As above really. I finished 5 days of Provera on Saturday to induce a bleed to start Clomid. When should I expect a period? Just wondering if anyone has any experiences. Google is telling me lots of different times. Getting impatient Blush

robber my SIL did the same, from a one night stand 😣

YouBoggleMyMind · 29/04/2016 23:45

It is made easier that I knew she was trying so news of this was expected at some point. Looks as though it was her first go. Just wish it had been as simple for us. Though we wouldn't be friends if that had happened and you ladies are the best xxx

EllaMenoPea · 30/04/2016 07:36

Thanks for that robber, yes 50 makes me ovulate but not get me pregnant apparently. What a series of fuck ups you've had Flowers how frustrating. We had to take our passports to our first private appointment. I have no idea if we can afford IUI yet....will have to sit down and have a good think and work it all out.

Thanks moomim hope you're feeling Ok this round...when do you make test day??

Thanks boggle. Hope you're OK, I know the pregnancy announcement feelings so well. It's OK to feel sad for you Flowers

How are you feeling amy? Good luck for the 9th.

Thinking about eskimo, hopefully she's just busy xxxxx

Hi ella

I'm doing well thanks xx last tablet of clomid tonight. Not had many side effects, the only one thing I've had is quite bad sweats in the night and into the morning (was pretty bad this morning because the air-con is broken in work and the office is a nice Balmy 29 degrees so I was sat with both fans on me for 10 minutes haha). Have been told that the gynecologist secretary is getting me booked in for a scan on the 9th for a folicale check. However, they've not got back to me with a definite appointment yet which I'm fustrated about really. Temping seems to be a bit all over the place, not sure what if anything that I'm doing wrong, still waiting for the forced visit of AF to bugger off so I can give it a go with the OPKS, which I know aren't the most reliable of things with PCOS but hey ho, I'll give them a whirl.

How about you? How are you doing?

eskimoflo · 01/05/2016 14:13

Oh ladies, I'm so very sorry for not being on and updating you all. Thank you so much for thinking and asking about me. It has been a very busy week and I've not been so well with my tooth, but that's no excuse for going AWOL! It's all good news and we are expecting a little boy Grin Grin The scan went well and everything looks as it should at this stage.

We have cautiously started to look at baby stuff, although not bought anything yet and I've allowed myself to buy a pair of maternity jeans as I seem to have popped out very much in the last 5 days! (Previously, the only maternity item I've bought has been work trousers which I've been wearing for about 10 weeks already!)

In other news, the tooth has gone! It got unbearable on Tuesday, so on Wednesday I called the dentist and he pulled it out on Wednesday evening. It was just horrible, horrible and I went to work on Thursday but came home early and slept all evening. It is getting better now, so hopefully no more problems. Smile

I like the intro thing, I will try and complete it...

Name: Eskimoflo
Age: 33
DC: 1 on the way (!) and 2 fur babies- greyhounds
TTC: from Sept 2014 until Dec 2015
Diagnosis: No official diagnosis. Amenorrhoea and annovulation after finishing the pill
Investigations: Blood tests, Ultrasounds, HsoSY,
Treatment: Clomid (50mg, 100mg, 150mg)
Next milestone: Erm... midwife app in 3 weeks, baby due 11.09.16! Eeek!
Location: Yorkshire
Most amusing moment as a barren:
Whilst putting in a load of red clothes into the washing machine, I think I've dropped a sock on the way through, so I shout to DH 'Have I dropped anything red?' and he shouts back 'Not for a while...' Grin

Hope you're all doing ok. I cannot express how much it means to still be a part of this group and I know I've said it before, but you will all get there, especially now metformin is on the cards for a lot of you. I've heard nothing but success stories about this wonder drug x x x x

Moomin37 · 01/05/2016 15:05

Oh Eskimo it's made my day reading your post and knowing you and baby (boy!) are fine and dandy SmileStarFlowers

EllaMenoPea · 01/05/2016 19:04

A awe what a lovely post Eskimo xx wonderful news xx best of luck with you for the rest of your pregnancy xx

YouBoggleMyMind · 02/05/2016 10:07

Hi eskimo, thanks for dropping by. Lovely news about your scan and baby boy!
September is the best month, it's our 2nd wedding anniversary on the 12th September so maybe you'll share it with us!
Glad everything is going well. Xxx

RobberBride · 02/05/2016 23:02

Lovely to see you Eskimo and to hear your news. Sorry you've had a painful time with your tooth. Your barren moment is excellent!

Moomin37 · 03/05/2016 06:22

Hey Ella have you tested again or has AF arrived? Also in answer to your question, OTD is 12th May - it's a relief to be able to think this is only 'next week' now. Just had really bad hot flushes for the second night in a row - don't recall them last time!

EllaMenoPea · 03/05/2016 08:03

Another BFN and no AF or any signs of her showing either. I think Clomid is just really messing my cycle up. I think the clinic will just say to carry on and do the next two cycles but I really can't imagine them working of the last 4 haven't!

Oh next week is so exciting!

Having a bad evening tonight. Worried about flying on Saturday and my friend has now put her news on Facebook. Thought I was ok with it... Turns out I'm not Sad

Moomin37 · 03/05/2016 21:41

Oh Boggle Sad I am so scared of flying I don't even have a passport, so you have my sympathy Flowers Sorry to hear about the upsetting FB post too.

Moomin37 · 03/05/2016 21:43

Now what exactly is your body up to Ella?! Confused Well no news is good news, so I think we're all entitled to still have our fingers crossed for you and to be thinking positive thoughts Smile

YouBoggleMyMind · 03/05/2016 21:44

Wish I could pull myself together.

RobberBride · 03/05/2016 22:27

Boggle and Ella have some unmumsnetty hugs and some Flowers.

Boggle I'm so sorry you're feeling crap. We've all been there - you're happy for your friend but can't help wondering if it will ever happen for you, and if so how much longer you'll have to wait. Please rant to us about how unfair this all is if that will help. Also, I know logic won't make you less scared, but you're much safer in the air than on a British road. Have some Cake and Gin.

Ella is there any chance you might have ovulated later than you thought? Keep taking those tests just in case! When do you next speak to or see your clinic people?

Moomin yay for 'next week'! Are you going to hold out til 12th? How is your DH feeling?

YouBoggleMyMind · 03/05/2016 23:02

Thanks robber

I just feel a bit hopeless and hate that nothing is happening at the minute.

Sad
YouBoggleMyMind · 05/05/2016 10:51

I am going to test tonight and start provera again tomorrow. Need to get on with it for my sanity. Wish me luck ladies. Lucky number 4 ok! Xxx

eskimoflo · 05/05/2016 17:07

Boggle Flowers Flowers Limbo is the worst kind of situation. Good luck with the next round!

Ella Any sign of anything yet? Confused

Moomin Not long to go now! Keeping everything crossed for you!

Robber and Amy How are you both doing? x x

Moomin37 · 05/05/2016 21:02

Good luck Boggle Smile This is it!

I think I'm 7dpo now and I'll know this time next week Shock I think someone asked if I plan to test early - the answer is no as I think all that does is bring people grief on top of all the stress of TTC/barreness.

I can't believe it's Friday tomorrow Smile

AmyC86 · 05/05/2016 21:08

The longest wait of my life Eskimo cd#11. Won't be getting anew ultrasound as they're too busy. Temping is all over the place and I'm thinking of knocking it on the head. Opks have been negative so far xx feel very much down in the dumps Sad and negative that it'll never happen.

Moomin37 · 05/05/2016 21:46

Oh Amy sorry to hear you so frustrated and fed up Sad My clinic only did the day 21 test for Clomid - no offer of a scan. I know I've said this before but OPKs and temping just seems to cause nothing but grief. Perhaps they work fine for the fertiles, but we're here cos our bodies don't behave like other people's and they don't like to conform! Well that's the way I look at it anyway Smile

AmyC86 · 05/05/2016 22:28

I agree moomin I'm literally thinking about it all the time, and I know they say not to get stressed, but I want this to work so much.

Do you think that DTD every other day is enough? I feel so clueless about all this!

YouBoggleMyMind · 05/05/2016 23:04

Dtd every other day is plenty. Sperm can live for upto 5 days so regular dtd will leave a nice continuous flow... Blush
Sorry you feel down in the dumps, me too. Let's hug it out hugs xxx
