We weren't supposed to start till January! But we did!
Join us as we ttc #1 after pill/contraception etc.

We've got a boat, it makes frequent stops for wine, pissy sticks, wool, slings, cake and all manner of shit we don't need yet but we buy anyway!

Shelb - i'm waiting a bit longer to do one. Aiming for 6.30/7pm to be more in line with the times I tried them earlier in the week. Plus I need to store up 4 hours worth of wee before peeing on the stick I'll let you know what the outcome is.

I feel like I want to DTD again today to make up for the two days we have lost. I know there's all the stuff about giving time to increase sperm supply but I figure lots of sex can't do any harm!

I have joined the gas club today, feel so bloated.

How long outside the time was that taken trace I do see two lines but it's very very pale, it could be evaporation line, hmm, I'm going to Google evap lines now.. (and I'm very sorry for your loss)

Pink thank you, it's really hard when you are waiting for that positive after a stormy long journey of MCs.

Which I'm sure lots of you have experienced, and TTC on its own is emotionally draining enough sometimes

The late luteal phase is the one I hate the most, I love that relaxing feeling of AF just ending and relaxing without anticipation.

Starky two minutes usually, I thought evap lines appeared after at least 5 minutes.. Then again, a line should have at least some colour.

I can also see two lines, but agree with Shelb that it's very faint.

Tudor the line looks grey to me in which case it would be evap. Is that the inner strip from a FRER? If it is then be aware that cracking it open can cause evap lines.

I'm holding off judgement on that particular test trace but I'd definetly do another test first thing in the morning and see what happens then. Fx for you though, I can definitely see two lines, and especially if it was inside the time, but it's so colourless, and you'd expect there to be a little hue of pink!? Tests are confusing! Which brand is it you're using?

I've been doing some reading and evaporation lines are basically a bastard!

Well I'm perplexed. Tonight's OPK is stronger than last night but still lighter than Thursday's and nowhere near as dark as the control line. So I've not had one that is either as dark as the control line or darker, and they are now getting lighter. WTF?!

Ovia days CD 16, 1 day till fertile window, fertile score of 3.5 and 18 days till pregnancy test.

Pink I'm really baffled that they're getting weaker

Is there any possibility you haven't ovulated?

Tudor, Ovia is saying fertile window isn't due to start until tomorrow, so if that's right then I haven't ovulated yet (if I understand it correctly!). I just thought I would test this week to see if OPK's were in line with Ovia, and am not confused by the weakening line!

In that case Pink I wouldn't worry. You'll probably get your positive some point next week

CD 20 here. 7 days until I can test, according to Ovia. AF due on 22 December. Feeling like it's going to be a long wait...

I think Ovia shows your fertile window as starting about five days before you ovulate and lasting for about a day after due to the length of time sperm/eggs can survive so don't panic yet.

I'm seriously thinking TTC is doing something to my Mental Health. I've never been so fixed on something in my life. I didn't even wait for Christmas like I wait to test, it's madness.

The wait is actually quite emotionally draining and dragged out. Am I the only one?

My fertile window starts today til next Thursday. I like how Ovia gives me a score out of 10 with monday through Friday being 7.5 or above. Wish it was a done deal to just dtd when it's 9 or 10/10 and just have it work first time! If we dtd tonight, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday do you think that'll do it? My opk today is starting to get darker and I'm noticing a bit of ewcm so all the signs are there! One app says Monday is my O day another says Wednesday. I'm trying to be relaxed lol but it's hard to do once the big o looms!

Thanks ladies. Maybe the slightly darker line earlier this week was just a blip. It's not a hardship to continue DTD regularly so we'll just keep at it and see what happens!!

Tudor, I'm still in the early stages of TTC but I do think it is emotionally draining. I was saying earlier this week that I feel anxious all the time, and I know it's down to TTC. Is your OH open to TTC discussions so you have someone to share with in real life?

Tudor I'm also feeling weirdly anxious/stressed. I think it's because we know how important it is to succeed and it's a lot of pressure even if you don't do OPKs and all that. I'm afraid my body doesn't work right as I've never been successfully pregnant and I'm in my late 30s. But I've also never really actively tried to get pregnant either so there's some excitement mixed into the anxiety. I'm glad to find this forum though so I can get comfort from reading others who are going through this too.
