BeckiF · 01/07/2004 02:08

CD257, did a pg test to make sure and got a bfn .

Ah well ... finding it hard to be on Mumsnet at the moment with all the good news around and successes I'm not ashamed to say that I am envious.

bluestar · 01/07/2004 19:27

A few days away and 2 more positives - congrats to Misdee and Girly - wishing you both healthy pregnancies.

ermentrude · 01/07/2004 21:37

BFP!!!
will explain my bizarre story later on!!!
1st march!

ermentrude · 01/07/2004 22:44

So here is the story.
Tested last week as I got all my dates mixed up - was only about 4 dpo at the time bt didn't realise! Then I used a different test than I usually do and didn't read it properly...until I did a third test on Monday - the type I normally use - then I realised!!!

Anyway - today I have felt so queasy and have had a really 'flashy' headache. I went to bed for 3 hours this afternoon which is most unlike me. I was exactly the same in my first pregnancy. So I bought a test, read the instructions (LOL) and got a BFP. A faint one as AF is ony due today - but there, nevertheless!!!

Still spotting a bit (have been since about 3dpo) but it is light (only when I wipe...sorry!) and mainly brown and is starting to get lighter.

Will wait until mid week and see how things are. Still early days but off to join March thread.
Again!

gold123 · 01/07/2004 22:50

Congratulations

ermentrude · 01/07/2004 23:00

should read - then I realised the original tests were negative!

miranda2 · 01/07/2004 23:39

lots of babydust around - my friend down the road told me today she is pregnant again(been trying for c.7 months)! Congratulations to those joining the march thread!

Beetlebug · 02/07/2004 00:07

Congrats to you ermentrude I'm so happy for you!

Ladies I need some advice I'm only on CD28 but I couldnt help myself, I had to test. I used clearblue and I got what appeared to be a extremely faint positive. (a positve being a cross and a negative being a horizontal line)

Does this mean I can join the March thread? Has anybody had any experience of clearblue? Has anybody used clearblue and not been 100% sure of the results? Could it just be where the test was so wet that I could see the line underneath?

I know I should test again in 3 days time, I dont wanna get excited only to find that I was seeing things...HELP!

misdee · 02/07/2004 00:10

has clearblue changed then? it used to be just 2lines b4 when i had dd1. but even then when i tested on the day AF was due it was really really faint and i struggled to see it. if you really cant wait 3more daysm try a first respose test, apparently u can test 3days before AF is due and get a result. i tested on the day AF was due and got a really strong pink line.

ermentrude · 02/07/2004 00:48

I just got a faint vertical line on the cross with clear blue - it is definitely a positive!

ShouldKnowByFriday · 02/07/2004 04:32

Congratulations Misdee, Ermentrude and Girly!! Whooppee!!
I am on day 30 today of a 32 day cycle so still waiting!

Girly · 02/07/2004 14:08

Thanks! fingers crossed for you skbf!

Azure · 02/07/2004 20:36

Wow, congratulations Ermentrude, Misdee, Girly and, by the sounds of it, Beetlebug. Seems like the March thread will be busy. Day 11 here, so not much to report.

Rosies - yes, the reflexologist was in Central London and attached to a chiropodist. Hmm, maybe I'll look around for someone cheaper (it was convenient finding somewhere around the corner from my office). What benefits should I be feeling? Apart from enjoying the hour, I have not noticed much (ok, call me impatient).

busybee123 · 02/07/2004 20:40

clear blue do a digital one that is more accurate. reads the words either pregnant or not pregnant, so theres no confusion. i had trouble with the ones that produce the lines, straining to see if there really was a very very faint line there...But they were still positive in the end

Beetlebug · 03/07/2004 01:24

BFP I'm pregnant! Did the second test in the packet and the positive sign came up straight away. I feel a little bit bad cos I've only been on this thread for a couple of weeks and I know some have you have been here for ages , I hope that some of my good luck will rub off onto you. Thanks to everyone that answered my questions about clearblue.

misdee · 03/07/2004 01:32

yay!!!!!

xoz · 03/07/2004 01:55

I might as well join this thread... have been off the pill 2 cycles now... see what happens

rosies · 03/07/2004 02:12

azure,

benefits at this point may not be apparent, you have only had the one go so far! but you maybe needed to go to the loo more frequently. you hopefully slept better, if only that night.

toxins would have been released into the blood stream to be eliminated naturally. the endocrine system would have had a wake up call, as would the whole body. the idea is for everything to harmonise and balance. the immune system starts to get boosted... all this is important for an incoming soul, as my teacher referred to newly conceived babies.

always drink lots of water after a treatment to flush toxins out. i always give my clients a list of possible effects and ask them to make a note so that they can tell me.

you really need 4 - 6 treatments to feel noticeable benefits, less stressed, more able to cope with life and what it has in store. energised but relaxed, sleep patterns should improve, menstrual cycles should normalise and regulate, PMS should be alleviated, backache can be eased, headaches less frequent... etc etc... all good stuff!

hth

best wishes

rosie

smellymelly · 03/07/2004 10:04
