Hope it's not too presumptuous but the last thread was nearly full so thought I'd get a new one ready!

Motherhood Challenge: bunch of cunts.

Here's an article that sums it all up.

www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/feb/02/facebook-motherhood-challenge?CMP=fb_gu

Love to you all x x

DizzyNorthernBird · 03/02/2016 19:09

Ha yeah I saw that one too, it actually did make me lol!

loopylou1984 · 03/02/2016 19:13

Eskimo - thank you for that link. Very refreshing! Xx

DizzyNorthernBird · 03/02/2016 19:16

Great article eskimo Star

I really have no idea what possesses half of my FB friends to take part in such shite!

Rainy34 · 03/02/2016 21:13

Ive had the Motherhood Challenge plastered all over my Facebook feed, really got to me, to have it rubbed in your face!!!,

Dizzy As others have said you can't put your life on hold, I have signed up for a couple of 5k races, in May and June, If I do get pregnant then il just walk them,

sammy glad your appointment was good, sounds like you are armed with lots of things to help you along the way, good luck xxx

Nomio23 · 03/02/2016 22:05

That is really good news, Sammy. Let's hope this is the one!

I love that non-motherhood post. I might have to find it & post it!

loopylou1984 · 04/02/2016 07:06

Thanks Rainy and Nomio :). Xx

BorisIsBack · 04/02/2016 14:06

DizzyN I think my DH has entered the ballot for the same race as you...
rainy I'm also signed up for a 5 k and a 10 k in the summer. Plus a skiing holiday in March. I'm trying to provoke the law of Sod. :)

Hope you are all doing ok.

Nomio23 · 04/02/2016 21:38

Let's hope it works, Boris. Smile

I am doing a 5k pretty muddy race in May. I have never done anything like that before, but hopefully it won't kill me!

FuzzyOwl · 04/02/2016 23:47

Hi everyone and hope you are all ok. I hate the motherhood challenge as well - am tempted to upload loads of pictures of my cat!

I have everything crossed for you at the end of the month Lucie. I would love it if you get your BFP!

DizzyNorthernBird · 05/02/2016 06:17

Royal parks boris? Saw the ad on FB and thought, why not! I never get through ballots though, been trying for London marathon the last few years which is virtually impossible!

BorisIsBack · 05/02/2016 07:51

Yeah the RP run, looks amazing. But I still can't imagine if get fit enough to run that far.

BorisIsBack · 05/02/2016 07:51

*I'd

DizzyNorthernBird · 05/02/2016 09:23

You definitely can! You've got plenty of time to train, when I did my first half I was only used to running 2 or 3 times a week and couldn't do 3 miles without getting tired. I picked a conservative 12 week training schedule and managed to finish in a reasonable time. If I can do it, anyone can!

10dpo, bfn this morning. Dunno why I tested really as there's nothing to indicate I'd be in with a chance. No symptoms, chart is unremarkable. Yawn......

MagpieCursedTea · 05/02/2016 10:09

DizzyN sorry for the bfn, POAS is irresistible isn't it? They're just right there, wanting to be pee'd on. No idea how anyone manages to wait until after AF is due.

Nomio those muddy races look like fun! Plenty of time to train before May.

Boris Great plan to invokes Sod's law. I'm very jealous of the skiing holidays people have planned!

Sammy glad the appointment went well. Hopefully the anti nausea meds will help ease the side effects.

Hope everyone else is okay, almost the weekend!
I'm still bleeding heavily, but at least I have my acupuncture session today.

Nomio23 · 05/02/2016 10:48

It could just be too early, Dizzy.

I couldn't sleep last night, so decided to do an IC about 2am. BFN. Obviously!

Nomio23 · 05/02/2016 10:49

Magpie, I am with you on the POAS thing. I start about 7DPO!

FuzzyOwl · 05/02/2016 10:56

Hope your acupuncture goes well today Magpie.

JES12 · 05/02/2016 11:56

Grrrrrr day 16 and still no ovulation!

BorisIsBack · 05/02/2016 12:42

Sorry fit bfn dizzyN. According to FF the average day most women get there BFP is 13.5 dpo. Still early.

DizzyNorthernBird · 05/02/2016 14:18

I know I know, still have no idea what possessed me! Lol

BorisIsBack · 05/02/2016 14:34

Dizzy n - Id have been testing for the last few days too. One month I peed on a stick at 6dpo Blush

Nomio23 · 05/02/2016 15:13

I have done it at 6DPO too. That was before I realised that most babies don't even implant until at least 7DPO!

lucieloos · 05/02/2016 21:43

Thanks fuzzy would be amazing for the NHS to work but I'm not getting my hopes up and already have my final embryo banking round planned in Czech. Hope you're doing well and hi to everyone else Smile

DizzyNorthernBird · 06/02/2016 09:59

11dpo and big temp spike today which is what I always see. It's not my month, I won't bother testing again Sad.

Will start taking soy on weds.
