We've got a boat, it makes frequent stops for wine, pissy sticks, wool, slings, cake and all manner of shit we don't need yet but we buy anyway!

Hi Lan download Ovia. Most of us are addicted to it. It will calculate when you should test for you. Also if you haven't already get some internet cheap (ic) pregnancy tests. Then you can pee on as many sticks as your heart desires... Trust me poas (pee on a stick) is addictive!!!

mor hope you get your appointment before Christmas. Would be so exciting to tell people then.
I'm hoping you're right about my poking pain this morning. My tummy area has been very unsettled and a hey this afternoon so I'm hoping that a good sign, also really bloated and gassy lovely!

Pink I'd do another opk tomorrow just to check otherwise it looks like your spike happened between the two tests. Keep shagging just in case.
From what I read most people have a spike that only lasts a few hours. It's only us weirdos who have spikes that last days (although I read somewhere that you're more likely to have twins if you have a spike that lasts several days gulp I hope that's just a wives tail!)

I have gas, but I'm definitely not pregnant, I'm just gassy as balls, but thats fairly standard for me! I want my okp's to arrive!

Now OH is saying we can't DTD tonight because he feels unwell. So if I peaked OPK wise yesterday, we didn't DTD last night and aren't doing it tonight, I'm going to miss the window. Absolutely gutted. And I can't tell him because I've not told him I'm doing OPKs because he will think I am a crazy mad woman (he wants to just see what happens). Just had a little cry to myself and then got angry that I'm being so ridiculous.

Getting myself confused here. We DTD on Wednesday night and now won't do it again until tommorrow night (assuming OH is better).

If you did it Wednesday then his swimmers will be in position so I wouldn't panic too much

Pink don't panic. What time did you take the fainter one? Had you had a lot to drink beforehand? That use to really affect mine.

Morning everyone! How are all my crazy OPK people's today? (I'm still resisting!)

So. I feel sick. Last night I had a glass of wine. One of my favourites. And I didn't want to drink it because I felt "iffy" then I felt nauseous. I've woken up and I feel sick. Sipping tea is not helping

I'm about 5-7 days past ovulation (no sticks, just the app telling me) see, I'm still totally sane
Obviously I'm absolutely not symptom spotting, oh no not I! It's probably a bug, or being overtired, or something. I do usually feel really sick if I'm very overtired I slept really well

I'm off to Amazon some pee sticks

Good morning! So this morning on CD50(!) I decided to do the last pregnancy test I had.... BFP!! I am freaking out.

No idea how to date this one. I didn't get a positive last weekend so guessing I ovulated randomly at some point. DH doesn't really believe it yet!

Newmrs that's amazing congratulations!!!!! How do you feel? Is it your first cycle off the pill?

Yep first cycle. But it was a weird long one. I'd read this week that sometimes the first cycle is odd, so definitely don't think you are out until AF comes! I tested on CD42 and got a BFN! So no idea how far along I am. Ovia pregnancy is saying 7 weeks because of Last period date! But I think it's probably more like 2 weeks!

I feel fine. A bit nauseous this morning but might be psychological. Felt tired this week but that's pretty normal. I'm really shocked actually. I think I need to POAS x10 to fully believe!

I've poas about 5 days out of my current 8 days of knowing and I hear Mor is still doing so. It takes a while to sink in. It's sinking in a lot more now as we told our parents two nights ago and I now have "pregnant boobs" (which I'm hating). It's easier to believe it when you're body is changing in front of you.

Please may I join in with the driving self crazy symptom spotting??

I came off pill in October, withdrawal bleed 17/10, first cycle was 32 days, now on cd25, have been experiencing cramps, shooting pains, snuffles and insomnia for about a week, so my mind is working overtime with the whole 'am I pregnant?' even though I keep trying to rationally tell myself it's just more pill withdrawal symptoms/my body getting used to hormones again!

I'm not tracking ovulation as we're technically not ttc until the new year but I am using ovia to track cycle length and there have been a few occasions where condoms have gone out of the window around ovia's predicted fertile window, although this is based purely on dates so could be way out!

Please tell me this is madness and to stop obsessing!!

P.s. Congrats to all those who already have their bfps!

Soooo... I did. Pregnancy test this morning and it has a horizontal line running through both windows, any ideas what it means / why? Xx

Mrs - huge congratulations! Have you told OH yet? Were you on the pill beforehand?

Shelb, I did the fainter test at 5.15pm yesterday (in the toilet at work before our Christmas party. I think I am obsessed!). I had had slightly more than usual to drink before a test but not a massive amount. Time wise it was about an hour and a half before I would usually test. I'll do another one later on.

China fingers crossed. The annoying thing about symptoms is that any bloody thing can be one. Here's hoping your BFP is on the way though.

Hi Blue I'm sorry but you won't find anyone on here to tell you to stop obsessing lol.
It does get easier (kind of) the longer your trying but I think it remains a all consuming thing but this having children through and through. You obsess about conceiving, then you obsess about giving birth to a healthy baby, then you obsess about making sure your baby stays healthy then you obsess about... Well you get the just!
We've all put our names down to obsess for the rest of our lives.

So I appear to have a cold this morning. Not sure if that responsible for my symptoms or one of them (it's common to get a cold as a symptom due to your body lowering its immune system so that you don't reject implantation) I still have tender breasts and slightly tender nipples, getting some shooting pains in my left breast the right one is behaving himself and I've still got random cramps every now and then in my pelvic region.
I did a sneaky ic pregnancy test this morning as I now have no idea what dpo I am but I was expecting BFN and that's what I got. I think it's fair to say I'll be doing tests every day now. If you can't beat your obsession you may as well go with it and I have about 30 ic tests to use
