Rules of Entry - must be over 30, TTC no. 1 for over a year, be suitably evil and Hag like, willing to shout Cunt at the moon on regular occasions, consume extra gin when our fellow hags are unable to, and to get the nipple tassles out for any successful Hag ...

We're all systems go for EC on Weds now. Got 4 follies over 20mm and a a few others in the high teens so hoping we'll get a decent number on Weds. Trigger shot tonight!

all good, although still feeling really spaced out even now! Have decided I rather like GA's, I was only under for about 25 mins but it was the best nap ever! Grin
We got (lucky number) 7 eggs (had 11 follies at last scan) so hoping they're all fertilising happily this evening. I'll be on 3x daily progesterone pessaries from tonight (lutigest).
My main goal for the rest of today is to make it through GBBO without nodding off - life goals hags.

The embryologist said she'd call us between 8:30 - 9:30. Firmly in the next menkul phase now of worrying about crappy fertilisation rates. There's always something to obsess over isn't there! Bloody tiring.

4 embryos fertilised normally, phew! I know statistically that's a good % (I think the benchmark they aim for nationally is 60%?) but it's still sad/disappointing to lose 3 already. I am sure you all understand what I mean!

Clinic just called. They're all still going but only one doing well. They've therefore scheduled us in to do a D3 transfer tomorrow morning. If any of the rubbish 3 catch up, they will put two back. If by some miracle they look better tomorrow they'll let us know and go for D5. Despondent is not even the word for how I feel right now. Whatever happens looks like we won't be freezing anything.

Time for the old adage Rain, IOTO. Easy to say, horrible to think about at this stage of the roller coaster but it's true. It really is a numbers game at this point unfortunately and I had similar - I only had 2 out of 3 fertilise and they put them both back in on day 2. I'm a little surprised they are talking of pushing to day 5 as my clinic didn't do this even when I had a number of embies fertilise - they wanted more like at least 8 good embies to be willing to push them to day 5. I also didn't have any frosties at any point after three rounds so i know how you feel. It's shit. Have a forehead stroke lovely. You're doing well and are almost to the next stage - this bit is horrid. Be kind to yourself - are you working or are you at home? Wherever you are treat yourself to some cake. And we'll throw shoals of hake at you for hope.
