Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

Sucha I posted I here last week that I cried at a Dog's Trust advert, so yes- quite emotional!

RaeSkywalker · 15/03/2016 16:58

Honestly Hep I know how you feel. Ttc is billed as this super fun thing. What they don't tell you is that it's actually incredibly frustrating and soul destroying!!

miwelaisjacydo · 15/03/2016 17:17

Hi ladies how are we all. Am struggling a bit today. DH went to see today for
Blood results. They are worried about his liver function so are running other tests. It sounded like anemia to me from what he said. Next he has lumps on his ball which are fine but are cysts. But this has had an effect on his testosterone levels. Dr said it could effect sperm count

Flashinthepan · 15/03/2016 17:19

FW starts for me today according to Clue. First one and I'm nervous about the 2ww already. I keep swinging between thinking I'll get pregnant this month or never at all so I can only imagine how you feel hep having done the wait and hope bit before What cycle are you on?

HepKestrel · 15/03/2016 17:25

flash just entered cycle6, but to be fair i was super casual cycles 1-3, as I had just come off the pill and was just happy my cycle had settled to be regular. Cycle 4 I was 10 days late, and cycle 5 was the first one i used OPK.

I guess I am honestly thought I would be pg by the summer..... And now it seems a lot closer. silly really.

back to PMA..... each day i am a day closer to a baby (or puppy ) in my arms.

Flashinthepan · 15/03/2016 17:35

Its not silly at all. Ttc requires total relearning of everything, or it did for me. Until recently I thought you could get pregnant all month apart from on your period. How wrong I was! And when you get that baby in your arms this bit will feel like a distant memory. Albeit one with lots of sex hopefully!

HepKestrel · 15/03/2016 17:38

the other good news is that OH is boozing less (and joining me in the trying to do more exercise). His motivation is to lose weight, but I am happy - it can only help! And if not, well we are both healthier Smile

Pugmummy87 · 15/03/2016 18:11

rae continuing with your usual exercise is fine during pregnancy. Just let your instructor for spinning and body pump know you are pregnant so they can make some adjustments. GP is either super cautious or not up to date. Beautiful cross on the clear blue test btw.

Ever glad to hear you had a relaxing time!

I'm 13-14dpo. Cramps continue, been having them on and off for about a week! Temp has yet to dip yet either when it usually does at this stage, been getting quite high temps and it went up again this morning and still getting creamy cm. Trying so hard not to get hopes up (and to not test) as I don't think I could face the disappointment of a bfn this month.

Ni4444 · 15/03/2016 18:16

Miwel you may be disappointed but I think it's great that they have identified things that might have been interfering (so many people can never figure out why it's not working)..now they can help you guys improve things! Have they recommended anything yet?I guess the iron is easy to change, but I'm sure there are things that they can recommend to help with sperm count. I did read last week that acupuncture can help that too. You're on the way to getting answers and solutions-sending lots of love (and PMA! 👍)

RaeSkywalker · 15/03/2016 18:19

Thanks Pug! Back to Body Pump tomorrow then Grin

ElleSarcasmo · 15/03/2016 20:09

Thanks Jem xx surely 5dpo is too early for AF symptoms? Might you be jetlagged? Fx this is your month.

Hep wish my OH was so keen to get healthy. He is really stressed at the moment and is having a beer or 2 (no more usually) after work most days. Actually that doesn't look too bad written down. I am worried it will affect his sperm though Sad

ElleSarcasmo · 15/03/2016 20:29

Forgot to post this yesterday-pretty sunset last night:

SuchaJem · 15/03/2016 21:06

Thanks rae that is reassuring!
elle mood changes this far out from AF are quite normal for me :( I get really bad PMT. Know what you mean re the beers - my DH is terrible for this. It makes me feel controlling to want to curb it but if any little thing is stopping the bfp I want to be able to have the best chance poss. I'm doing nothing though that said - he's had a beer tonight with dinner for no reason 🙄
miw sorry there are problems but it's positive you're both getting help. Hope he gets some answers soon

KatOnATinRo0f · 15/03/2016 21:36

Not exercise for 2 weeks?!? That's not healthy?!?

RaeSkywalker · 15/03/2016 22:06

Thanks Kat that was pretty much my reaction. She also said that she appreciates that exercise is part of my routine, but as the pregnancy is very much wanted I should rest to make sure it "beds in" properly Confused I do wonder if the cramps have something to do with it and she's being overly cautious! Just did some online research and have given DH some articles to read about the benefits so hopefully that will keep him happy.

It only takes 2 weeks to lose your fitness, so I actually think it's riskier to 'rest' and then go back to it. Obviously I'll only do what I feel up to but I'd rather carry on steadily for as long as possible. I think my Fitbit has an alert that goes off when your pulse gets too high, so I will set that up too.

RaeSkywalker · 15/03/2016 22:06

Elle that is gorgeous!

vixarooni · 15/03/2016 22:20

Rae congratulations!!! That is awesome! So pleased for you. Flowers

Lyssie · 16/03/2016 01:24

This is what it's like symptom spotting...

HepKestrel · 16/03/2016 05:36

Lyssie Grin love that!
miw Flowers the test results give you information. You will know where you stand and the best course of action. Knowledge puts you in control more

RaeSkywalker · 16/03/2016 05:57

Thanks vix Grin

Jamjar12 · 16/03/2016 06:32

Love that cartoon! I've literally been obsessed with my boobs for the last week. They've been sore for the past 9 days and I'm 11dpo. It's either a pg symptom or I'm going crazy as if I've only just realised at this point in my life that this is just how it feels to have nipples.

I really want to do a test tomorrow before DH goes away. Otherwise I'm likely to know if it worked this month or not on my own. I'm due AF on Saturday or Sunday, so it's not ridiculously early but it is still to early lol. Just kind of thinking, it might work, it might not- couldn't hurt to try???

IndiX · 16/03/2016 06:49

Hi ladies!
Thought I'd check in and see how are you are all getting on? Congrats to the bfps, amazing news. And I'm sorry to any who that bastard AF has caught, enjoy lots of wine, cake and soft cheese and look after yourselves.

Rae I've just noticed your post about exercise, firstly congratulations!! And secondly I wouldn't agree with your midwife/gp who said to rest. I am now 10 weeks and have exercised throughout (except for at week 8 when I had a small brown bleed but it was nothing to worry about). The last few weeks I have stopped running as my boobs are huge and sore (bouncy enormous breasts not great) but I'm still spinning and doing high intensity cardio sessions and some weights m. Exercise is really important to keep you and baby fit and healthy. It's completely up to you if you want to rest for a bit, obviously I'm not medically trained and I know the first trimester is a bit scary and you want to do everything right. Anyway good luck for the next 9 months and see you on the grads thread!

vixarooni · 16/03/2016 07:06

jam I dunno if it's because I'm generally excited or what, but I'm saying do it. Of course there is a risk of it being neg and the dh is out of town so you have no one to share the low with, but he who dares wins right?

RaeSkywalker · 16/03/2016 07:09

Thanks IndiX, that's great to hear. I'm such a miserable git when I don't exercise! Glad you're getting on well Smile

Cailler · 16/03/2016 07:10

So... I wasn't supposed to test until Friday/ Saturday but we have people coming to stay and we didn't want to find out either way with people in the house so we decided to test this morning and.. BFPs!

I'm v nervous still and trying not getting excited yet after a chemical last month but line is darker than it was on 14dpo last month and I'm only 11dpo today
