Taydex - ooh I'm jealous! I love Adele. Glad you had a nice time.
Definitely - it's only about 5 weeks I think. If I was going through the General hospital near me, I'd be waiting a lot longer. It'll be really good to get it sorted... It's driving me mad already!

Kwick - I have cocodamol, which doesn't take the pain away completely, it just numbs it a bit, like takes the edge off. That'll do for now. Don't want to keep going back to see my GP - pretty sure she's sick of the sight of me by now!
Enjoy your time in Paris. Make sure you keep us updated if and when you can!

Pickle, thank you. I'm hoping the pain eases up and I don't need painkillers, but it looks like it's here to stay for a while!!

Kwick709 · 21/03/2016 07:09

So I am in cab to St Pancras... I was at home crying over the last chapter of the last book in the original Malory Towers series when I realised that I had better shake a leg! Shit I think the cabbie is lost!

I did another test this am... Hoping it lasts for tomorrow!!!!

caution when you run out of coco please go to gp and get something more adequate!!!

Ooh, does that mean it's currently a BFP kwik?! Smile

Kwick709 · 21/03/2016 09:33

Love it. In that case I will just wish you the best of luck. And please do keep us posted on your results. You know, like when you've finally done the test on Tuesday Wink

Kwick709 · 21/03/2016 16:50

My womble hurts.... Hope it is all in my mind...
Fricking Eurostar is delayed... Injections will be very late tonight :(

OP posts:
taydex · 21/03/2016 19:39

Oh Kwik - Hopefully it is all in your mind. Fingers crossed. I really did feel very pre-AF when I got my positive. You're not out till you're out... x

INeedNewShoes · 21/03/2016 20:32

Try not to worry Kwick . We're on high alert and overly sensitive to every little thing our body does. And I know my mind is fully capable of playing tricks.

Best thing to do right now is to take some slow controlled breaths, listen to some music if you can and try to chill out and zone out of the Eurostar situation. A few hours' difference in your meds will not be make or break.

Hang in there Flowers

Kwick709 · 21/03/2016 20:32

Thanks taydex.... Probably not so great that I am dying for loo... But did not want to go on Eurostar!
I am now in a cab on way home Grin
I saw my cousin at the weekend with her two twin girls... Man they do not stop!!!! But all of that does not put me off just makes me more broody!
And if my lovely nephew is anything to go by EVERY stage is great!

Kwick - I will do, thank you! I'm hoping that the pain will go on its own but no luck so far. And to make matters worse I have a huge lump where my thyroid is - I'm not known to have any thyroid issues so not quite sure what it is! My cousin noticed it tonight at my Nan's - it's not painful just doesn't look vey nice.
You've got us all on tenterhooks! I'm dying to know what your tests are saying. Fingers, legs, arms, everything crossed that it's a positive for you - please let us know ASAP tomorrow morn!
I agree with what shoes said. You're oversensitive to everything at the moment. Th not to second guess anything, it'll leave you worrying more Flowers

Shoes, how're you doing with testing? Your OTD is tomorrow too, isn't it? As I said to Kwick - I have everything crossed and let us know as soon as you can tomorrow!

Lots of love ladies. Star

INeedNewShoes · 21/03/2016 21:15

Thanks for the good wishes.

I'm off to bed now. It's easier to go to sleep than to have to listen to the voices inside my head wittering at each other Wink

'Ooh a twinge - maybe it's AF; that cup of tea tastes weird - omg so must be pregnant; ugh bloated - must be AF; you can't possibly need a wee again - ooh must be a sign of pregnancy'

Just a little insight as to what's going on inside my head. Utter chaos!

Kwick709 · 21/03/2016 21:22

What shoes said! Although hate to say this shoes but if we are upduffed... i think the 2ww will be a walk in the park compared to 9 months!

Shoes and Kwick, will be thinking of you both!

TTC through Donor IUI or Donor IVF or just undecided - all welcome!
taydex · 21/03/2016 23:05

Panic not ladies, IMHO the bit after the 2WW is not so bad. Fingers crossed you will all get to see it first hand very soon! Mind you, I'm not that much further ahead - 8.5 weeks here. The 2WW is the worst. After that I felt the bit up until it was confirmed by the clinic (7 weeks for me) was a bit dragging but not in the same way (and you can still keep doing tests in the interim to reassure yourself, and also other clinics might do things differently to mine). I guess the next hardest bit is pretending all is normal at work / to friends until such time as you want to tell people (want's a weird word, I want to shout it from the rooftops, but I know it's not sensible to be doing that right now). I guess that also depends on if you're getting any symptoms. So far, touch wood, my nausea's not been too bad so easy enough to cover up.

Right, bedtime here. Just booked us a cottage in Devon for a week from this Friday. Nothing like doing this last minute (I was actually waiting to see if the other half had to go to Seattle with work, and I'm sticking to that story!). Be nice to get away before I start the new job in 2.5 weeks time.

Night ladies. And best of luck with the tests tomorrow morning. Please let us know how you get on. We're all rooting for you! Flowers

CautionHormone · 22/03/2016 01:04

Kwick - I'll give it this week and see what happens... I'm not having much luck at the minute! A lumpy neck & a two in much ovarian cyst - yay for being healthy!

Good luck to you tomorrow, & to Shoes. Can't wait to hear the result, I'll have everything crossed and as Taydex said - we're all rooting for you! X

CautionHormone · 22/03/2016 01:05

That was meant to say inch, not in much Hmm.

Kwick709 · 22/03/2016 05:22

caution please get yourself off to a Dr pronto!

taydex holiday in Devon sounds amazeballs but you are onoy allowed to go if you have suffcient internet coverage to continue to post on the thread!

So you lovely ladies may ask why kwick is up so early... Do you think it was because she needed to collect FMU and then could not get back to sleep before testing? Could it be perchance that she had actually been testing since Saturday - morning and evening? But that now she is ready to share her photographic evidence with you only she seems to have broken the device her photos are on and so is looking madly for a way to share those photos? Yes, yes, yes!!!

OP posts:
Kwick709 · 22/03/2016 05:26

First three FMUs: saturday, sunday and monday!!!!!

INeedNewShoes · 22/03/2016 06:45

Yay yay yay!

Kwick this is fabulous news Grin

So so pleased for you Smile

I haven't tested yet. Only just woken up and I seem to be putting it off. I'll be back in a bit. Actually thinking of popping out to buy an FRER (shows how obsessive I've been - I've used all of the Internet cheapies I bought). The only test I have left is the one my clinic gave me and it's not an early one. Think I'd rather have an early.

taydex · 22/03/2016 07:20

Yay! Congratulations Kwik, that is amazing news! Welcome to the club. I am so excited for you! Well done you clever little thing! Smile

And yes, the cottage has WIFI Wink

pickle162 · 22/03/2016 07:21

Eeeeeeekkkkkkkkkk kwick I'm so frigging happy for you!!!!!!!!!!SmileGrinStarFlowers

Good luck for today shoes

Xxxxxx

Kwick709 · 22/03/2016 07:54

Thank you shoes, taydex and pickles :)

What are you like shoes???? You must always have FRER to hand - repeat after me! So my advice would be to store FMU, dash to shops, do both tests at same time and then share!!!!

OP posts:
CautionHormone · 22/03/2016 09:21

Kwick - I am so unbelievably over the moon for you!!! They're some decent positives!! All your hard work is finally paying off and I could not be happier! X

CautionHormone · 22/03/2016 09:22

Good luck Shoes. Praying for a positive outcome x
