Thanks Boris and I think that once you start to get proper symptoms, you will get a line as well. I am sure I just have a bug that was combined with a weird AF and, as I am ttc, it sent my symptom spotting into overdrive!

I just had bleeding again after DTD. Bugger, thought it had stopped. Really worried something is wrong

Magpie do you think you could have had a chemical pregnancy? Did you poas at all? Could explain a long bleed?

Go to the doctors if it's worrying you, if only for peace of mind. Xx

Thanks both. I spotted all the way through my last cycle (30 days) then had AF again and spotted for a few days but then it seemed to stop for a day or 2 until after DTD yesterday. I've had a scan which showed a 2-3cm functional cyst and that my lining was a bit thicker than normal, I've been referred to gynaecology and am waiting for an appointment.
I've been googling thickened lining and scaring myself!

magpie my friend has a cyst and she had bleeding like you in and off through out the month , she took the high strength vitamin b complex from Holland and Barrett abd it helped , a few months later once it had settled down she fell pregnant and now has an 8 month old baby , so it can be done

That's good to hear! Vitamin B is something I started taking recently, hoping it helps.

magpie don't appologise for posting. It's what we are here for. Holding your hand until you see the gynae. I have mid cycle bleeding and 2 cysts my gynae isn't worried. It seems to be something they deal with. Tell your gynae that you are taking vit b. X

magpie no need to apologise for anything. You're an incredibly supportive member of this thread and I hope we can support you too. I don't have any knowledge re cysts but it sounds like you should definitely push to get this checked. Perhaps a smear test to cover all bases too?

fuzzy - sorry but I don't have much advice for you I'm afraid. I'd just say that if something isn't normal for you definitely keep an eye on it and perhaps get it checked if it happens next month?

I'm convinced vit b complex is what got me my bfp. I had spotting and short luteal phase.

Trying for number 2 for a few months but been very laid back about it and limited opportunities. Came off the pill in may but cycle didn't return to normal till about August, (was a week late and had loads of symptoms that month before af appeared) September work got in the way at key times
October I got squashed by a horse damaging a few ribs which ensured I was rather delicate for October and November!!!
Finger crossed for Dec af due 8th Jan.
Dd conception wasn't exactly a walk in the park, took 2years! Went through all the normal tests a cycle of clomid, laparoscopy etc. I had given up doing this the natural way, the month I fell preggers I got drunk in the 2ww and rode some lunatic horses no idea how the bean stuck!
So although starting to take ttc seriously as dd would love a sister (not sure if she will be impressed by a brother but we can worry about that if it happens) not going to stop doing what I want to, always thinking about "what if, next month".

Kir glad to hear another positive vit B story. How are you doing?

Soda the sonographer seemed more concerned about the lining than the cyst. Apparently unless it's above 5cm (I think) they don't worry as its a functional cyst that can be caused by ovulation or the body trying and failing to ovulate (which sounds more like my ovaries!)
Hope you're having a nice time at your in laws despite their dodgy internet connection.

Don't apologise magpie. We're all here to support each other and this is a great place to share our worries. I've had mid cycle bleeding a couple of times and my GP wasn't worried but it was checked out with a scan and smear as soda says to clear all bases. You're in the right hands lovely.

Soda I'm fine thanks for asking. AF not here yet but she will be as I have my usual pre AF cramps. Any sign of ov yet?

I fell asleep on the sofa and only woke up when DP changed channels and I heard Ben Ben chiming! I had a long day yesterday, 12 hour shift and I'd been up since 03.30 for work.....happy new year to me!!
DP and I had a lovely dinner at home and then decided to watch fifty shades of grey......what a pile of shit! Almost as bad as the book and at one point I thought DP was going to throw the remote at the telly when Annastaaaaasia bit her lip for the millionth time! Lol

I'm either 12 or 14 dpo today. Had a temp spike this morning but it could be meaningless. If I am 14dpo I should see spotting tonight....if not I'm going to have to sit the weekend out and if no spotting by Monday I'll poas. I'm not too fussed this month as I've got my scan a week on Tuesday. I've had zero symptoms so there's no point in getting my hopes up. Next month is cycle 12.

boris does that mean you've caught DP's man flu then.....yuck. I hope you feel better today

magpie I hope your spotting is slowing down. How miserable. When I had the implant I spotted for the best part of 9 months until I told the GP to take the fucker out. I was spending a fortune on tampax and panty liners!! Feeling your pain, I hope you can get it sorted out soon.
