Good luck for your appointment today mascara!

I feel a LOT better today. Don't feel nauseous at all (maybe a tiny bit?) and I've got an appetite. Hoping I'm out of the worst now!

flymo79 · 09/11/2015 11:51

just been on folic, vit c and b-vits post-ov, sunshine, but this month seriously considering taking soy isoflavones... is that risky? i feel like I'm maybe not having a strong enough ovulation/progesterone (total self-diagnosis! baddy!)

mrsmugoo · 09/11/2015 12:37

I tried soy iso once and it gave me weird cycle so I never tried it again! I ovulated a day or two early but my LP was the shortest ever at 6 days and shortest ever total cycle at 24 days and stupidly heavy period that month. I would actually say be very cautious using it!

Sunshinegirl2015 · 09/11/2015 13:22

How was appointment Mascara?

Good luck with day two bloods sunshine - take it that's tomorrow?

Got my peak on OPK this morning and DH has arrived home so we've DTD! It's CD18 for me so reckon I'll ovulate today :)

I'm not sure about soy isoflavones - lots of good and bad stories online.

My GP always recommends pregnacare sunshine but this cycle I've taken seven seas folic acid with vitamin b complex just to try something different.

mascaraisamust · 09/11/2015 18:08

Hi all,

Had an internal scan, didn't realise that was happening today but all was good. 8.2mm endometrium, they want 8 preferably mid cycle but they weren't concerned and ovaries looked fine, few follicles but no cysts etc. Letter gone to DH gp so he can have sperm analysis done.

No prescription today though, he wants the SA results back and then I just need to call up once results have been faxed through and he will write the prescription with no cost.

Prescribing letrozole though (femara)?? Never heard of this? Instead of clomid?

Sunshine glad you're taking a positive attitude.

No AF as of yet and no cramps in the day.

If we are all doing an update on what we are trying: just folic, d3, progesterone and I used preseed.

No I think you're right Mrs, I've cut down on soy products too.

mascaraisamust · 09/11/2015 19:41

How bizarre, ovia just popped up saying 'a moderate amount of soy is healthy, consuming too much can effect your ability to get pregnant'

Mascara, sounds like ur appointment went well, fx for testing at the weekend.

Mrsunsure, thats interesting, what else did you cut out / increase for progesterone? I'm having one final push for the next 2 cycles to get this BFP before xmas (according to FF if the next cycle isn't successful, the next AF would be due xmas day) x

mascaraisamust · 09/11/2015 20:18

Sunshine that's the same for me, xmas day/boxing day etc.

OP posts:
sunshinegirl12 · 09/11/2015 20:26

Fx we get the best christmas present possible x

mascaraisamust · 09/11/2015 20:34

sunshinegirl12 · 09/11/2015 20:51

Mascara, did he say how long you have to wait before you get SA results? We were told 2-3 weeks but not sure if will get a letter or have to call up.

SharyBobbins · 09/11/2015 21:01

Glad your appointment went okay Mascara Smile My OH has been in touch with his GP about a SA too, he needs to ring the hospital now to arrange what day he can drop it off. He's been told he needs to..err...deposit his sample & get it to the hospital within an hour!!

OMG mascara I'm over the moon for you!!! I'm actually welling up (I'm so hormonal at the moment lol!)

Bloody hell thats two first time cyclogest BFPs!!

I do have so much left over so holler if you'd like to take it off me so you can carry on til 12 weeks xx

Sanch1 · 10/11/2015 09:32

Wow! Great news! I had a funny feeling about you this month......don't know why just did!

I got a 1-2 on a digi at what I think is 11dpo so it's possible. Makes things seem longer though when you know so early! I'll be praying that this one is a sticky for you xx

Sunshinegirl2015 · 10/11/2015 09:44

Oh wow mascara! So happy and a teensy bit jealous haha! Really hope this one sticks.

mrsunsure I've been trying to cut things out and have been having coconut oil. Think it's helped my LP extend.

1DPO today although not confirmed by FF yet I'm pretty sure I ovulated yesterday.

Sanch I felt the same. I was talking to DH about you yesterday Mascara and saying I felt this was your month!

sunshinegirl12 · 10/11/2015 10:03

Such exciting news Mascara, how you feeling?
Mrsunsure, thats really interesting especially regarding the dairy. I was on a dairy free diet for the past few years, but this last cycle started eating it again, and I had a 26 day cycle rather than the usual 23 with a 11 day luteal phase rather than 10. Had also completely cut out caffeine and alcohol. Maybe just a coincidence?? x

SharyBobbins · 10/11/2015 10:33

Mascara that's amazing news!!! Congratulations!!! Hopefully if a CB is picking it up this early it means its a good strong sticky one! Everything crossed for you xx
