When to expect period - Provera

As above really. I finished 5 days of Provera on Saturday to induce a bleed to start Clomid. When should I expect a period? Just wondering if anyone has any experiences. Google is telling me lots of different times. Getting impatient

So I guess Monday is day 21? I would leave it until day 28 Boggle. I'm glad I say it out until official test day each time - let's face it, we're experts at waiting (and wishing), so why add to the stress and uncertainty by testing early? Obviously I'll support you whatever you decide

Today is cd27. Second follow up scan showed a lead follicle on cd19. So if I have ovulated it's been in the last 7 days. Was told to either go with a progesterone blood test either Friday or Monday. I've chosen Monday as I'm off work anyway and it's that bit later. My dates are screwed up cos I've never had a proper cycle xxx

Nope, she didn't show me the measurements or say. She just said it was good and what we were looking for xxx

Boggle I'd test 7 days after your progesterone test. If it doesn't work - and you're not out yet! - have they said you can do another round of clomid while waiting for l&d?

Thanks Moomin! She said occasionally the trigger doesn't work and you ovulate naturally a few days later, so said we should dtd the night of the trigger then every day for two more days, then every other day for a few more days. Which would be fine if we were on holiday but visitors + full time jobs...

Also for Boggle. I keep flailing between wild optimism and horrible depression too.

I'm not really sure whether they'll tell me to do another round of clomid or not. I'm still entitled to 2 more but it's whether they say yes, it makes sense to.

Guess I'll see if I can hold out to some point in that week before July starts which would be 7 days after the blood test.

Think I've started my period so that now leads to a whole host of other issues. I'm gutted.

Doing another round of clomid. Dr didn't seem overly worried about the small gap between lead folly and AF turning up. Guess we'll know if it's actually an issue this time. Now to do some more waiting

It's too heavy, red and clotty to be anything other than AF. I'll test tomorrow to be sure before starting clomid but I'm defo out. Just gotta hope next time works better xxx

Ella welcome back! What was the best bit about CP? Remind me when you're testing - can't be long now? Are you still going on your DTD-athon?

Moomin how are you feeling? Has the nausea stopped? I love that you still hang round here cheering us on.

AFM, I think I may have ovulated yesterday (about 36 hours after trigger), it felt like I had a stitch in my left hand side and I had random stomach pains for a few hours. We DTD Wed, Thu and last night, so hopefully we caught it. Test day is Sun 3rd July, which feels a very very long time away.

Great news robber, it will fly by! It was all lovely but seeing DD swimming every day was probably the best bit!

We're still at it 😴 although we've been so tired we just had an every 3 day....is that still OK? By my workings out I'm ov'ing really late so will keep going for another week and then test 2 weeks after that.

I'm going to ring Dr back end of next week for norethisterone ready for post op.

I've just had a friend and colleague died suddenly, 46 she was. Total shock. So me and DH have booked a nice trip around Europe for a joint 30th (my birthday & wedding anniversary) life's too bloody short! We're going to Prague, Munich, Vienna and Budapest xx doing it on a shoe string & renting spare rooms and small flats.

Ella every 3 days sounds fine, I think sperm lives up to 6 days.

Amy your trip sounds amazing. Budapest is wonderful, I loved it (and it is so cheap - great place to be on a budget).

Nothing to report. AF has finished and I've got tomorrow's clomid left to take and a follicle scan on the 29th.
