As above really. I finished 5 days of Provera on Saturday to induce a bleed to start Clomid. When should I expect a period? Just wondering if anyone has any experiences. Google is telling me lots of different times. Getting impatient Blush

I agree with Boggle - DTD EOD is loads Smile The fertility nurses tell us to DTD every three days when stabbing, so you're really going for it, in more ways than one Wink

AmyC86 · 06/05/2016 08:21

I'm glad that appears to be enough, feel a bit more lighthearted this morning so I must have just been tired last night xx what do you think about this OPK from this morning (after 4 minutes)

What cycle day are you amy? Looks like the start of something, they need to match to be ovulating but they usually get darker every day after that so that's good!

Still no AF...still no BFP! Hope everyone's OK.

How are you feeling boggle?

Next week moomin!!!

What's news with you robber?

I'm thinking of asking for IUI next cycle, I think the reason I conceived so quickly with DD on Clomid is because I had just had a lap and due and opened everything up. My HSY thing failed as they couldn't get past my cervix.

Hope the tooth is better eskimo.

It's Friday and so sunny here!

Cd#12 here ladies xx 7 days post last dosage of clomid xx

eskimoflo · 06/05/2016 17:05

Amy Flowers Flowers I totally agree with Moomin re the temping and the OPKs. My OPKs were always positive at 'the right time' and then I'd have a CD21 test and it would show no ovulation, so the blasted sticks clearly lied to me, not just once but many times Angry As for temping, I could never completely get my head round it; I'm just not a morning person. Definitely knock the temping and the pee sticks on the head and focus on getting that sperm in regularly (one way or another! Wink ) You're allowed to feel negative. This journey is tough, unfair and full of dashed hopes. Keep going my lovely, we're all here for each other Flowers

Moomin37 · 06/05/2016 19:05

Evening all Smile I think your body needs to have a word with itself Ella! I mean what is it up to? You are being very good - lots of women in your situation would be going crazy. I'm feeling very tearful this evening - just so fed up of all of this... feeling physically rubbish from the drugs, feeling like a failure of a human being, feeling like I can't enjoy life as there is a black cloud over me etc. Sorry to moan on a sunny Friday.

EllaMenoPea · 06/05/2016 19:47

Thank you moomin Smile

I'm so sorry you're feeling shit, hopefully it's just all those hormones doing their thing Flowers

Like robber said to Amy you are totally allowed to feel negative. This time next week you'll hopefully have the biggest smile on your face!

Aww thanks Ella if anyone should be moaning it's you! Feeling slightly better after having a square meal Smile

RobberBride · 06/05/2016 23:04

Wow, lots of chat! In order of your posts...

Boggle I'm glad you've started again. Round 4 is definitely your round! Do you feel better now it is underway?

Eskimo how's the tooth? How many maternity clothes do you own now?

Moomin I definitely understand where you're coming from. Sometimes it is nice just living in hope. Sorry you're feeling physically rubbish, but hopefully it is a good sign?!

Amy I agree with Moomin, I thinking OPKs and temping are only useful for people who have normal cycles. OPKs in particular are notoriously crap, though some people with PCOS rate temping. I got told to DTD EOD, and to not DTD every day. Sorry if I've asked this before, but do you have progesterone blood tests?

Ella I'm so sorry this cycle is dragging on. Did you have a day 21 progesterone test? Do you know you definitely ovulated, and when? When's your next clinic appointment?

AFM, I had my clinic appointment last Wed. The nurse seemed very helpful, and it was really nice having DH there, though I still get the feeling I'm taking this more seriously than him. Anyway, we now have a plan! I start Norethisterone (aaaaargh) on 13th, so I should bleed around 27th, last day of our holiday. Then I'll have my baseline scan on 30th, and start stabbing with 75iu of Menopur that night. Feels good to have a plan, though I'm dreading repeating the norethisterone experience.

Hope you've all got good weekends planned? It is supposed to be gorgeous on Sunday! I'm going to take advantage of my barren, childless status and take DH off to a lovely beer garden. Beer, sunshine and the papers, my perfect Sunday.

AmyC86 · 07/05/2016 17:45

Thanks for the support ladies, feeling much better today. I do have blood tests for cd#21 they'll be due next Monday x

RobberBride · 09/05/2016 20:26

Hi Amy, good luck for CD21 test! Hope you get the results quickly.

EllaMenoPea · 09/05/2016 21:34

Thanks robber no I didn't have any tests this time so only going on ov tests that I ovulated, obviously not sure now!

So glad you have a plan...just get through the Norethisterone, you can do it!!

amy are the tests any darker?

moomin it's so close to test day! How do you feel?

Did you test boggle???

OP posts:
Moomin37 · 10/05/2016 06:24

Has the Provera done the trick yet Boggle? If not I hope your body doesn't keep you waiting too long Smile

Yes good luck with the blood test Amy - I only did Clomid once and got score of 27 so inconclusive - there's a surprise Hmm

So Ella do you have any symptoms and when did you last test? I keep thinking about you and checking this thread. Have you ever waited this long for AF after Clomid before and what does your clinic say? Sorry for all the questions and hang on in there Smile

Hurrah for stabbing Robber Star and glad your clinic were good. You'll need to stab at the same time every night (I did 8pm) so make sure you don't book any evenings out! I kept my Menopur in the fridge, but there is no need to, but the Ovitrelle trigger shot had to be refrigerated (not that they told me that the first time so I left it in the boot of my car Shock). My clinic seemed to be aiming for 16mm, possibly 17mm told which really worried me as it seems a lot smaller than the IVFers, so will be interested to see how you go and any differences in your clinic's approach.

AFM I've been VERY irritable, need to eat more frequently than normal (I am a grazer anyway) and tearful. Out of choice I would have hidden myself away from the world, but I've forced myself to be socialable and once I'm out and about with friends I've been OK. I've had some stomach pain (not cramps, just pressure and twinges) and bad gas for the last couple of days! Oh and my right nipple has been a little sensitive, but not as much as before. So all in all, naff all to go on!

EllaMenoPea · 10/05/2016 07:19

Oh moomin it really does all sound promising!

I last tested last Tuesday I think...no I've never waited this long. I just don't think it worked at all this time! I've still got Provera but may wait and call the clinic and see what they think, I just can't see point in doing another 2 rounds if its stopped working.

OP posts:
AmyC86 · 10/05/2016 23:31

I've given up on the opks and on the temping. I was driving myself mad. Cd#16, been having slight cramps (left side & central) over the last 24 hours.

We continued to DTD every other day, which is what's recommended. Apart from this, I'm just using luck that it works!

Anyone taken clomid, how many days am I to expect my cycle to last I've never been regular you see!

Moomin37 · 11/05/2016 06:21

All sounds good Amy well done to you and your DH Smile I've just checked back on Ovia and I had a 27 day cycle on Clomid - left to my own devices the painters would only turn up about once every other year Confused

I had some brown blood this morning Sad Going to ignore and continue with fanjo bullets.

AmyC86 · 11/05/2016 08:36

I've been using that ovia thing, just to keep a track. I think I've set it up for a cycle of 31 days, but it's alright because we're actively DTD every other day and have been since the painters left.

Like you moomin my last natural period was June 2015, 11 months ago!

EllaMenoPea · 11/05/2016 17:28

Could it be implantation moomin? I have everything crossed for you X

OP posts:
Moomin37 · 11/05/2016 17:42

It's been going on all day Ella Sad It was very dark brown when I woke up and has been much lighter brown the rest of the day.

EllaMenoPea · 11/05/2016 18:05

Some people have implantation for days. It's not over till it's over FlowersFlowers

OP posts:
Moomin37 · 11/05/2016 18:31

Thanks Ella Smile Any news your end, so to speak?! You are being so good about it all Flowers

EllaMenoPea · 11/05/2016 20:56

No news at all moomin! Confused

Is test day Friday?
