Well remembered Soda, I had an appointment today!
Firstly before I forget, I managed to get the question about light af in for you, and he said that it isn't really a very good indicator of lining thickness and so when Gps say don't worry, you really shouldn't. He said he's seen people with thin linings have terribly heavy afs and people with optimal linings have very light ones.
We discussed a lot, but the end result is that we are going to have another medicated frozen transfer in the new year. Probably end of jan though as I'm already 2/3dpo here and he didn't think they'd fit us in this short notice.
I voiced my concerns about the drugs making me ill and he said he thinks it was because I was on them for so long. So the plan will be to give me the estrogen pills, but at a higher dose from the outset and not suppress my own cycle so I get some naturally too. He also mentioned an estrogen patch to avoid irritating my stomach.
If that doesn't work then it will be a nhs fresh cycle after that.
In the mean time I'm to try to put on some weight as I'm right on the cusp of not being eligible, plus he said being slim can reduce your endometrium lining so putting on a bit can only help!
Phew, long post. Off to catch up with you lot now... Xx
