We're on the 4th thread! Oh come all ye symptom spotters! And a fertile new year!

4 week ovulation period and multiple eggs at a time like a hen - if only!!

keep us up to date on Thursday littlebelle and I'll post my result on Friday. seems like there will be a lot of POAS going on at the end of the week!

Oh runner you are such a pro with pissy sticks!! What about it being outside the time frame? Does that make it invalid?

I don't feel pregnant as such (it would be my first bean so I wouldn't know what it feels like) but I don't feel myself!!! Sooooo drained and just can't be arsed to do anything really

Indi how far outside of the time limit are we talking? I think you said you thought you saw something in the time limit then decided you didn't then went back, or am I going mental?

Yeah I saw the squinter within about 10-15mins so slightly outside the time limit and then cracked it open and went mad about an hour later..and then have been checking all day. I'll just have to test in the morning and surely then I'll know once and for all fingers crossed either way before I explode

indi well the only way to know for sure is to test again but I'm putting my money on BFP.

I had squinter a for a couple of days before BFP that were so pale I thought I had lost it and was seeing things. I'd actually decided to buy some different tests when I got my BFP because I was convinced the others were from a bad batch

Don't know if this helps Indi but this is how ridiculously faint my first BFP was. But it was dark enough to make me double check and the second is the FRER I took about 30 mins later.

Also, tests do darken as they dry, so if there was a squinter there to begin with it may have just become increasingly visible as it dried. I photographed that FRER after work as I was too excited in the morning and it was definitely much darker than when it initially developed.

Thanks so much runner you've made me feel a lot better! I'm hoping that i ovulated later than I thought so would only be about 13dpo now. Will let you know in the morning

I had loads of individual replies to people but you girls have been so busy on here by the time I got to the top I forgot everything apart from the egg hanging around in the tube waiting for a sperm and the hen!

Runner how many dpo were you getting your squinter with the ic?

I am not yet out for January either- looks like we have a whole load of tests coming up?! I'm CD19, AF due around 13th. Had positive OPKs 26th-28th and need dtd like a crazy person that whole week. Boobs a bit sore (but wondering if this new phenomenon is what happens when not on the pill?)

Weirdly Ovia says test in 3 days I have no idea why when AF not due for over a week. But I have my ic sticks at the ready (got quite into my OPKs... Missing squinting for lines!)

Ovia can be odd kat I think it advises to test from 12 dpo, or at least mine did, it been banging on at me to test since last Friday and I'm not due af till next Tuesday! The iron will is steadfast though! Not testing till Sunday at the earliest! And that's only if I haven't got major af symptoms. My boobs are stating to get sore though so I'm thinking af may turn up slightly earlier!

Yes stark were all bloody banging on at you!go and do a test PLEASE!! I can't bear the suspense!

Sorry kat and everyone else! I'm basically timing it from the last possible day I could have ovulated rather than the first second lh surge so from those okp's I'm only 7 dpo. I suspect I'm not, but if I was pregnant, nothing would show up anyway yet! You guys will be the first to know though, before Dh, as he will likely be asleep!

Soo just did another test... BFN... still no signs of AF or anything other than what resemble early preg symptoms. Off to doctor this morning as midwife said if I didn't get a positive today to go back...

Eurgh! Why can't we have straight forward answers when we want them 😉😉

Noticed a weird silence as we snuggled into bed last night.
DH eventually said 'so what's going on, down there tonight?'
I said 'not a lot, why?'
DH- 'well, normally you give me an update on the state of things. When's your fertile window?'
Me- 'Almost, few more days I think'
DH- 'No harm in trying tonight though right? Just in case?'

First off, I'm clearly not as casual as I thought I'd been with him, secondly I love that he used the term 'fertile window' lol! Thirdly, is this what our foreplay has been reduced to? And lastly, even if he did just want a quickie, I'm happy that he seems keen to try without me having to pressure him!

Ah bless Jam I bet he was worrying that you'd lost interest in ttc or dtd. They are sensitive souls just wish they'd listen more!

I got a bfn aswell this morning which I half expected, I think yesterday's squinter was just a false positive a me clutching at straws.
Going to wait for AF now and keep healthy and fit and see what happens next month. Good luck to everyone testing soon!
