Mrsunsure, fingers tightly crossed for you on Friday, I can't imagine how worried you must be. Are they doing another scan on Friday to see if it's progressed? xxx

mascaraisamust · 28/10/2015 21:48

Oh Mrs, I have everything crossed for you. xx

Sunshinegirl2015 · 28/10/2015 22:00

Mrs thinking of you. I hope everything turns out to be ok on Friday xx

mascaraisamust · 28/10/2015 23:44

Tonight I've met my best friend who I told about the mc. I've not seen her in person since. It's been such a relief to chat to her tonight about everything.

Flashing smiley, phew! The line Is quite dark to the control now though so I don't think the peak will be too far away but I'm not testing again until tomorrow now.

Mrs hope you're ok this morning x

Mrssunsure I hope everything works out for you - the exact same thing has happened to quite a few of the girls in the June antenatal thread and it's been a good outcome for all of them so I have high hopes!

Sickness had absolutely slammed me the last 2 days. Cannot keep food down at all. Am surviving on Pepsi max :(

mascaraisamust · 29/10/2015 08:48

Pepsi Max hasn't even got sugar in Mrs! Great sign that you have symptoms though! Hope you feel better soon x

No I know, it's the caffeine!

Sanch1 · 29/10/2015 11:02

Oh no Mrs! That's rubbish. I've been feeling pretty sick too this week. Ran into work this morning, was not a pleasant experience while feeling sick. Am trying to keep going with the running though so I won't let the sickness beat me yet!

Good news that you may get a static tomorrow mascara! When you say the line is pretty dark are you doing cheapies as well as the clearblue ones? Nice that you can talk things through with a friend, I caved and told one of mine we were TTC because I needed to get stuff out!

mascaraisamust · 29/10/2015 11:27

Sanch, total respect for you running into work! No it's the CB one but when you pull it out you can see the two lines x

Hi ladies, I hope you are all okay! I've been lurking & keeping an eye on you all! Mrsunsure I really hope it works out for you, I'll be thinking of you on Friday xx

It's CD50 for me & 8dpo. I saw the GP who sent me for bloods back in September earlier in the week. He was great, repeated the bloods as it was 6/7dpo when I went for my appointment which was lucky but genuinely a coincidence! He said he was going to have a chat to a gynecologist about me & see if I should be referred (ttc since January) or if I should be waiting it out a bit longer. He rang me this morning to say that he's going to refer me to a gynecologist straight away I'm the hope that they prescribe me something to regulate my ovulation, most likely clomid. I'm really shocked but very grateful not to be fobbed off. It's such a shame more GPs aren't like him!

mascaraisamust · 29/10/2015 19:32

Brilliant Shary! So glad you have someone who is keen to help you! Fingers crossed the appoinment isn't too far away for you. I'm starting Clomid next cycle if this month doesn't work out but with the cost Sad x

OP posts:
SharyBobbins · 29/10/2015 19:50

Thanks Mascara fingers crossed you won't need clomid because you'll have your BFP! Will you be taking clomid alongside cyclogest?

mascaraisamust · 29/10/2015 19:58

Yes hopefully both, got my appointment at the start of November. Terrified of the cost before xmas though and how much more we can afford!

mascaraisamust · 29/10/2015 20:00

And you poor thing, cd50. That's such a long wait! That must be exhausting Sad

It's been so frustrating Mascara! Thought I was having an anovulatory cycle this time round as my cycles have been 43 days pretty much every time, then on day 40 I got a positive opk! So who knows how long in total this one will be. In a strange way it's probably done me a favour as the GP was quite shocked hence running the bloods again/ making the referal. Hopefully the bloods will confirm ovulation but I got a temperature rise as well so in pretty sure I did ovulate.

I don't want to Google clomid yet because there is always a chance the gynecologist won't prescribe it- are you able to tell me a bit about it? I'm sorry you're having to pay for it, it's utterly ridiculous that I might be getting support from the NHS and you've had to go private Blush

mascaraisamust · 29/10/2015 20:44

It's because I got a bfp, I go back to the start of the process Hmm They are giving me progesterone on prescription on be nhs though but thats meant to be 'just in case' I get a BFP apparently, so I'm guessing they won't be prescribing much of it as the nurse said to take (if) I get a positive whereas the private consultant wants me to take if after ovulation to help if I do implant and to try extend the LP.

Clomid, the private consultant said to me that it stimulates the ovaries to produce a stronger egg, usually earlier in the cycle. This can also improve the level of progesterone as a result, hence why he wants to try it. I haven't really looked into it either, the only side effect he mentioned was the small chance of multiple pregnancies due to over stimulation. However it says I'll be on a low dosage to start with x

OP posts:
SharyBobbins · 29/10/2015 20:53

Thanks Mascara, I imagine I'd be on a low dose too. I did see somewhere on a different thread that it can cause hot flushes. The lady who posted said she takes it at night so they're not noticeable in work Halloween Hmm Hopefully neither of us will have to take it!

SharyBobbins · 29/10/2015 20:54

Fx for BFPs before then!

mascaraisamust · 29/10/2015 20:57

Yes I also read people saying they take it at night too. Fingers crossed Shary!

Mascara I have literally a mountain of cyclogest here, far more than I need as my 2nd prescription was for 12 weeks worth instead of enough until I was 12 weeks.

I can send you some of the spare? If it helps you I would be utterly ecstatic!

mascaraisamust · 30/10/2015 09:16

Static smiley Grin Bang on schedule! Let's hope it hangs on until this evening. My prescription hasn't arrived yet according to DH so it'll probably be by second class post. I'll see how much they've given me when it comes xx

OP posts:
mascaraisamust · 30/10/2015 09:17

Mrs I don't need to start taking until after ovulation right? So I'll be ok to start Monday? X

OP posts:
mrsmugoo · 30/10/2015 11:14

I was told to start taking 3 days after static smiley for 14 days then test.
