Nothing new, unless I missed the surge, but I usually get a couple of days positive so think thats unlikely. Suppose I will know if my temp goes up, I'm trying not to worry about it and I've been doing quite well with my Google ban. x

I've just had a thought, if I don't ovulate soon then it is likely to mess up my appointment to have my bloods taken and I can't reschedule them for a few days later as I'm away for meetings. Oh no Sad

Report
mascaraisamust · 27/10/2015 22:57

I would just have the bloods done as you would normally x

Sunshine don't worry. You never know!

Nothing to tell here. CD6 for me

I'm just thinking that if I ovulate late then it'll delay AF so won't be CD 3-5. DH also reminded me he is doing his SA on Friday and it says to leave 2 days without DTD, so today is our last day unless he changes it to next week instead. No temp rise this morning so didn't miss the surge.

Mrsunsure, hope you get on ok today, let us know how it goes x

Hoping it holds out for when you are back with DH mascara.

If I get a positive OPK tomorrow I'm going to ask DH to postpone his SA until next week, but if I get a positive OPK on Fri atleast we can DTD on Sat and still be in with a chance, do you think? If no positive he may as well go ahead with it. Gona try once more tonight for luck x

It's worth a try! The months that people think that they 'haven't ovulated' tend to be the lucky ones on here with surprise bfps!

Exactly! Going by my 'non-ovulation' chart there were 2 days when I think I could have ovulated. One when I had a positive OPK we only DTD that day because DH was ill, and the day I think I more likely conceived we'd DTD 2 days before. So you never know.......

Good like sunshine. I'd postpone SA if you get the surge tomorrow as it could be your month fx!

Thanks ladies, i was really hoping I would be due to test on my birthday, a BFP would just be the best present.

So Sanch, on your lucky 'non-ovulation' month did you not get a clear temp rise? x

Report
Sanch1 · 28/10/2015 15:34

Nope! Fertility friend didnt indicate ovulation but I think there are a couple of days CD22 and CD25 I think that could be it. Just goes to show! i think because my temps we so up and down in the first part of the cycle this might have affected it. I'll try post a pic........

CD22 looks most likely, with a temp rise after, just not a rise in terms of a baseline I guess with the up and down early temps. But I didnt get a +ve OPK until CD24. Random, it was my first month temping as well.

mascaraisamust · 28/10/2015 15:46

Interesting Sanch! I think it was cd25 you ovulated after you had 3 climbing temps! So that would mean you would get a positive cd24. That's my interpretation though Confused

Just spoken to the hospital, they are sending out my cyclogest prescription tomorrow, hurrah! They wouldn't have done unless I hadn't called them as it was sat there waiting to be signed Angry

So,,, if DH brings it with him I may have it in time for this cycle! Fingers crossed!

Woohoo thats exciting Mascara, do you start taking it after ovulation? Are you still going to go back for a second private consulation even though you've got the cyclogest now? x

Report
sunshinegirl12 · 28/10/2015 17:36

Thanks for sharing Sanch, my chart looks a bit rubbish this month and I don't think it helps that I didn't start until late as I just thought I'd try to catch the temp rise. Hmm

Great mascara! Forgive my ignorance but what is that for?
See, I'd say CD22, as there are three temp rises after it, but temp drops after CD24/25? But the +ve OPK on CD24 confuses me!

Report
mascaraisamust · 28/10/2015 18:39

Cd22 is probably where you had higher fertility but I think cd24 is when you ovulated as it spikes and drops down. Your pregnant though, woohoo! Good to see charts to compare to -even though i try and chart I never get past three days in a row-

Cyclogest is progesterone, it was prescribed if I get my bfp this month to help sustain the pregnancy by the nhs. However, the private consultant is suggesting he prescribes it from ovulation to help implant, so I want to preferably take it this month after ovulation and see what happens (it worked for Mrs)!

The private consultant doesn't know they have prescribed cyclogest yet. Got my private appointment first week in November, if I don't my BFP first (purposely booked the appointment a couple of days before AF).

Hope Mrs is ok...x

Oh no how confusing for you. I've not experienced this but if you're not sure of dates/ovulation then it could just very well be too early. I hope Friday is a little more conclusive xx

Oh Mrsunsure, how horrible for you not to know for definite either way, i'm really hoping for you that it is just too early, try to stay positive although i know it is far easier said than done. Hope your ok xxxx
