We weren't supposed to start till January! But we did!
Join us as we ttc #1 after pill/contraception etc.

We've got a boat, it makes frequent stops for wine, pissy sticks, wool, slings, cake and all manner of shit we don't need yet but we buy anyway!

Tudor I think most people who ttc feel quite anxious about it first time round. Like Snow I'm in my mid 30s so I don't exactly have forever.

You just need to find a coping strategy to help you get by. I come on her to obsess and pee on sticks at every possible opportunity. I know testing early is pointless but it makes me feel in control and then I stop feeling anxious.
Do try to chill though as allowing yourself to get stressed makes it harder to conceive. Do you have anyone IRL to confide in?

Latest imagined symptom. My boobs feel massive. Like bursting out of my bra massive. I'm sure I'm imagining it though have eaten too much junk food and am getting fat(er)

Runner... I have had the exact same boob issue. Feeling at least half a size up. And my boobs don't change with monthly witch at all (they are v small and almost non existent anyway) so I've thought HUrrah! This must be it... Then I realised I've put on about 10lbs since August (urgh!! Why is good so good?????) so that's probably it :(

Thanks ladies, I've been pregnant multiple times before but they were all miscarriages. I just want a baby in my arms, it's so hard! I think taking a test every day would actually ease the anxiety, I better stock up because I don't have any!

DP is quite submissive and black and white when I confined in him, and I'm fine speaking to you lovely ladies and my amazingly supportive Mum

It's weird, but I've felt slightly less anxious since making the decision, but, I'm only on my first month, we've technically not started yet, so I imagine the stress will set in fairly soon! I'm excited to see if I ovulate, and I'm hoping it's on target and Dh doesn't end up on 12 hour shifts next weekend, because that will really annoy me, I'm going to have to time it right and dtd Thurs, Fri, Saturday we won't have time, and then Sunday, depending on ovulation, probably Monday too! It's going to be exhausting!

My boobs blow up like some kind of juicy tender melons when I'm due on, I'm chesty anyway, but geeeeeez they get sore! I'm lazy and wear sports bra's 24/7 though, I've won a "real" bra twice this year!

This evening I am grazing and watching Netflix. Grazing is helping with my nausea.

Doing some work (such a rock n roll Saturday...don't think I need to worry about a baby cramping my style!!) whilst I watch X factor and stuff myself with chocolate orange... I feel sick now, but it's terry that's to blame not any symptom spotting :-/

Stabbing pains back in my boobs and abdomen...I know it's going to be nothing but my body playing tricks on me but still thinking what if??!!

I made a cake this evening... Then I made mince pies and accidentally put self raising flour in them

Spent the rest of the evening practicing on my piano. Feeling so bloated and balloon like.

Going to do another far too early test tomorrow. At most I'll be 9dpo. But like I said. Testing does seem to keep my crazy in check as it makes me feel in control.

I just want to be ovulaaaaating! Like, tomorrow at about 2 pm! Dh is at work at the moment

I've made red pepper and spinach soup and gluten free chocolate brownies and have been making a little cardigan, I'm wild, me! Oh no runner how did the mince pies turn out?

Would love to see a picture of the mince pies! I baked today too. Biscuits. But I got a bit confused and accidentally started making cake (butter+flour not butter+sugar and didn't realise until I had a sorta pasty crumbly mess. I pushed through though. Taste pretty good. X factor, crocheting Xmas decorations, eating pizza. Diet in January. Who starts a diet in December... Only a crazy person that's who! (Esp as no wine allowed until BFN)

Out for dinner then X factor. Now a nice bit of insomnia even though been shattered all day!

I'm making a Christmas pudding jumper runner if I can figure out the pattern! Hopefully it will be ready for this time next year! And with any luck, ill have a baby to out in it!

kat what are you like! Dh is starting a mini diet in January in preparation for 'THE BIG DIET' in March, he's wanting to enter a body building comp in May, if I'm not preggers I may diet and train with him ha! I'd rather be pregnant

Haha Kat glad I'm not the only one who gets confused. I'm usually so organised when I bake but I'd just finished making a cake so I had both types of flour in front of me.

Had a horrible nightmare last night where I first flooded then burnt down the kitchen. Then I woke up with a really bad back (as if I'd been lifting heavy furniture and pulled something) and had a wave of nausea. Trying not to let my head get too excited with the symptom dance especially as neither of there's imagined symptoms were fun

Runner those pies are hilarious - can I say that?! But I'm sure they taste delicious. Hmm you keep piling these symptoms up, it's sounding really really promising to me! How many says till Ovia says poas?

Hmm, well, I had some more left sided pinching last night - five minutes max. I've woken up feeling very nauseous and a definite pain in my left hip....trying not to get carried away like you as I have suffered from groin pain on the pill. Shouldn't implantation pain be centred though?

Hi Shelb my initial implantation pain was to the left but then I had aches all over that region for a couple of days.

I'm not getting too excited as I have a bit of a cold and feeling a hey and nauseous could just be part of that or the whole cold could be a symptom how irritating not to know.
Ovia says I can test in 5 days but I've been testing daily to prevent myself going mad or possibly because I've already gone mad today's test was unsurprisingly a clear BFN but I expected that.

And yes you can say the pies are hilarious. I laughed when I saw them. They're like some sort of pie/cake crossover... Taste ok with cream though

Was it near your hip/groin area runner?

I'm got another line on an opk I just did.

Morning ladies! Love those cutie pies Runner and I too have a slight pain on my left side, not sure what it is but it's definitely in my uterus.

DP's birthday today so holding out testing again until sometime on Wednesday (when I'll be 14DPO), because sadly I've no tests

Shelb mine was somewhere between my hip and my tummy for all of the aches and pains.

I think nausea this morning was probably cold related.

Runner I feel really rough - very nauseous and still got a line on my opk. I've read that both can indicate an imminent AF and with ovia putting mine at weds I'm braced for it.

Do you still feel sick?

Hi Shelb I'm not feeling too bad now. Nausea has completely gone. My AF isn't due until about 25 if I go by Ovia. I'm on a long cycle of about 30 odd days and I ovulated really early so I don't think mine can be impending AF hope not anyway.

Hope yours doesn't turn out to be AF although if it is at least it will mean that you're now on a natural cycle x

I'm so impatient to be ovulating! And it's a week away by ovia count ! And I've just found out Dh is working ALL this week! Literally! Tonight 6-10, then he'll have to be up at 6 and out 7-7 Mon, Tues, Wed. Then back to nights, Thurs, Fri, Sat! Fri out by 6:30 pm, Saturday out at 4:30 pm! I'm so annoyed! And chances are he'll be working then next Sunday all the way through till Christmas eve! Swear word, swear word, expletives, swear words! He wasn't supposed to be in today OR tomorrow! We have zero food in the house! I'm going to have to do all remaining present shopping online and ask my dad to take me food shopping! Dh will be exhausted!

Ovia has my fertile window starting today, so OH has got his work cut out for the next week. Am going to do another OPK shortly to see what it looks like.
