Oh yes I forgot she has your brother too.... Can stbxh help?

Wow that is an impressive bump!! Grin

I was induced bang on 37 weeks with ds, took 3 days but he got here Smile they did offer to induce me at 36 weeks so it can be done as long as there is a need for it. Being in that much pain sounds like a need for induction to me.

He would but he's at work tonight lol!

I've gone and jinxed myself! That or I'm just worrying even more for nothing Confused been getting horrible bh for the past 2 hours, but baby hasn't moved. Wish I had never mentioned it in that comment!! :( :(
I've just wiggled my belly and poked him but nothing. I can feel like his arm or leg and usually if I press it he moves it out the way n he hasn't! :( I've jinxed it now, I wish I hadn't said anything about movements :( can't go on with this I just need him here and safe! :(

Cupcake92 · 14/10/2015 21:04

It's okay he's just kicked me!

LuluJakey1 · 14/10/2015 21:04

Try a glass of icey water Cupcake.

That is some bump! But you are all bump so you will be slim quickly afterwards I think. And I bet it is this weekend.

DS has been back to normal today and has a new tooth just peeping through. He spent this morning scuttling round the new room in his baby walker. We have been for a long walk this afternoon- it was sunny but not hot. Then he did some more spinnng around the room and shouting and has worn himself out. He has been asleep since just after 8.

Peace and quiet. Hurrah!

Ducky- his teeth will arrive when they are ready to. I wouldn't worry about it.

Cupcake92 · 15/10/2015 06:11

He was moving a bit more after I took ur advice Lulu. I think I'm getting more worried as I know the times nearly up. Just need to know he'll be here safe.

And yes! I'm all bump! It's looks weird Grin it just sticks out from me haha.

Ur DS sounds likes he's had a great day yesterday! :) glad his tooth popped through. And also asleep at 8 is great!
My DS fell asleep at 7:15pm!!
He had just finished his bedtime milk and watched the CBeebies bedtime story, then I turned Hollyoaks on and he came and sat on the sofa and I tidied his toys away and then sat down n he was fast asleep! I was a bit shocked! So I put him to bed.
He woke up at 6am this morning so he did very well!!

LuluJakey1 · 15/10/2015 06:52

DS is still asleep. I am hoping he has a good day today again.

If you are worried about the baby movng, ring up and tell them. Hope you have a good day and get some rest. Is DS at nursery?

zombiemeow · 15/10/2015 07:43

I definaty got more anxious towards the end cupcake, just ring mau if your ever worried Smile well done to ds with his sleep!!

Glad ds is back to normal now lulu, hope dh legs are better too Grin

We had an absolutely awful night last night Sad ds woke once before I went to bed which is good for him, so I thought we would have a good night. I went to bed around 10.30. 11.45 he woke up, he was up until 4.45 Sad I tried everything, I tried holding him and he would go to sleep then wake up the second I put him down, I tried calpol, I tried giving him food. Nothing worked. Then he woke up for the day at 5.30. I'm exhausted. And what's worse is we have a long drive tonight, I don't know how I'll do it Sad

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 15/10/2015 08:30

Wow Lulu! Ur DS is having one good sleep! Grin and yes my DS is at nursery this morning. Last day this week, then he's back on Tuesday.

Ducky I don't think the worry ever ends. My auntie lost her son at 38 weeks so it always plays on my mind. No idea why it happened either, it just happened.
Just need him out so I can make sure he's safe.
Sounds like uve both had a horrible night :(
Try and sleep when DS sleeps today if u and I please don't drive if ur too tired! :(
Can't DH drive? Or is he like my exH who could never be arsed to pass his driving test as he thought it was pointless?

zombiemeow · 15/10/2015 08:36

Problem is if I put him down in the day in his cot he just wakes up Sad I have to hold him. H can't drive cus his car is in the garage (we're having to pick it up tonight) mil agreed to pay for it as we couldn't afford it and it was her car that she gave to dh, it already needed repairs, but booked it in at a garage near her which is an hour away Angry

If you are worried cupcake you can always ask to be booked in for appointments to be monitored? Towards the end with ds I was so worried they booked me in for daily monitoring which definitely helped

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 15/10/2015 20:27

Oh that's annoying Ducky :/
Hope u managed to rest a bit today at least! And hope ur home now and settled!

I didn't know I could do that ducky?? I would have done the ages ago and asked to go in at least once a week!
I'm just glad that it's finally Friday tomorrow, if I just get through the weekend I'll be okay as I'm busy Monday and Tuesday so those days will fly by!
And of course Wednesday is my last scan and they may induce me that day!! Got to take all my hospital bags with me! So exH is coming with me that day and has booked a week off from work. Which I'm shocked he's done tbh!!
It's a good job we are getting on better atm and actually seem like friends because he'll be with me all day if I'm induced Wednesday!!

zombiemeow · 15/10/2015 20:49

Oh yes I had weekly appointments booked from 28 weeks, then it went to twice weekly, then daily, just because I was so anxious. They told me I could go twice a day if I wanted to but I thought it was a bit much! I even had my own bands and every thing for the machines.

That's great that you and exh are getting on better Smilemust be a much better atmosphere.

I got back late, it was a nightmare. Ds was hysterical the whole way back because he was so so bored, I was tired and had a headache and there was no where safe for me to pull over to sort ds. Then I think I got a speeding ticket as I was panicking about sorting ds Sad

LuluJakey1 · 15/10/2015 22:24

One of DH's grandmas died this morning, well last night in her sleep but MIL found her this morning.
SIL and I drove straight down with DS. MIL is very upset. Her mum was 88 and has been frail and had a chest infection. She was so lovely.
DH is very upset, he drove down at the end of work and spent a couple of hours with PIL and we have driven home. I drove because he has work tomorrow. 4 hours driving is tiring in a day when you usually do 15 mins max. Horrible day.
DH goes pale when he is tired and he is so pale and sad and has a headache.

zombiemeow · 15/10/2015 22:37

So sorry lulu SadThanks what awful news.

I'm in bed crying Sad I tried to get an early night, ds started screaming about 5 mins after I went to bed, it went on for an hour. I'm so tired I just gave him to h in tears and walked out. Feel like an utter fucking failure. Don't know why I can't get this right Sad

OP posts:
LuluJakey1 · 15/10/2015 23:21

Thanks Ducky.

You are not a failure. He is just a baby and they go through phases. You have got one who is not a good sleeper at the moment. You are a great mum. A bad mum wouldn't care or be trying her best. You try your best every day.

DS was very clingy all day, I think he must have sensed the upset. He was very uncertain of everything and he is usually a very confident little character.

Let's hope for a better day tomorrow.

Cupcake92 · 16/10/2015 07:08

Oh ducky :( don't worry. Ur deffo not a failure I promise u that! U sound exactly like me ducky, seriously, I was like that with DS.
Sometimes I ended up shouting at him and breaking down into tears, and exH would have to take him off me and he would have to have a go at getting him to sleep. Id just sit there crying in hysterics and blaming myself for doing something wrong as a mother.
It gets easier tho, slowly, but it gets easier I promise.
Ur a fantastic mom and doing everything u can for ur DS. Remember that.

Oh Lulu I'm sorry to hear that :( Flowers what an awful day for u all.
Sending u all lots of hugs Flowers

I'm tired, not sleeping very well at all. And due to having to sleep sitting up, the very bottom of my back is sore and feels bruised as I'm sat on it all night Grin not long till baby is here tho. Yay!

zombiemeow · 16/10/2015 07:45

Thank you guys, sleep deprivation is awful and is making things worse with me and h.

Lulu, how is dh today? Is he going into work? Maybe he should have a day off? I think they can definitely sense the upset when something like this happens.

Cupcake are you sleeping in bed? I remember trying to sleep say up when I was pg and it failed I ended up falling sideways when I eventually got to sleep and woke up in agony! We had a corner sofa and eventually I just slept propped up in the corner and it was much better. So exited for your labor updates Grin

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 16/10/2015 12:02

Ducky sleep deprivation can rele send a person insane! I have all this to come again Grin I hope DS2 is a good sleeper I rele do, but I doubt it!
And yes ducky I'm still sleeping in bed atm! I do think about going downstairs on the sofa but I feel bad about leaving DS upstairs all by himself! So I just suffer in bed atm and I know what u mean about falling sideways Grin I do that and omg my hip when I wake up is so painful!! I do have like a pillow fort around me but it doesn't always work Grin

DS has had a crazy morning! He's been outside in the garden and played football, I attempted to play but it actually hurts to kick a football Grin and then he's been running round the house naked whilst I tidied up! Grin DS is now eating his lunch and fingers crossed he goes for a nap after it.
I feel so much more relaxed today, just because I know it's Friday and it's the end of the week and DS2 will be here soon :)

LuluJakey1 · 16/10/2015 19:54

DH slept ok until about 4am then woke me up to keep him company. He has been to work and said it was ok. He wants to go down to Yorkshire tomorrow to his mum and dad's. He and SIL are going and DS and I are staying here. It's a long way for DS again. He will be back tomorrow night. DS and I are going out for a walk and lunch with BIL

The funeral is next Friday and we'll all go down next Thursday night. We are not taking DS to the funeral. FIL's sister has offered to stay at PIL house and look after DS.

Did you manage to toilet train DS Cupcake? Just when you said he was runnng around naked. DS just widdles as soon as he has his nappy off Grin
Not long now! A week at the most!

Hope you are feeling better Ducky and that DS got some sleep.

zombiemeow · 16/10/2015 21:27

Was it the chest infection lulu? Hope your all doing as well as can be expected. The grandmas always sounded so lovely.

Cupcake the pillow fort sounds ace! Hope ds is worn out! He sounds like he has come on loads since going to nursery. Can't believe how close we are to your second Grin

Think ds has had a reaction today Sad at dinner he seemed very unsettled, he's had a few bad poos all over the floor and me and had bad reflux tonight. Poor thing

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 16/10/2015 22:33

Oh bless u all Lulu Flowers

Well he's half toilet trained Grin it's the best I can do for now. He can have his nappy off and won't wee or poo at all on the floor anymore. But for some reason he won't use the potty either. He just comes up to me and says 'nappy quick quick' haha Grin and he lies down and shouts till I put a nappy on him then he'll do his business and want it off again!
So I've just got to teach him that he goes on the potty instead of asking for a nappy.

Ducky I jinxed myself and I've come downstairs to the sofa tonight Grin I have awful hip and pelvis ache and my stupid legs keep twitching! And I know! I'm so shocked at how much he's learnt from nursery!! It's made him grow up so much. Even the little things like now when he's eaten his dinner he gets off his chair picks his plate up and says 'finished' and actually goes and puts it on the side in the kitchen!! Shock how grown up is that!
Tho tonight he's been in one of his moods and ate nothing for dinner and was playing up a lot. He wanted to see his nana but fell asleep when she turned up so missed her Confused he asked to go to bed at 7:30 as well. He's just made a noise on the monitor so I think he's gonna wake up soon Confused I hope not tho!!

Oh no ur poor DS! :( what did he eat to cause the reaction?
I hope he sleeps well for u tonight! U deserve a good rest!!

Cupcake92 · 16/10/2015 23:51

He's awake now :/

LuluJakey1 · 17/10/2015 10:04

Did you get some sleep Cupcake? Hope so.

Ducky, the death certificate says heart attack- in medical terms. DH left about half 7 this morning with SIL.

DS is walking round the room clinging on to sofas and falling over every so often. He just can't quite balance without holding on and move his feet at the same time. He doesn't seem to mind Smile

We have had scrambled egg and toast for breakfast. Scrambled egg went everywhere.

What are everyone's plans today? We are about to walk round to BIL and go for a walk to the lighthouse to see the birds and seals then go along to the junk market and have some lunch then come home. It is a dull, breezy but not too cold autumn day here. Lots of leaves flying and trees changing colour so the walk will be nice. DS likes the birds - there are geese, ducks and herons and curlews usually as well as gulls and other birds in the bird reserve around the lake and on the beach and dunes and he likes the seals but he can't go down to the rocks near them. If the tide is out you can walk across the causeway to the lighthouse and the island. I like that but DS is not very interested yet.

Anyway, we will be worn out by teatime.

zombiemeow · 17/10/2015 10:05

That's good with the toilet training! I would of thought it would take a longer time than that.

Hope you managed to get some sleep again.

We had a better night, ds went to bed later. He usually goes at 6 but he stayed up until 8.30. He still woke up 6/7 times but settled with just his dummy whereas before he wouldn't settle and would just want to get up.

I want to make his bed time later but usually he is so tired by 6 o clock.

H is out tonight until tomorrow afternoon can't wait to have a peaceful night alone so am hoping he will have a good night and I can take up the whole bed and get a full nights sleep.

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 17/10/2015 18:42

Lulu, no I didn't get any sleep. I've been so exhausted all day. So glad this baby is coming out soon Grin
How has ur day been?
When will DH be back?

Ducky hve u tried giving DS a bath at 6 when he gets sleepy? That sometimes wake my DS up as he like to play in the bath.
And ooo lucky u! Hope u enjoy ur peace and quiet!! :)

I'm so achy today I am waddling more than I've ever waddled before!!

LuluJakey1 · 17/10/2015 19:20

Hope you get some sleep tonight Cupcake. You must be so fed up.

DH should be back about half 8. He rang about half 6 to say they were leaving.

DS and I have had a nice day with BIL. We got home about half 4 and DS had a nap but he is wide awake now. He has had his tea- macaroni cheese and tomatoes and green beans, followed by stewed apple and yoghurt- been in the bath and is scuttling round in his baby walker.

I am waiting to eat with DH. I've got some ice cold cider for him to have with his meal. He's having green salad with his instead of the tomatoes and green beans. He says he is tired and it has been a hard day. His other grandma is very upset. His dad isn't well either- he has an illness that comes and goes but often flares up with stress and can be really debilitating.

Ducky, you must be looking forward to having the bed to yourself. Hope DS sleeps and you get the luxury of space, quiet and sleep.
