Basically got The Fear big time that I will have no follies on weds and it'll all be in vain. Add to that I've been getting shitty migraines since I started stims last week and the hormones generally making me a massive weepy whack job and I am not having the best start to the week!!! Whinge over. Send fish slaps my way please.

Hi bedtime. So sorry you've been having no luck ttc, it's shite isn't it? I'm afraid we're pretty strict on the age criteria on this thread, while infertility is crap whatever your age, passing 30 adds a particularly special later of shit on top, so we like to stick together. There are some great threads on the conception board for long term ttcers, hopefully one of them will suit you? While the BESH are obviously awesome, we're definitely not the only ones on MN parish to swearing and evilness. Good luck!!!

All done with the scan and I do have follies, hooray!
The first nurse couldn't find my right ovary so had to get someone else in who found it straightaway - most thorough probing I've ever had with the trusty dildocam!!.

Anyway, lining looks fine at 10.4 and follicle wise there were five tiddlers on the left, 7,7,7,8,13 and four bigger ones on the left 9,11,13,15. There were a couple more too small to measure on both sides. Starting in the same dose so fx for some good growth between now and Friday.

Woo-hoo well done follys!! Good job girls!

Oh and some fish slaps for me - my HSG appointment tomorrow has been cancelled which means that we could have tried this month and wasted it because they told me not to have the secks until after the appointment! It also means we now can't try next month either! Bloody fertility clinics not letting me secks!

I'm back from holidays a day early. I had a little teenage strop and said I wanted to come home. Three days camping in the rain was enough for me. I don't usually have a problem, but this was it, this was my summer holiday that I'd been holding onto through all the shit while DCW was away and I was going through the Fet on my own. Hags, it just didn't cut it .

How did it go on Friday, rain ?

Hols should simply be fab especially when ttc, barking. I recall one where we drove practically across Europe to hide from the rain. It was awful, but pretty good when we reached the sun - far down south...

With me all is well, on track for FET next week. Triggering today or tomorrow depending on clinic convenience... But some hideous RL shit happened to people close to me this week, so I am being a lot less online these days. Needed for support elsewhere. So apols for a very brief visit to the BESHies...

Friday's scan went well, a few extra follies (little ones) but the rest up in the teens with one already at 19mm so hoping that tomorrow mornings scan shows a decent number ready to go for EC on Weds. cave I wish swimming were involved, I miss my weekly swim! (This is my own fault for avoiding the pool after the nurse mentioned infections - I realise this is only relevant post EC but I thought I'd be safe rather than sorry).

I had a call from FC on Friday, they've got my paperwork and I'm "in the system". The nurse said it will probably be Oct/Nov before I get an appointment, but because they know what treatment I'll be on she said I can crack straight on without any of the faffing about. They also confirmed I qualify for free NHS treatment, which is a relief!
