Thought I'd start a November thread for those of us left over from the October thread. (I hope this is ok and I'm not bypassing some sort of forum etiquette).

I got my bfp with dd at 11dpo it was very faint though. I had to break the test apart to see it. These ic tests are just too tempting to pee on!

I think so. It says to wait 10 minutes to confirm a negative result so I went and made DD's packed lunch and then went back. (I washed my hands!) I'm not holding any hope. I'll test again (and again and again) tomorrow!

Hi guys, can I join?
I'm 27 and my DH is 41. We got married in July and I stopped my pill (dianette) 3.5 weeks ago and have decided we want to ttc #1.
Does anyone have any experience with how quickly your cycle returns to normal?
I'm using the ovia app and we coincidentally dtd during my "fertile window" without realising so it's in my mind that I COULD be pg but I know it's unlikely since I haven't had a normal period since coming off the pill.
Any advice or words of wisdom?
I didn't realise how much I want a baby until I started reading these boards and saw how tough the process is for so many couples and I'm now starting to get a bit freaked!

Looking forward to going on the journey with you guys!

Scottish I'm completely in the same boat! Stopped pill 3 weeks ago, no natural period yet. We had unprotected sex a few times but OH has since said he wants to wait till Jan. Still can't help thinking there's a small chance! So no useful information, just a similar situation!

If you could temp to confirm whether you've started ovulating again that would be really helpful. My cycles were crazy after coming off the pill a few years ago! Didn't go back to normal for months.

Loki that looks like a line to me, fx for your test in the morning!

Scottish temping is a great way to get to know your cycle along with charting your fertility signs. Fertility Friend has a great app for tracking everything. Worth having a look! Best of luck.

I'm still not getting any sort of second line on my OPKs, CD14 today so not feeling hopefully for ovulation.

Loki just had a look at your test and it looks positive to me! You're a CD ahead of me aren't you? Fx we both get our BFPs in the next couple of days!

BFN this morning.Sad it must have been an evap. I'm not sure I trust these cheapie tests with them being so near their 'use by' date.

11dpo. AF due Saturday. Feel very emotional so I think that is af starting. wish I'd never tested!

Morning ladies,

Thought I would check in as its been a while !

I'm 10 dpo today, I done a test yesterday that was negative but saw a line after an hour that then vanished. The one I done this morning was negative..... I know its still early days and I'm by no means out yet, its just disheartening to get another negative Sad I've promised myself not to test now until Saturday when AF is due but even as I type I'm not convinced I can hold out to then!

Well, AF is due around now and have just had some spotting when I went to the loo so I'm going to assume it's on its way. Probably not a surprise first month off the pill! DP isn't around much next week which is a pain as I think I ovulate very early in the month, but we'll see.

I was just thinking that at least I could enjoy my spa day properly, but thinking about it, I'm now going to be in the middle of my first post-pill period!
