sad and worried about this.

Lyssie I would love Montana I bet Smile

Evergreen15 · 18/03/2016 07:21

AGGGGGHHHHHH stupid phone messing up my bold test againEnvy grumps Angry

Flashinthepan · 18/03/2016 09:39

Morning everyone! Sorry for ranting last night, have slapped myself around with a wet fish. Evergreen what do you do for work (if you want to say). Lyssie I've never been to Montana but it looks beautiful.

HepKestrel · 18/03/2016 10:22

flash no apologies needed!

We are all free to rant here and get it out of our systems!

FXSkip · 18/03/2016 10:56

Morning all, Ever it is sort of to avoid a Christmas baby and sort of because I am really enjoying my life at the moment, we are planning a couple of big trips, I'm considering taking on another exam, we are having work done on the house so I'm just not going to be monitoring anything. I really want a baby to be conceived at a time when we are happy, or not at all, so I am going to work on the happy bit and not worry about the baby bit. That's my plan anyway....

Jam I am so awful at keeping secrets so major kudos to you for saying to empty room!!
