Haven't been on in a while so going to have a good read through comments now

I'm CD 27...took a test this morning (negative) started spotting just now, but four days before AF due....
Feeling confusedhoping AF not early and that I could still be in the running, but trying to prepare myself that I'll probably be jumping onto next months bus 😿

Thanks for all the info ThePug about the salvia test and if when I don't get my BFP this month, I think I will get one and see how I get on with it.

Do you usually spot hey? If not, it could be implantation bleeding. Leave it a couple of days and then try another test.

Hey Fuzzy👋 No I don't usually spot but just figured the witch was on her way...could it really be implantation? I thought that happens closer to ovulation??? (I'm cd27 and only 4 days from AF due) going off for a Google now!!

Depends when you ovulated hey. Last time I was pregnant I conceived on CD21 (according to my scan although I thought CD20) and I had implantation bleeding on CD30 and 31 with my cycle expected to be 31 days long.

Checking in on CD26, AF due CD32-35. I ran out of OPK's so never officially got a positive. If I OV when I expect then we're probably in with a shot as we DTD EOD from CD9 - CD21

It turns out I must have ovd, on cd18 (4days late) as temp is still high, so that's a plus. However the last time we dtd before that was cd14, so there's even less hope than normal for a bfp! Xx

Anyways Magpie is this your first acupuncture treatment? Are you doing for fertility? (Sorry if I missed this snippet) I've been thinking about acupuncture myself!

Yes it'll be my first appointment. I've got wonky cycles and have been bleeding/spotting since early November. I decided to try acupuncture after a few people on here suggested it. At this point I'll try anything!

I had successfully acupuncture for fertility before and have decided to do so again from next month if I don't get a BFP. I honestly don't know if it made a difference but I did get pregnant twice during the year or so that I had it.

The only time I had implantation bleeding hey it came with cramps and was a proper amount of blood and far more than I would have classed as spotting. Even though it was early and unexpected, it was enough that I went skiing that evening and then had a huge gin. Obviously neither were things I would have done if I hadn't been convinced it was AF.

Hi all, I am back from my self imposed exile on the Isle of Self Pity. I have been really struggling lately & didn’t want to infect anyone else with my misery! I have really missed all you lovely ladies & am desperate to find out how you are all doing. Please forgive me if I ask dumb questions, but I am keen to catch up with you all.

For those of you I don’t know yet, I am 38, and we have been trying for number one for about 4/5 years now. I did get a BFP about 18 months ago, but lost it after a couple of weeks. Since then, I have tried Clomid, but was unsuccessful. We were at the point of being referred for IVF, but then had to move, so have had to go through the whole referral process again. I am currently waiting for an appointment for my repeat HSG & ultrasound. I had a blood test last week & am waiting for my FSH & Oestradiol results (which I am terrified will be too high).

Off to go read back a few pages now & see what you have been up to.

While it is lovely that so many of our former members are now pregnant, or mummies, from a selfish point of view, I really miss them!

DizzyN, I have suspected PCOS. No-one has ever been completely sure, as I seem to have some of the symptoms, but not others. (For example, no cysts). I do know lots of people who have conceived successfully with it though, so please try not to worry too much. Hopefully having a diagnosis might kick start a treatment plan for you.

It's been so strange today Fuzzy. I think I'll do a test in the morning. Spotting seems to have got less and less throughout the day but still have cramps - will keep you all posted! 🤔

Re acupuncture...I'm going to take a look online and get one booked in! Lots of positive reviews for people. Nice opportunity to chill out as well 👍luckily I'm not bothered about the needles ha x

Hey* the advice I was given on here was to look on the Zita West website for an acupuncturist (there wasn't one in my area in the end though). Hopefully you won't need it, good luck with the test!

I'm pretty much of the "will probably pass out if I ever get a BFP" brigade (not in a negative way, still holding it together emotionally... mostly) so no plans to test yet. I'm CD27 now (Monday) so at least a week yet. I won't bother unless AF is delayed past 27th Jan. If I DO get a BFP this cycle my EDD would be DH's bday which is actually what he was hoping for - a Sept baby!

Hi everyone , i have not been on for a while so have a bit of catching up to do,

magpie it would be good to hear how you get on at your acupuncture, i spot a few days before my af comes, i have noticed that taking 100mg vitamin c it has cut the spotting down and last month i spotted for two days instead of 7, it does say online that lack of vitamin c can mess up hormone and progesterone, it may be worth a try
