Hello everyone! Just place marking on the new bus Smile

Huge congratulations to fuzzy - I really hope this is the start of lots of BFPs.

kellz - for what it's worth I got an entire month of 'low' readings on my CB fertility monitor the month I got my BFP although I had high and peak readings in previous months.

magpie - really glad you had a productive gynae appt, hope this is the start of things moving forward for you. Sorry about the cramps. I think basically every medicine says ask advice if you're TTC but it doesn't necessarily mean it's not safe to take.

Keeping huge fingers crossed for lucie, boris and sammy on their exciting IVF journey!

Love and waves to you all xx

Thank you for your support. I had my first lapocosy (sp?) at the beginning of December. I was told I had endo as I came around and then sent home without pain killers!! I haven't had a follow up appointment yet. I was told to wait 3 months.

I'm trying not to get my hopes to high but at the same time DH is the opposite. He keeps talking about how he wants a big family. Sad

Definitely sammy your bfp is well and truly overdue. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Birdboo did they tell you how extensive the endo is? Or what they will do next? After my first lap I was told I had severe endo and would have further keyhole surgery to remove it. You could always see your GP to get some details about the outcome of the lap or phone the consultants sec. Hope you get some info soon.

  • how are you doing?

birdboo · 25/02/2016 18:31

dizzy. I've been told nothing at all. No follow up and my gps view is I should just wait for the appointment Angry. I remember seeing a photo from the lap; the right looked normal the left was a weird blue shade and looked squashed. It did not look anything like the normal tube and the endo was found on the left side.

I was just coming arround from the lap (the room was spinning) when the consultant came. I was completely out of it.

. Hello.

Your GP sounds rubbish. It really annoys me that they could just provide the info they have to hand to reassure but choose not to bother. Hopefully you should have an appointment soon and will then be able to discuss things further.

Bird that's awful, definitely chase it up with a better doctor. I had a laparoscopy about 10 years ago and had a similar experience of a surgeon waving a picture of my uterus at me whilst I was coming round. I didn't have a clue what was happening.

Soda thanks lovely, hope all is well with you!

DizzyM you can be mine and sammy's good luck charm then Wink hopefully our sync'd cycles are a sign of an impending triple bumsnet BFP!

Hi everyone. I'm new to this site but have been on another Forum before. Some friends recommended you all for help and support. DH and I are on month 4 of TTC. AF due middle of next week.
I promised I wouldn't get worked up but I'm reading into everything. Are you guys the same too?
I started using OPK's this month, seemed really good. Any other tips that may help?
Good luck to everyone else TTC x x

Fuzzy! Congratulations!!! What fabulous news (and a great start to the new bus) All the very best for the coming months x

Welcome Bird Sorry that you're going through a hard time with the endo and your GP. Hopefully your appointment comes through very soon.

Hope you're feeling more cheerful today Kellz This TTC lark loses its appeal rather quickly doesn't it (well apart from just wanting a baby!)

Hello to the Bumsnet BFP Triplets! Hope all cramps and gushing is starting to subside (and that you indeed will be lucky charms for each other)

No news from me - CD7 and waiting for ovulation time (which because I don't temp, I don't really know when it is so attempt SMEP). Confusingly, I got ferning on my microscope this morning but god knows what that means. Now to go and try and make appointments for all these tests..

Hello NurseRosie Welcome, welcome, welcome! I hope AF doesn't turn up for you next week. It's hard not to read into everything isn't it? Unfortunately it always backfires for me so since Jan I have been refusing to symptom spot denial but have spent far too much time poking my boobs to see if they are sore or not Smile. Anyway, I hope your time here is very short and you get a BFP next week.

Hello to Lucie and Soda as well - I don't think I've met you but hope all is well Smile

Rosie welcome! This whole TTC thing is enough to drive anyone mad isn't it? Lots of second guessing yourself and worrying. I think different people find different things helpful. I know some people like to try and relax and let nature take it's course, especially the first few months. I'm the opposite, I like to try and apply obsessive science and throw everything at it. I find temping the most helpful and use an app called fertility friend to track my temps and other signs. Best of luck to you, I hope AF stays away next week.

Genghis hopefully the ferning means you're heading towards ovulation. Also hope you manage to get the tests booked in and out of the way soon. SMEP sounds like a good plan!

Happy Friday everyone! I'm continuing to bleed heavily and cramp lots but off for my acupuncture appointment today so hoping that helps.

Waving and huge hugs to all Thanks

Birdboo I just want to give you some hope. I have endo and adhesions that have closed tubes, stuck my bowel and uterus together. I have had 3 laps and 3 hysteroscopies. After the first two laps and hysteroscopies I conceived DS after 2 years of trying and then after just over 2 years of trying and another lap and hyst I am 31 weeks with his little brother. You have to be forceful and ask tons of questions but you can get there, promise.

Hi ladies

Just popping my head in to wish Boris, Lucie and sammy all the best with your ivf cycles. Thinking of you!

There is hope out there for all. My friend has just had a baby after years and years of trying. Her first IVF cycle was successful and she had a great pregnancy. It must be disheartening when you are having problems, but keep the faith girls and good luck from me.

Hoping the bleeding and cramps stop soon Magpie.

Never heard of the term deeming before, I googled it. I'm learning loads with this TTC malarkey. Hopefully ovulation is coming Genghis.

What do you guys think to thus? So, I am currently 6 days from AF due day, I am as regular as clockwork usually. Last night I had the slightest bit of spotting. This morning I feel achy in my abdo, AF like but could also be KFC related, worth it though. Been very headachy and I do get pre headaches anyway. I could feel my nips while laid in bed last night but feel normal now. What do you guys think? Could I be or is it all fast food related (well not the nips, that would be weird)? Am I coming on unusually early? Am I over reading everything? I'll have to stop my brain from being in over drive if I'm not.

Thank you for all the support ladies. I think I will feel better once I know what damage there is. AF has now been awol for 3 days. I just want it to come now. I'm getting the huge endo bloat and ovia is getting really bossy.

Sounds exciting Rosie.

Fingers crossed you're ovulating soon genghis.

Can I jump on too please? TTC#1 since October, after coming off the pill, and think I'm slap bang in the middle of TWW, although I didn't get/missed any sing of ovulation using OPK's....time will tell!

Considering getting a Clear Blue ovulation monitor to use from next cycle - any one used/recommend it?

Report
NurseRosie · 26/02/2016 13:17

Welcome.
I used POS ovulation test this month, not Clear Blue but similar. Worked really well although my DH believes in BMS all month through and doesn't trust the sticks, think that's just his way of conning me into more trying. I think I'm figuring my body out and noticing certain signs of ovulation, anyone else?

How early can you do a nearly response test anyone? 4 days before AF due date?

How are you feeling during this TWW Wildone?

Hi lovelies. Welcome to all you new ladies. I hope your stays here are short!

I have not had a great week. My back started hurting on Sunday night & I have pretty much been in agony all week. I am now on prescription painkillers & muscle relaxants. I never normally take anything during the TWW, but was in such pain I didn't even think. For the first time ever I am hoping that I am not PG this month!
