Hope it's not too presumptuous but the last thread was nearly full so thought I'd get a new one ready!

Nomio - I'm slightly terrified by the idea of ivf - and ivf overseas. I'm struggling a bit with the laid back lack of communication from the Czech Republic clinic. But I'm equally just wanting to go and do it, I'm pinning all my hopes, money and annual leave on this working..... It's exciting, terrifying. Gah!!!!

Rainy sounds like you have a plan in place. Glad you now know what they are offering you. I'm surprised at the risk of miscarriage on a long haul flight. I work in an international environment with loads of pregnant ladies and haven't heard that one before (although we are advised against heading to the Americas at the moment without checking the spread of the Zyka virus).

Dizzy n looks like you timed your DTD perfectly this month - fx for you.

Purdey - thank you lovely lady. X

Sodasoda · 30/01/2016 13:49

Hi everyone!

I haven't forgotten you and I keep popping back and lurking. I haven't posted for a while as I've been having a bit of a scary time with bleeding and spotting. Had to fight a bit for an early scan and we saw a healthy little heartbeat - so relieved and pleased.

magpie - so pleased you've got a referral sorted and you're giving acupuncture a go! Will be interested to hear what you think of it. I'm still going weekly - now for nausea!

dizzyn - I'd agree with FF on the ov date so looks like very good timing - fingers crossed for you.

Sorry about cancer stories, it's such a horrid illness. My mil has a brain tumour - she's been very down recently but we're hoping our news gives her some fighting spirit as she really wants to be around to meet the new arrival.

Keeping fingers crossed for the IVF sessions coming up - so hope you all get your deserved BFPs soon.

Waves and loves to you all xxxx

DizzyMerry · 31/01/2016 12:20

Purdey congratulations on the birth of your gorgeous son. I can't believe 9 months have passed so quickly. Thanks for your words of encouragement.

Rainy fx the clomid results in a bfp. Your holiday sounds fab.

Boris, sammy and nomio I have everything crossed for your IVF journeys.

So pleased all is well soda.

Cd4 here and I've decided to try accupuncture again so my first session is on Tuesday.

MagpieCursedTea · 31/01/2016 13:12

DizzyM good luck with the acupuncture! I have my next session on Friday and I'm really looking forward to it.

Soda sounds like you've had a stressful time, so happy to hear you got to see a healthy little heartbeat! Take care.

DizzyN I agree with FF on your ovulation date. Fx for you!

Purdey congratulations again, Ezra is gorgeous. Hope you're all doing well!

Rainy sounds like a really positive appointment. Hopefully you'll come back refreshed and relaxed from your holiday ready to start the clomid!

Sammy sorry AF got you, I'm very jealous of your skiing holiday though, you're going to have (a very well deserved) amazing time!

I've had some very heavy bleeding and clots the last couple of days. I felt quite sick yesterday and (this sounds a bit weird) the oven being on smelled like it did when I was pregnant with DS. A really unpleasant, overpowering smell that DH doesn't pick up on. I POAS just in case but of course it was negative. Still bleeding heavily today and completely wiped out. I think my already crazy hormones are just going crazier. I'm spending the day on the sofa feeling sorry for myself.

blueberry549 · 31/01/2016 14:47

Sorry to hear you're having a tough time Magpie :( Sending lots of hugs. Really hope they manage to sort you out soon.

I really do sympathise - still lots of random bleeding for me too :(

I have been given Norithisterone by my GP for 2 weeks, so definitely no February bfp for me. His hope is that it will sort the random bleeding out and also kickstart my cycle back into shape again. I can only hope!

But so far it hasn't stopped the bleeding or the cramps, even though I should 'technically' be ovulating my this time in my cycle.

So I'm also on the sofa feeling sorry for myself and trying not to cry!

It was so hard in church this morning when everyone is asking how I am but I don't really feel I can share with them. I just want to be healthy and have a baby and sometimes it all just feels a bit unfair.

I know all of you understand this one xxxx

P.S. lots of hugs for everyone else too

nightandthelight · 31/01/2016 14:52

So frustrating about the lack of treatment Dizzy and I hope the issue with DP's ex and contact gets sorted soon! Flowers

Some exciting IVF plans on here Sammy, Nomio, Boris and Lucie! Hopefully early spring will be bringing a flurry of IVF BFPs!

So glad to hear all OK soda :)

Continuing to keep fingers crossed and wave pom poms for everyone!

Nomio23 · 31/01/2016 18:19

DizzyN, it looks to me like you might have OVd, but I am not sure. I am a bit rubbish at temps to be honest. I thought I would give it a go again this month, but so far mine have stayed pretty much level, so now I am just confused as to whether or not I actually ovulated!

Lucie, good luck with your NHS round. It would be so lovely if you got your long-awaited BFP.

Purdey, congratulations again! He really is gorgeous!

Rainy, I am very jealous of your holiday plans. Vegas sounds amazing! Hopefully you will come back with a special souvenir.

Boris, I think you are feeling what anyone would be in your situation. IVF is such a massive financial and emotional stress, plus you are dealing with the clinic being in another country. I would be terrified! I am so excited for you to start your journey & hopefully get that BFP at long last.

Blueberry, how long have you been taking the Norithisterone? I seem to remember it took a week or two to stop my bleeding. In my case, the bleeding started again as soon as I finished them, but I am just cursed when it comes to medical matters! I have my fingers crossed it will work for you.

Nomio23 · 31/01/2016 18:20

Magpie, I have POAS while on more than once. You are not alone!

woodpigeon123 · 31/01/2016 18:25

Hello lovely ladies,

Exciting to hear about IVF plans...! I think that's our next step after we finish Clomid... I have everything crossed for every one of you!

I'm currently in the 2ww, and loving every minute of it.... Hmm

Chart attached for those that like/know charts!

The Bumsnet Bus: All aboard for destination BFP!
loopylou1984 · 31/01/2016 18:54

Wood, no doubts about whether you ovulated, clear temp rise there!

Dizzy an - I meant to comment on yours the other day... I'm not convinced that FF has got it right, although it's difficult to tell with all those open circles. Is there a big time difference in when you've taken them? Have you got an updated chart?

Nomio - I'm no expert (unlike Dr Purds) but happy to take a look at your chart too if you like? Xx

DizzyNorthernBird · 31/01/2016 19:36

rainy Vegas! Amazing! What a great opportunity to leave all the ttc frustrations behind! Have you got any plans to see one of the shows while you're there?

magpie how strange. Previous pregnancy symptoms sound promising though...how many dpo could you be?

wood loving the sarcasm! Yep deffo ov on that chart!

DizzyNorthernBird · 31/01/2016 19:40

sammy updated chart for you. After today's temp I'm not so sure anymore either Sad.

Solid circles are 6am, open circles are 7am.....I usually guesstimate a 0.1 degrees rise per hour.

Body is throwing me a proper curveball this month.

The Bumsnet Bus: All aboard for destination BFP!
DizzyNorthernBird · 31/01/2016 19:44

Post cross hair they're still above the coverline but I just think most of those temps are just too low to indicate ov has happened. If I don't see a rise tomorrow morning I'll probably disregard that cross hair and go back on knicker watch for fertile cm to reappear!

loopylou1984 · 31/01/2016 19:48

Hmmm, it's possible, but the rise isn't very much (with a few exceptions of lows and highs). If that were my chart I would assume I hadn't ovulated this cycle. Do you have another chart you can compare it to? Xx

loopylou1984 · 31/01/2016 19:49

Cross posts Dizzy! Xx

DizzyNorthernBird · 31/01/2016 20:01

All of my charts look different each month sammy so it's difficult to compare. I don't have any typical pattern as such but I would usually expect to be higher than 36.18 by 5 dpo, it's usually at least 36.40 or above by then!

Sodding crappy ovaries! Angry

DizzyNorthernBird · 31/01/2016 20:04

I've also just remembered that on the day of that big temp drop I had a feeling of pressure in my sinuses and a sore throat, so the following day I did wonder whether the temp rise was due to something else, but as my fertile cm also then dried up I assumed I'd ov'd and that I was seeing a slow rise again.

Nomio23 · 31/01/2016 20:18

This is mine, Sammy. There is no sign of ovulation at all. Sad I often take it after only an hour's sleep though, as I always wake up to wee in the night!

The Bumsnet Bus: All aboard for destination BFP!
loopylou1984 · 31/01/2016 20:24

Yeah, 36.18 doesn't seem like a post ov temp. Sorry Hun, but fx your cycle is normal length and you can put this behind you as an anovulatory cycle.

Hmm, Nomio - you're right, no sign of ov. But it's hard to tell when there's so much disturbed sleep. Xx

Blueberry sorry your still going through it too, hope the medication helps and that you got some relaxing sofa time.

Nomio glad to hear it's just not me. It's not the first time I've done it either. You'd think I'd know better by now but there's always that niggling 'what if?' and I POAS just to rule it out. Luckily I bulk bought cheapies!
Your chart looks like you haven't ovulated yet but fairly steady temps considering some are after you've got up and gone back to bed an hour beforehand. Are you still doing OPKs?

Woodpigeon that's a beautiful chart, with clear ov, fx for you!

DizzyN I doubt I've ovulated to be honest, I keep googling whether it's even possible to ovulate when bleeding continuously. It was just the nausea and weird smell that threw me off. I think it's probably something hormonal going on with the increased bleeding.
Sorry your temps are messing you around, it can be so difficult to interpret especially when you've got wonky cycles. Keep DTD when you can just in case!

Rainy34 · 31/01/2016 20:37

magpie You are having a tough time at the moment , I hope your crazy hormones calm down soon, its horrible the you have signs that make you think you are pregnant,

blueberry yeah i am totally with you, feels so unfair that all we want is a baby and we are being put through it, but hopefully we ill all get our babies soon xx

nomio and dizzy we want to go and see a few shows, there is so many to choose from think we are going to go to the hoover dam, and few things like that

Nomio23 · 31/01/2016 20:44

That sounds amazing, Rainy. Hopefully you will have a lovely, relaxing time,

Sammy/Magpie, I got my positive OPK on CD15. I am wondering if I had an LH surge, but it just wasn't big enough to pop out the egg. That would explain why I haven't had any temp rise. Ah well, hopefully I will get my IVF referral through soon. Then my body had better behave itself!

DizzyN, do you think the stress of DF's visitation battle could have delayed your OV? I know before when I have been stressed, it has knocked my cycle off.

DizzyNorthernBird · 31/01/2016 22:46

nomio before my scan I used to always think I was irregular because of stress but now I just put it down to the cysts!
Could you be ovulating late? Also I thought temps increase as soon as you get up, yours still look pretty low imo. Have you tried limiting your fluid intake during the evening so you don't have to get up for a wee during the night?

rainy I did a tour flight over lake mead and the Hoover dam, it was fantastic but I would have liked to get down into the canyon too! It's years since I've been to Vegas, would love to go again.

DizzyNorthernBird · 01/02/2016 09:08

Temp has shot up this morning to 36.60 which is much better and where I'd expect to see it after ov. However this might also mean I actually ov'd yesterday! Confused Oh well, that's me done for this cycle either way.
