Hello, I'm new to MumsNet. We are officially going to ttc baby #1 at the end of September but I'm 1dpo and in the 7 days leading up to ovulation we DBD 4 times. I'm so so hoping that AF won't make an appearance on the 22nd August! Just starting the tww. Anyone else in this boat, or anyone else ttc on cycle 1?

So Im 5dpo and as a complete contrast to my manic symptom spotting of last month, im seeing no symptoms, at all, no matter how hard i look or imagine. Not a good sign for this month i suppose... 2 weeks to test...

Thanks brenna & Mrs rhubarb a neg opk today so I'll test again tomorrow still dtd just incase! Is everyone else doing it every other day during the fertile period or every day??

I've been locked out of the app for ages so have finaly found the thread on the web.

I'm out this month, I started spotting at the weekend then nothing so was thinking maybe an implantation bleed but then AF arrived proper last night!

I'm just fingers crossed for a normal period rather than another pill withdrawal bleed...

As for vitamins, I'm just on the folic acid and managing everything else through my diet.

Oh Im sorry to hear that ren, but it will be good if it kick starts your normal cycle now and next month could be the one.

Im 6 maybe 7 dpo, and still just feel normal. No nausea, tiredness or anything. Got loads of cheap tests so will just amuse myself with a daily test until af shows up (or not fx)

Hi can I join?! I'm 37, TTC #1 and cycle #1! Currently in the TWW and AF due 12th but pretty sure I missed the best fertile window lol!
Are most people using Ovia app? I've got Kindara but was recommended by an American friend so I don't know anyone else using it!!

Hi and welcome cakelady! I too am 37 and trying for my 1st!! 3rd cycle lucky now tho...I use the ovia app seems to be ok! I too am in the 2ww... Had a positive opk today tho so am still dtd lol! AF is due 18th fx for us both! Lisa x

Today Im feeling sooo tired. Went to bed at half 9 last night and slept for 12 hours, and now at 4pm Im feeling like I need a nap. Hope this is a good sign and not just me being lazy!

Hi all! I haven't been around since I last posted as nothing is really happening.

I downloaded that Ovia app when I got AF (I think it was that rather than withdrawal bleed as it happened about 3 weeks after coming off pill but not 100% sure) and it says my fertile period begins on Wednesday so I now feel like I'm just waiting around to dtd next week! I also bought some of those cheapy-amazon opk sticks which I'll use next week too.

My skin is going crazy since coming off cerazette. I haven't been this spotty for years, especially around my chin. I guess I need to see it as a good thing in that it shoes the pill is/has left my system but it's really flipping annoying and I feel like it could be a tell-tell sign to some that I'm off the pill as my skin is usually pretty clear and the chin is known to be the hormonal area... But I think I could be over thinking things.

Try a cream with benzoyl poroxide 5% in and moisturise after use, I suffered with outbreaks of bad skin now and again while still on the 'helps your skin' pill and it helped, I'm still using it now in small amounts xx

Good luck @sunflower86 I'm with you in the waiting game too (ps can I join pls>?!) - I am only 2 DPO and so excited. This is my 3rd month of TTC and I am thinking 3rd time lucky!! Its so frustrating waiting and you feel like you're going crazy hey? So its nice to be able to share this wait with some of you ladies. Who else is currently still in the waiting game?

I'm 33, this is my 1st !

No way XL, my AF would normally be due 18/19 Sep too. I'm travelling without my husband 19-22nd, so I'm going to see if I can wait it out until the 22nd before testing.

I was impatient and tested at 11dpo... But it looks like I got my BFP!!

Huge congratulations Sunflower! What a lucky thread this one is.

It will be my first and Im completely clueless. Luckily, my sister did this all last year so has all the books and shes a midwife too! So im going to be bothering her lots. Im only 11dpo so dont want to get ahead of myself too much but im soo excited and relieved. Even 2 months of trying has felt like ages! Fx for everyone else waiting this month. I hope this lucky group brings some more bfps.

Not worked out due date yet, I poas this morn before work so had to contain myself and try and go about my usual day! It looked negative so hopped in the shower and when I got out I couldnt believe it. Treated myself to the digital one to confirm xx
