We weren't supposed to start till January! But we did!
Join us as we ttc #1 after pill/contraception etc.

We've got a boat, it makes frequent stops for wine, pissy sticks, wool, slings, cake and all manner of shit we don't need yet but we buy anyway!

I still haven't come on, still feel sick and my boobs are killing me! What the heck is my body doing?! I'm not cramping up anymore which is a positive! Ovia is ace! So positive though! I love it!

Starky - when were you due?

Was due on Tuesday. Usually quite bang on time, or a day either way. pink no idea what's going on, putting it down to a phantom period as I had all the symptoms, cramps, spots, achy boobs. I don't usually feel naseaus or have smell/foodavertions but I had a gippy tummy last weekend so maybe I've had a bug and it's knocked my cycle off?

Maybe the bug has knocked things out a bit then. How long have you been off the pill? Could just be things getting back to normal too

Stark I guess you're just going to have to wait and see if AF turns up but if there's no sign by the middle of next week I'd test again just to be sure.

I've fallen foul of the lure of ovulation tests and bought a load of cheap ones. I've got a couple of Superdrug ones so I'm going to start testing on Monday using them then continue with the cheap ones when they arrive. Hopefully I'll be able to pinpoint ovulation this month but I'm also damned well going to jump OH at every occasion feeling very determined to succeed this month!! :-)

Pink - yeah opk and ovia. When I was on my fertile period according to ovia it was quite pink on the opks (I posted on here) but now I'm out of it I had some spotting the past few days then today quite a strong opk but nothing yesterday. But only only on cycle one off the pill so not surprised if it's all wrong

According to Ovia, my fertile window starts today. I'm not sure how accurate it is as have had one cycle of about 35 days and one of about 29 days, and I'm not doing OPK. DH thinks I am crazy because we've had "baby making sex" twice now and ever since the first time my stomach has felt weird and tight. He has been laughing at mu suggestions that I am either pregnant or allergic to his sperm. It's probably all in my head!

Leonie - what kind of weird and tight? Mine has too so it's good to hear you say that! Mine felt like a pulling above my pubic bone, and it is so so bloated where normally it is quite flat (with flab on top).

I've spent the past hour Googling cervical mucas and now my head hurts! I've no idea how quickly its meant to turn from dry to watery to egg white like etc.

I finished AF on Wednesday. Now feel constantly 'wet' (sorry, TMI!) and having had a bit of an explore (oh the shame ) CM feels quite watery. Ovia says my fertile period starts on 12th. So somewhere between now and then, is it meant to turn egg white like?!! I never thought i'd be examining CM in such detail!

Leonie and Shelb - interesting that you are both feeling the same kind of things. I wonder what it means.

AF is due tomorrow... But we shall see, gonna do a test tomorrow, but doubt I'll have a bfp as I wasn't completely sure if/when I was ovulating. I don't think I'll be too upset if it's negative, as I've decided to take a more relaxed approach as I was getting obsessed lol

I'm going to give it a few days, if I'm still not on, then I'll go get some tests and have another go, now that I've used my first and only one I had saved I feel justified buying more I doubt I am this month as we didn't actually track my ovulation, I had a vague idea if when my fertile week was but that was it.

Cervical mucus is confusing! Who'd have known I'd be inspecting my own fanny juice this time last year!? at least we're all doing it!

I know Starky - at times today when I've thought i'm loosing my marbles Googling all sorts of body/baby stuff, I have taken comfort that we are all in it together!!

Thanks China. Two months I guess but it was more a "let's not use contraception and see what happens" approach. I'm still in shock. Had a moment of panic earlier and wondering the weirdest things. When will I start to love "it". We're thinking of booking an early scan at 7 weeks so it'll be a Xmas eve scan eek!

Had a crap night's sleep last night - (tmi) so full of er, wind!!! Couldn't get a comfortable position at all. Bloated and windy. So attractive right now! Only a few more days till the Witch puts me out of my misery.

Pink - don't worry about CM, you'll just notice it a lot more now when you go to the loo! As soon as you get the egg white stuff, then basically jump on your man and tell him surf's up (i.e. ideal conditions for swimmers, or er, surfers. Not to be confused with the crimson tide.)

Ladies if you think the crazy is just in the TTC stage you are wrong.
Got up this morning went for a pee. Then panicked as I hadn't tested it "what if I'm not pregnant anymore, I don't feel sick like yesterday, my boobs aren't as sore". DH laughed at me. I managed to squeeze enough wee out to dip and phew in still preggo. All aboard the crazy train.

Apparently yesterday's queasiness is just nerves as it kicked in again once I saw the 4 lines (ahem, I may have done 2 tests "just to be sure"). DH now purchasing a tonne of cheapy stocks so I don't bankrupt us.

Are you still thinking of an early scan Bunch? I'm sure that will make it all very real!

I am Pink but now thinking it should be after Christmas as the last thing I want is to hear bad news on Christmas Eve. Though I don't want to wait the extra week. It's sensible though.... Isn't it?

Well I've been awake most of the night with what I can only describe as really bad period pains and bloating. Something is up, could be ovulation from what I've extensively read.
