My hysto is so far scheduled for Thursday next week... but since my cycle is still all over the place, we may have to reschedule. I hope not though. I am all psyched up, taking a step by step approach and eating all the cakes, trying to restrain on the wine

Not started IVF yet and will have to request time off work already, Monday for a scan to make sure that the insides are ready for hysto (any tips to bring AF on over the week end so I don't have to do it? Never thought I would ask this!) and Thursday for the hysto.

One 7 cell, one 8 cells (aiming for between 6-10). Egg transfer still planned for Saturday. Honestly the whole thing makes me sick with nerves, I hate that we have to go through it too Erica. I've started with the Fanjo bullets, they make me bloated and needing to fart all the time. My Fanjo is leaking a white left-over tablet gunk. If IVF doesn't work for us there is no way I will ever conceive naturally as there is no way Mr B will ever want to sechs me again!

I'm glad your manager is supportive Erica but it's still shit isn't it. No instadiffer ever had to tell their manager about trying to conceive ("can I have Friday afternoon off, I need to shag my man?") it's all madness. Thinking of you Hag.

Erica there is a pressure point on your foot that you can use to speed the droid up, my acupuncture lady told me about it. I tried googling it for you but it kept telling me how to bring on labour . Raspberry leaf tea might be worth a try as well. Fingers crossed it shows up.
Good news on the hysteroscopy, a few women on the RMC thread have had one, and those with issues had them sorted there and then. Might be worth asking about it?

Sorry I've been AWOL, been a bit busy and knackered. Prednisolone is giving me bad insomnia as usual. Finally in our new house!!!! Feels weird, like I can't believe we're really living here.

On IVF news, I'm in for egg collection today. Gulp. Was all geared up for Monday so was a bit taken aback after Wednesday's scan when she told me to take my trigger. Which DCW had taken out of the fridge and put in the coolbox for the move. And we didn't know where the cool box was and it was now 24 hours later. So that meant I had to go back to the clinic after work to pick up another prescription and then drive round trying to find a pharmacy that had it in stock .

At last scan I had 5 follicles that could end up being about the right size. Started with 7 on each side but the little ones didn't get a spurt on so they got left behind.

I had some brown gunk yesterday, that in quantity, could have been start of the droid but not the right colour...and even that has completely stopped now

This is fucking surrealistic. Wanting the droid to arrive (when I have been dreading her for years) so I can go through a very invasive and uncomfortable test so they can (maybe) find an infection or something.

5 eggs. I cried and whimpered and sucked the gas and air all the way through. Left my dignity well and truly behind. Fucking painful again, and awake throughout again. Only just managed to stop crying after they lay me down under a blanket and gave me hot chocolate and biscuits. Quite upset that the pain was even worse than last time but they got only 5 eggs when last time we got 9.
Just waiting for the embryologist to come and speak to us now.

Yay for the eggs but sorry for the pain Barking. They put us to sleep at reprofit, which I was terrified of but I imagine is probably easier (apparently as they returned me to my bed I was shouting at Mr B to go and give his sample otherwise they'd use donor sperm! )

I am actually doubting the droid. If I get red blood coming out my vagina (as opposed to brown spotting), on the day when I am due, and accompanied by cramps and that weird feelingon my legs... it must be the droid, right? God, it is like being 12 years old all over again (and thank fuck I did not know back then what lied ahead!)

I'm rubbish at droid stuff Erica, I'm more clueless now than when I was 12! Do you usually have any pre/mid cycle bleeding?
