Hope it's not too presumptuous but the last thread was nearly full so thought I'd get a new one ready!

DizzyN - yeah she knows, she just doesn't think anything of what she's saying. She wouldn't say it to hurt me deliberately. Xx

DizzyNorthernBird · 28/12/2015 09:38

It's a shame she can't be more tactful then sammy.

Kellz92 · 28/12/2015 11:09

Magpie, soda this is my chart. Only day I took temp early was xmas day. Was 630 instead of 700. I got my high on my monitor today which I find odd as last month I went straight from low to peak, which peak was cd14 and 15. I'm cd 14 today so hoping for peak tomorrow.

Feel like I haven't bothered this cycle. My fertile window started on xmas day, only did last night but my hubby has been working long hours and is sleeping early each night, my daughters body clock is all to pot too. And I'm suffering from major heartburn. Probably all the food lol. Xx

I think struggling to conceive is one of those things that people don't understand unless they've been through it. I know a few people who are usually lovely and caring that have made the most insensitive comments to me even though they know the problems we've had.
It's like people have a blind spot for it.
Sorry you've had to deal with it though sammy and for AF too.

DizzyN I'm not sure about the ears, you never know Grin
Hope your run was good!

My AF seems to have stopped but it's gone back to the spotting I had before. So that's AF, 30 odd days of spotting, another 7 days of AF and then back to spotting Sad
I really thought it had stopped as I didn't have any bleeding for ages yesterday but then had some spotting in the evening. I just want the post to start delivering again so I can get my appointment!

Hopefully you'll ov in the next couple of days kellz and you'll see that temp shoot right up. Keep DTD when you can, wake him up if you have to Wink

Thanks girls. I'm only in my second month of temping but am sure I ov'd last month but also pretty sure I didn't in October (37 day cycle) which isn't very good odds. But I guess I'm going to get bloods and ultrasound in January so hopefully if there's something wrong I'll know soon and be able to plan for it.

kellz I'm sure you'll get a temp spike in next couple of days - keep DTD til then!

magpie - sorry for your spotting. And totally agree that people have no idea what it's like to struggle with TTC. None of my friends have had any real issues. My best friend had her first after 3 months of trying, then 'accidentally' got pregnant a second time and had a CP which I recognise must have been tough but then got pregnant the month after and is now due any day. So she tells me she understands because of her CP but I sort of think it's a different thing entirely although it's hard for me to say that to her.

dizzyn I'm like you - DH and I started TTC 6 months before we got married as we didn't want to be under any pressure. Since we got married it's been crazy. I feel like every time I go out people are watching to see if I drink alcohol. At the weekend my parents friends (last saw them at the wedding a few months ago) greeted me with 'are you pregnant yet?' How is that ok?!

sammy - like you say, I'm sure she's not being deliberately insensitive but sometimes people are just thoughtless. I'm sorry AF came - really awful timing for you xx

Sodasoda · 28/12/2015 18:44

Also dizzyn - 8 mile run?! I'm impressed! I've just had my second Christmas dinner today and feel disgusting! Diet starts this time next week!! Fingers crossed the ears are a symptom for you Wink

loopylou1984 · 28/12/2015 22:02

Thanks everyone. MIL would be devastated if she knew she had caused any heart ache, she just doesn't understand.

Dsil is putting pics on fbook every day of dniece, and I'm torn between loving seeing them and crying that they're not my pictures to share.

I just can't wait to get started on another round of IVF... At least then we have a chance. Xx

Kellz92 · 29/12/2015 01:14

Hoping to see a spike so I understand temping for next cycle (if I don't get my bfp)

loopylou1984 · 29/12/2015 11:37

The clinic can't fit us in until the end of February. They're really busy and there's lots of people ahead of us in the queue apparently. Even though the consultant said he'd try to fit us in at the beginning of January. That means we have one shot at a 2016 baby. One. Totally devastated, it's ruined my last day off completely. Xx

MagpieCursedTea · 29/12/2015 11:57

Oh sammy I'm so sorry, that really sucks Sad you do have a shot at a 2016 baby though, it can happen! We'll all be here cheering you on in February Thanks

Kellz hopefully you won't need to do anymore charting after this cycle, but if you do, I'm sure it'll all start to make more sense. Charting is great for taking some of the ambiguity out of TTC.

Soda my diet starts today! I weighed myself this morning and was horrified. Are you doing any specific diet next week or just recovering from the Christmas excesses?

I only had a tiny amount of spotting yesterday. Trying not to jinx my uterus but hoping the never ending bleed might actually be ending. Had post this morning but no appointment yet. Guessing it'll take a while because of the time of year.

Sammy I'm so sorry. That sucks. Xxx

chopsface · 29/12/2015 20:11

Sorry to hear your clinic is busy sammy hugs x x

I hope you guys had good Xmas' and have exciting plans for new year's eve Xmas Smile

DizzyMerry · 29/12/2015 23:42

Sorry I've not posted for a while, just been really busy. Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas.

Sammy sorry you have to wait longer but fx your next round is the one.

It's common to have an anovulatory cycle soda. I've had a couple of them this year but they were before I got my bfp so I would say it's nothing to worry about unless it keeps happening.

AF is due here on Thursday and I'm sure she's on her way as I have my usual pre AF cramps and a bfn today. I've resigned myself to thinking it's never going to happen again and it's softened the blow somewhat but I'll probably be ranting away when AF arrives!

loopylou1984 · 30/12/2015 06:31

Thanks all. X

woodpigeon123 · 30/12/2015 08:22

Hello everyone,

I hope you don't mind me re-joining the bus? I've been away for a few months as it was all getting a bit much.

In that time, the fertility clinic has sent me for a laparoscopy where there found endometriosis, and my ovaries were stuck to my pelvis/bowel.

Since then I've been on Clomid (despite ovulating normally before) and am now on cycle 3 of Clomid, (cycle 15 of ttc)

Hope it's ok to return! Now in the two week wait.... Jaded but hopeful!

Stats:

woodpigeon123, TTC #1, cycle 15, age 33

Kellz92 · 30/12/2015 08:22

Magpie I'm hoping I don't need try for another month, but like preparing myself for the worst. Lol. Not feeling positive this month. But i am enjoying charting.

Sammy that sucks love.

Dizzy fx AF stays away

MagpieCursedTea · 30/12/2015 10:37

Hello woodpigeon! I can't remember if we've 'met'? Sounds like you've had an eventful few months but things are moving in a positive direction. How are you finding the clomid?

DizzyM sorry for the bfn, I know what you mean about feeling it won't happen again. It can be hard to stay positive with bfns and af. Fx that AF doesn't show but feel free to rant away if she does!

I've managed to go a whole 24 hours without any kind of spotting or bleeding. CD12 for me so just OPKing and waiting to see if I ovulate. Still no appointment.

FuzzyOwl · 30/12/2015 12:01

Please can I have some advice or your thoughts - I started what I thought was AF on Christmas Day. I had expected it around that time and had two heavy days, two days of no bleeding and then bled again yesterday. This is really unusual for me, as I usually have four to six consecutive days of bleeding. What is stranger still is that I have spent three consecutive days feeling sick (badly enough to wake me in my sleep or prevent me from sleeping) and feel as if I have a hangover/travel sick. The first day possibly could have been a hangover, although I only had three glasses of wine over twelve hours so it would be surprising, but not the last two days. Do you think it could be pregnancy related? I got a definite BFN this morning and no other symptoms. I am about 15/16 dpo.

MagpieCursedTea · 30/12/2015 12:15

How strange fuzzy, could you be ill, maybe something viral that has affected AF as well?
Did you DTD before the second lot of bleeding? I get that sometimes, I'll think AF is finished then get a bit more after DTD (something to do with the uterus contracting).
I'd have thought if you were getting pregnancy symptoms, there would be enough hcg to show on a test. What kind of test did you use? What time of day? Might be worth trying a FRER with FMU. Hope you get an answer soon!

OP posts:
FuzzyOwl · 30/12/2015 12:27

Maybe Magpie and no, we stopped dtd a couple of days after ovulation. I thought that about symptoms equalling a positive test as well. I used a FRER on Christmas Day and IC today with FMU. Whilst the AF was weird, I have had implantion bleeding before but still accepted AF as AF and not anything more; it is the constant nausea that has made me rethink as the only time in my life I have felt this is when pregnant. How typical for it to probably be a bug instead so I get AF for Christmas and a nausea bug for new year!

woodpigeon123 · 30/12/2015 13:07

Hi Magpie, nice to meet you! I'm finding Clomid ok... Though have found it very hard to get a positive opk since I've been on it.... Even though I never struggled with that before. Weird!
Thank you for asking xx

Rainy34 · 30/12/2015 20:06

Hey everyone not been on here for a few days trying not to get too stressed about ttc but I'm on cd 22 had a little streak of brown through cm when I wipe not much so don't think the clomid has worked ,

BorisIsBack · 30/12/2015 21:14

Fuzzy - how confusing. I'd imagine a test would normally show faint line by now.

Apparently on average women get their first possitive test at 13.5 dpo (according to FF). Random fact of the day which must mean some women get late positives to balance out thoes who get positives at 9 DPO.

woodpigeon welcome back.

rainy sorry you feel that the clomid may not be working. Sucks.

Pixa · 30/12/2015 21:17

Sammy, I am sending you so much love.
