Spotting didn't arrive last night. My temp has dropped back to where it would usually be around this time. FF must have been right about when I ov'd, which means there's going to be little chance of a bfp this month because my supposed ov day occurs 4 days after we'd dtd. Balls

DizzyM sorry to hear you've been through the mid cycle bleeding as well! Was there any reason given? How long did it last?
Also sorry for AF, hope you're doing okay.

DizzyN still a small chance with 4 days before ov, I understand the annoyance though. At least it's not long until your scan. Best of luck!

My spotting seems to be happening once, every other day at the moment. Still waiting for a positive OPK and a gynaecology appointment.

I've posted my chart again - you're all very lucky!!

So last night and today I've had really quite bad AF cramps (don't usually get them) but no sign of AF so far. If I ovd when I though I did (cd15) then I'm due AF today as I have 14 day LP. However due to my odd temps, FF just confirmed on for me CD'24 which only makes me 6dpo. I was going to POAS tomorrow if AF doesn't show today but I think she will. Any thoughts from anyone are welcome!

Soda (still lurking as I love seeing charts!!) Do you agree with the O date FF has picked? Ovulation may have been delayed due to you being poorly before (the first part of your chart looks really nice, before the temps went crazy!!) Although that doesn't explain the +opk early on. Frustrating!

Positive OPK might be your body gearing up to ovulate but then it didn't because you were poorly?
I think being ill has sent your temps all over the place which makes it difficult to accurately detect ov. All you can do is wait and see (which I know is very hard!). You DTD regularly enough so should have a decent chance whenever you ov'd.

Thanks fly! Good to see you here! I felt fairly confident I'd ovd on cd15 and my temps were mad because I was poorly and lying awake coughing! I don't really get EWCM so I don't go on that. I do get bad back ache around ov but I've had that quite a lot this month - probably sleeping on dodgy mattress at my parents and then the in laws!

If I get AF today then I think it will show I did ov CD15 but other than that I'm not sure. And if I did ov on Cd15 and get AF then I'll be really gutted as our timing was so good.

Thanks magpie. I think also the first part of my chart was at home, second part of chart I was ill and at parents cold house and the last week I've been at the in laws boiling house! All of which could be a factor. The waiting game it is...

Soda if nothing else you guys REALLY deserve to see some positive results this month-you deserve some sort of medal for keeping going on the BDing!!!

I can understand your frustration dizzy but there's still a chance for sperm to have survived for 4 days. Really hope this is your month.

Magpie my scans and smears were all clear so it was just put down to 'one of those things'. Although I think one of them could have been an ovulation bleed as thinking about it it only happened once upon wiping but it did concern me at the time. Have you been taking any herbs? I remember having brown discharge when I was taking agnus castus so I stopped that. I'm actually doing well as I thought I'd have a crash when AF arrived but I haven't. I'm just determined to keep going.

Soda I know nothing about charts but keeping everything crossed that AF stays away.

There's been a lot of furtive DTD this month fly with us being at relatives! But we're both usually quite keen when we're relaxed and not at work. It certainly hasn't felt forced this month which is nice.

So now I've started spotting. Which means both me and FF got it wrong. Spotting always starts on the evening of cd14 then full af the next morning. So on a positive note this means we didn't completely miss the boat, we would have dtd the day before ov. But I'm still not preggo. Feeling slightly less frustrated though because at least it wasn't a wasted cycle.....in my mind it would have been if we were -4 days before ov (i appreciate what you guys say about sperm lasting 4 days but I just don't think DP's lasts that long)

Anyway that'll explain the shit mood I've been in all day!

Sorry rainy. Hope you're wrong. I've had AF pains since yesterday afternoon but no sign of AF for me yet

So I woke up this morning and my temp was up really high and on a whim I took a FRER. Positive!! FF definitely got my ov date wrong! I just can't believe it! I'm utterly thrilled! And also slightly concerned by everything I've been eating and drinking these last couple of weeks

Congratulations soda! maybe all those peaks and lows on your chart was due to your hormones going crazy! Remind us if you've had any symptoms?

No AF for me yet either but my temp has dropped slightly from where it was yesterday so I haven't bothered testing. Maybe the spotting last night was a blip, I used to get two days of spotting a while ago so it's not unusual.

Had a little cry yesterday with DP as I was feeling fed up. I think he's a bit disappointed too as for some reason he seems to think this was our month. Then when the spotting came I felt surprisingly better. I just want af now so I can look forward to the coming month!

Thank you dizzy. I've just had AF pains for the last 24 hours which is quite unusual for me. I've also had quite consistent back ache. My boobs feel heavy but not really sore - quite typical pre-AF for me. Still got AF pains which is worrying - I realise this is very early days so not getting carried away. But I guess DH can cancel his SA appointment this week!

From what I can tell af style cramps seem to be a normal symptom soda so try not to worry. Also, if it were me, I'd still get DP to go to his SA appointment......it is very early days for you and at least then it's done.....

Are you going to get some funny looks when you tell relatives your dates and they work out the baby might've been conceived at their house?

DizzyM you hang on to that determination! I'll try and join you with it! I've not taken any herbs but will possibly try agnus castcus next cycle depending on how the gynaecology appointment goes (when I get the days argh!)

DizzyN how strange about the spotting! I know this is a bit of a cliché response, but spotting and a temp dip could be implantation?
I think it's good to have a little cry sometimes. It's releases the built up tension, TTC is very tough emotionally. Be kind to yourself.

Soda that is AMAZING!!! So so so happy for you!!!! It all paid off I wouldn't worry about the drinking or eating badly, the bean won't be getting nutrients from you yet so it'll be just fine-make sure you're taking you preg vits now, Vit D and folic acid specifically. I also had cramps around implantation and have been having them ever since... I've been told normal so long as their fairly benign and no blood (things starting to grow and shift about) Take it easy, kick back and TRY not to worry (I am worrying about every single thing!!! Hahaha) we'll have to set up a Bumsnetters Grad thread to stay in touch . Have you told DP??
