When to expect period - Provera

As above really. I finished 5 days of Provera on Saturday to induce a bleed to start Clomid. When should I expect a period? Just wondering if anyone has any experiences. Google is telling me lots of different times. Getting impatient Blush

Thinking about you Robber Flowers

YouBoggleMyMind · 13/06/2016 17:30

robber how did you get on bean? Xxx

RobberBride · 13/06/2016 21:39

I log off for 24 hours and this thread goes crazy Grin

Moomin thanks so much for the info about follicles and cycles, it is really helpful. I'm so sorry about your cat, how old is she? Any news from the vet? But on the plus side, the private scan results sound great. Is it starting to feel any more real, or do you keep just thinking ahead to the next scan or milestone? (Thinking about pregnancy bras sounds like you might be getting into it a bit Grin)

Boggle I really hope that you crack and test in two weeks, it all sounds so hopeful! Are you still getting the brown discharge or has it vanished?

Trying as the others say, see how sympathetic your GP is - you might at least be able to get CD21 progesterone tests to see if you are ovulating.

Ella how are you? I've got visions of you and DH collapsed in a heap after your impressive DTD schedule!

Good luck with pre-op Amy.

The scan went well. My lining is still beautiful and I've got 4 follies over 10mm, 3 around 11mm and 1 around 14mm. We're hoping the last one is the one that won rock-paper-scissors and will keep growing to 18mm so they can trigger me, while the rest keep hanging about under 14mm. Next scan on Wednesday morning. Fortunately work is crazy and my boss distracted, so they haven't really noticed me sneaking out for scans and then staying uber late to make up the time.

YouBoggleMyMind · 13/06/2016 21:44

Still discharging away! It was quite pink after last nights activity but has gone back to brown today. I think it is ovulation bleeding. It's that or there's something wrong with me!

Glad to hear your scan went well robber! Xxx

RobberBride · 13/06/2016 21:49

I did not know ovulation bleeding existed til you just mentioned it. Seriously, ovulation bleeding, implantation bleeding, AF bleeding - no wonder women go crazy when TTC, I wish the symptoms were a bit more distinct!

YouBoggleMyMind · 13/06/2016 21:55

I just think it's too early for implantation. I think I'm just hoping it isn't AF making herself known. If it is then it's the shortest cycle I've ever had!! It's so hard to not think about it all. Wah xxx

RobberBride · 13/06/2016 22:23

Boggle you've just reminded me - I had random mid cycle bleeding on my fifth cycle of clomid, and the nurses said it wasn't unusual. So it could be that?

YouBoggleMyMind · 13/06/2016 22:37

Yeah or possibly that! Cd24 what can you tell me!! God I wish my body could talk!

Moomin37 · 14/06/2016 08:31

I want a Boggle BFP next GrinStar Then you can be full of hormones and have a melt down and cry when your husband makes your breakfast wrong like I just did Confused

Robber I'm so relieved it's good news and so impressed that your clever body is responding so well to the geriatric lady piss. That 14mm follie should be big enough for you to trigger tomorrow or Thursday Smile If it's Ovitrelle, make sure you keep it in the fridge and have a look at the instructions beforehand (plus watch a YouTube video). I found doing the trigger terrifying as you only have one - no spares in the fridge if you get it wrong! But don't worry you'll be fine as it's actually easier than the Menopur, just different. Then you just have to sit tight for 16 days (but by the sound of it you get away with not having fanjo bullets which is a bonus - I'm on them until 12 weeks).

YouBoggleMyMind · 14/06/2016 08:36

Ah moomin that would be nice. I'm not holding my breath though!

Moomin37 · 14/06/2016 12:53

Well I am, so there Wink

YouBoggleMyMind · 14/06/2016 13:41

Thank you moomin. Hoping your story rings true with my situation xxx

AmyC86 · 14/06/2016 16:48

Ooh ladies, it sounds like it's all systems go for a lot of you on here at the moment, I feel like I'm missing out.

Had my pre-op yesterday, we're all set for surgery on the 5th x still no sign of AF, but again yesterday I had some brown/pink discharge when I went to the toilet. Still testing as BFN.

I'm going to phone the hospital at the end of this month and explain the situation with no AF, cd21 results etc and see if the doc will give me a new prescription for norethisterone. Do you think that they might increase my clomid dosage or do you think that they'll do another round of 50mg even know it didn't work

YouBoggleMyMind · 14/06/2016 20:06

Glad your pre op went well amy. Prolly best to get the op out the way and then go all guns blazing after and speak with your Dr.

I literally don't know how people deal with the dreaded 2ww. It's making me crazy! Xxx

RobberBride · 14/06/2016 22:01

Boggle has the discharge stopped? Will you get any kind of test/scan now, or are you just two-week-waiting?

Moomin whoa there - your husband makes your breakfast?! What a keeper! I think DH last made my breakfast in 2008. (To be fair, I've not made his either. Neither of us are coherent before coffee.) I'm not on fanjo bullets, though I sort of wish I was. It will be ovitrelle. I'm delegating that bit to DH, I'm just going to stand there with my eyes shut while he stabs me! How is your cat?

Amy apparently 50mg clomid rarely works first round if you don't normally ovulate, so they usually like you to do a second round before they put the dose up. You could go to your GP now to get the norethisterone, and then start it as soon as you start to feel better after your op.

Wave to Ella Eskimo Trying and lurkers.

Scan tomorrow morning. I feel bloated tonight, but that could be the amount of rubbish I ate today. I'm not sleeping at all (I keep waking up thinking of follicle sizes) so I'm shattered and eating crap to get me through work.

YouBoggleMyMind · 14/06/2016 22:08

I have a blood test on Monday for progesterone and then I test. If I'm pregnant then I get another scan (I guess to check it's ACTUALLY there) but otherwise I'm just waiting...

YouBoggleMyMind · 14/06/2016 22:10

Discharge is less than it was but still there. It's more brown and stringy... Bit like right at the end of AF. Sorry everyone!

RobberBride · 14/06/2016 22:20

That was exactly what the mid cycle Clomid bleeding I had was like. Google told me it was pretty common and nothing to worry about.

RobberBride · 14/06/2016 22:23

PS Boggle I meant that to seem reassuring, not dismissive!

YouBoggleMyMind · 14/06/2016 22:24

Cd25 today. Was hoping it might be more than mid cycle bleeding. I'm just losing hope!

YouBoggleMyMind · 14/06/2016 22:25

I know robber, thanks. I'm not worried really, just hate the waiting.

YouBoggleMyMind · 14/06/2016 22:31

I don't think I'm even waiting for anything. I doubt it'll even work! Why do we put ourselves through this!Sad

RobberBride · 15/06/2016 22:08

On phone so sorry for any typos.

Boggle I'm so sorry you're feeling down. Not long til progesterone test on Mon.

So Moomin was right - I triggered tonight. We've been given a terrifying dtd schedule for the next week, and my parents are visiting this weekend. I hope they go on lots of day trips!

Moomin37 · 16/06/2016 03:40

Yay congrats Robber Smile We were just told to DTD the night of the trigger and the one afterwards. You should ovulate between 24 and 36 hours after the shot, so not sure you need to be DTD like rabbits for a week?! Saying that I've just looked at Ovia and we did a bonus one three days after the trigger, but I think those swimmers would have been a bit late for the egg!

YouBoggleMyMind · 16/06/2016 08:53

Sounds very positive robber, good luck. Flowers

I'm not feeling positive anymore. It isn't going to work and I'm going to be sat here for weeks waiting for this operation. Sad
