Hope it's not too presumptuous but the last thread was nearly full so thought I'd get a new one ready!

I think you need to upload it somewhere else and then link it? Grin

My stats

No idea when BFP is due because of the never ending bleeding
Taking conception vitamins and vitamin B

Magpie, are you having any investigations for the bleeding? I had the same thing. I literally bled for about two years straight. It was so bad I was even hospitalised at one point. I had a million tests, but no-one was ever able to find a reason behind it. I really hope you get it sorted out soon. X

The lovely EskimoFlo has just sent me the previous version of the spreadsheet, so I am just editing it now. Some people I suspect are not still on here, but will give it a few weeks & see.

FuzzyOwl · 19/01/2016 18:54

Thanks Nomio Smile

Beansprout30 · 19/01/2016 19:40

Looking forward to seeing acupuncture updates! Don't be scared of the needles, you barely feel them! I do think it's something you need to stick with for a couple of months, my acupuncturist predicted 2 months of sessions for me and she was spot on

Can one of you please take a look & let me know if the link has worked ok.

MagpieCursedTea · 19/01/2016 20:50

Nomio that's all working fine. Thanks for updating them. Bleeding for two years sounds hellish! How awful that they never found the reason. Do you have anything you suspected? Did it just stop on it's own? I've had an ultrasound that showed slightly thickened lining and a 2-3cm functional cycst. Apparently nothing to worry about and they couldn't see anything that causes the bleeding. My GP spoke to our local gynaecologist and they both agreed I needed referring to him so they put in the paperwork. The referral was turned down by the private company that check NHS referrals (something I'd never heard of before) as they didn't think it was necessary as my scan didn't show any problems. My GP was very cross about it and has appealed. I'm waiting to find out if the appeal has been successful. It brings out the feminist in me as I'm sure a man wouldn't be left bleeding for months on end and told they don't need to see a specialist Angry
Phew, that was long sorry. It makes me ranty!

boris its always the way when you have a plan your body does things to change it, but great news that you are going for IVF, got my fx for you!!

Diddle i use Ovia and Glow and they are both accurate now, but for the first few months it had to learn my cycles!!

Sammy good luck for IVF for the end of Feb, hopefully the next few weeks go quick for you!!

Nomio looks like the link works, well done!!

Nomio23 · 19/01/2016 21:05

Magpie, I completely agree that if it were a man, they would be treated far more quickly. I can't understand why the specialist would refuse to see you, but it is great that your doctor is on your side & challenging it. I had lots of blood tests, was checked for STDs, had scans & probably some other tests I have forgotten, but never actually got a diagnosis. All they found was that my hormones were going crazy! I was even given the pill for 3 months to try & get me back in a normal cycle, but as soon as I stopped taking them, the bleeding came back. I was given Trenexamic acid, which did stop me bleeding, but as soon as I stopped taking them, it came back again. In the end I lost about 2/3 stones in weight & my cycles went back to being perfectly regular again. I find it hard to believe that was the cause, as there are women twice my size popping out babies, but who knows?!

Rainy, updated your stats. This will be your month. Smile

MagpieCursedTea · 19/01/2016 21:14

The specialist suggested the referral to my GP, it's this private company that looks at them that turned it down. So frustrating. I didn't even know the NHS were using an external company to assess referrals until this happened.
I've heard weight loss can help with hormones and I'm working on shifting a bit. I agree that weight doesn't seem to effect some women's hormones though. I wonder why that is? Well done on losing that though, it's not easy especially when you're feeling hormonal anyway! I was also on medication that can mess with hormones (my previous GP said that's why we struggled to conceive the first time and gave me clomid which is how we conceived DS), I stopped taking the medication 3 weeks ago in the hopes it'll help.

Fingers crossed that things work out for you soon, Magpie.

FuzzyOwl · 19/01/2016 22:29

Thank you for doing the stats Nomio.

I agree as well Magpie and am glad your GP is supportive. I remember when reading up on endometriosis after I was diagnosed that someone said if men suffered from a lot of our gynaecological problems that research would have been done years ago.

DizzyNorthernBird · 20/01/2016 09:13

Morning!

Loving the chart nomio, especially the babies born and upduffed pages! Smile Thanks for resurrecting it!

When you're doing another update, can you change mine?

###cycle 12, bfp due 9th Feb. Investigations completed: pelvic scan showing polycystic ovaries, appt with GP on 28/01/16 to discuss next steps. DP in queue for SA.###

DizzyNorthernBird · 20/01/2016 09:20

Not sure what's going on with me now. Did an opk yesterday and got an almost positive, but my saliva microscope showed virtually no ferning! I know they monitor different hormones, but they should be tallying in with each other....so I've no idea what's happening. Also got sharp pains last night in my right ovary area. Sod's law I thought, when I can't dtd until Friday, but then this morning my temp is still low. Ugh! Hate this! Would be happier if I could be shagging to make sure I'm covered!!!

Hope you're all well x

nightandthelight · 20/01/2016 09:29

Hi Nomio just to let you know that purplecuddlykoala14 has had a baby boy and wotsits has had a baby girl :)

DizzyNorthernBird · 20/01/2016 09:53

That's great news night! Tell them congratulations from bumsnet!

Not long for you now too!

FuzzyOwl · 20/01/2016 14:41

Dizzy is your OPK an IC? I find that ICs give me a positive the day (or afternoon) before Clearblue OPKs do, so maybe it works the same with saliva tests and you will get positives for both tomorrow? Otherwise, I do sometimes get random not-quite positive OPKs during my cycle.

Would you mind updating the chart for me as well Nomio? GinFuzz was a previous MN for me (I took a while finding a new one that I liked after the hacking issue) and under investigations completed: I have endometriosis and have cysts indicating adenomyosis but I was pregnant at the time, so nothing further was done about it. I am going to go back to the doctor how for more investigations.

FuzzyOwl · 20/01/2016 14:42

^so please can you delete GinFuzz from the stats? Thank you.

blueberry549 · 20/01/2016 23:45

Hi all

Sorry for the long gap between posts. thanks for the spreadsheet - I jotted my stats on there - hope I've interpreted everything right!

Been scrolling through and catching up!

Sorry to hear the bleeding continues Magpie you have my sympathies. I had a similar problem last year but definitely not for as long! hugs

AF turned up in full force today so I'm gutted :( That's 14mths TTC with no BFP now. But TBH she's a week earlier than expected which probably means when we were DTD the timing wasn't right anyway! sigh

I use Pink Pad in terms of an app, but it's probably more period tracker than fertility? Not actually sure - will look into fertility friend, ovia and glow now!

Toying with the idea of investing in OPKs seeing as my cycle is so irregular.

Feeling a bit down and still thoroughly frustrated at not hearing about referral - nearly 3mths now! Phoning GP again tomorrow to chase...

Congrats to those who have had both bfps and babies!

DizzyNorthernBird · 21/01/2016 00:37

fuzzy it was an IC. Unfortunately today it was negative and only partial ferning on my microscope so it must have been a false surge. Think I'm in for another long month!

Sorry for af blueberry, feeling your pain about the mis-timing. Story of my life! If you're investing in opks with irregular cycles make sure you get a bulk buy of cheapies from Amazon, you'll need them if you're anything like me! Make sure you do chase up that GP!

Hi everyone,

Here are my stats ###
TTC#1
Cycle 15 (I think!)
Clomid
BFP due 7th Feb
Age 33
Cycle Day 14 currently

Xxxxxx

nightandthelight · 21/01/2016 20:08

Will do Dizzy :) How are you doing? What's the plan with the PCOS? I am so hopeful that now you have a diagnosis a BFP is just round the corner for you!

AmyC86 · 21/01/2016 21:19

Hi all,

We seemed to have slowed down in the way of conversation on here over the last few days.

I've got my updated ultrasound on the 25th January and then my next gyne appointment on the 29th February. It seems to be going at a snails pace!

Do you think that I'll be given provera or similar when I go next to bring on af?

I'm desperate for a bfp, everyone in work who got married around the same time as me have all got pregnant, people ask me every day and it's sour distroying

JES12 · 21/01/2016 22:29

Hi, can I join in the conversations. TTC for nearly 2 years, got my BFP but it was a chemical miscarriage. Wondering if it will ever happen for us........

blueberry549 · 21/01/2016 23:37

Hi JES sorry to hear that :( I really hope it will happen for all of us!

Amy totally feel your pain. Pretty much all my friends have children now and it's so hard to be part of the conversation sometimes.

Found out today that the reason I haven't heard from my referral is because it has been rejected due to my weight. So even though I've now lost almost 4st, I have to lose another 2 before they will help.

I'm gutted :( I knew I probably couldn't get IVF on NHS (if we needed it) before I'd finished losing the weight, but I didn't realise they wouldn't even do any investigations! Feeling very frustrated. But hey, at least the diet is going well!!

Off to GP on Monday to talk about the random bleeding, but not sure what else can be done at this stage unless we go private :S

Like others have said, oh for the benefit of hindsight and TTC earlier! :(
