First time TTC - join me on this journey

Hi all, this is my first time TTC and would be grateful for anyone else who wants to join this journey with me until I get a BFP.

I have been using the Period Diary app to track my ovulation/fertility dates. I have a period that lasts 6 days and usually my cycle is approx 27days. According to the app my ovulation date was yesterday (13th Feb). We have tried twice before this date.

Wondering if there are any others which have had successful pregnancies using solely apps? Or if they have any tips on identifying ovulation?

Would love to share the highs and lows with you lovely people on this journey x

Hi everyone! At a weddin today where everyone is getting pg around me! Finding it harder to be happy for them but at least I can drink at the reception tonight! Lol Just got my period yesterday so another month of unsuccessful trying! My cycle fluctuates between 31 and 36 days it hasn't settled much since I came off the pill but we try to did as much as possible in the middle two weeks of my cycle. Belling I tend to know I'm ovulating because of the whole mucus thing and I've use the app called 'Clue's which is really good at predicting your ovulation days if you track your cycle for a few months . X

And everyone else of course I guess you just have to think that all of us as humans have problems so while it may be upsetting to see another girl preggers you don't know what other problems she has going on in their life, which I'm sure she does! She may look at you and think she's love to be in your situation for whatever reason! Nobody really ever has it all!! How long have you been trying for? So this is redonkulous but I contacted a fertility astrologer and she's writing me a really long report based on my birth data lol!!! It's probably totally BS but I couldn't help myself!! Lol!! Everyone having a good Easter? I'm watching first dates, love it xxx

Thanks Bellini I still cannot believe it. I'm going to do a clear blue test to double check and make sure. Will keep you all posted.

Hey ladies I took a clear blue digital and it came back with this.

This is our 2nd month in trying for our first baby. The first month I was like a mad women constantly symptom spotting and took several pregnancy tests, only to be welcomed by AF. I then promised myself that I was not going to take a preganancy test anymore until the day my af was meant to arrive. That's what I did, today my af was meant to come and I thought it would because I had a slight dull achy pain this morning nothing out of the ordinary. I had no other symptoms at all - nothing, no sickness, no pain, no cramps, no dizziness etc. I was ready to get my af and did not think I'd be pregnant so I even had a few glasses of wine yesterday and last week. This morning I just though I'd try a test and was in utter shock! It's still early days but I'm super excited. I am sending lots of baby dust to you all xx

Hi Bellini nope no implantation bleeding and no implantation pain neither - it just shows that u can be pregnant and have no symptoms at all 😀

Its funny because I was literally just saying to my husband before I read your post Nish that I don't think it has happened this month because I "don't feel pregnant".

I only came off the pill in January so I am still not sure what's going on with my cycles etc. I have been trying so hard not to read too much into things I am feeling etc and your post just confirms that! I still have about another week or so til af is due so I'll just need to be patient!!

Hope you've all had lovely bank holiday weekends! AF FINALLY showed up, (bitch wanted to be involved on my vacation apparently.... Haha!) but I'm actually so glad she's arrived so we can get started again! Right ladies, come on, let's join Nish and get an April BFP!

I would say just relax and try not to read into everything and try not to use google as your tool to understand every symptom the more u look into things the more stress you put on yourself. Just try and put it to the back of your mind and enjoy it and when you least expect it - it happens.

Thank you Blondie for the boost! AF always turns up at the worst times! I've booked for an acupuncture appointment today. After nearly 11 months of ttc I feel like I should do something ! Congrats again Nish ☺

How is everybody? I'm cd28 and Ovia is telling me I can test in 2 days. This is a real test of my will power waiting til then!!

I am 28 and was on the pill for 14years and came of the pill in February this year
I bought clear blue ovulation kit and got a flashing smiley today.
Not good with all the abbreviations yet so bare with me.
Excited but scared about this new journey

Hello!! I'm new to this too so don't worry about abbreviations etc. This is the first thread I have posted on so not too sure of them all myself!

Yeh my first thread also was nervous about posting. But can see the support everyone gives each other and advice.
