Night great idea to have a scan before you go off on your hols. Hopefully it will reassure you and you can relax a bit.

Mummy and night it definitely does depend how close you are to people to tell them your news. We told both sets of family with DD and told friends and work after the first scan. Fx we get to do the same again.

In response to your previous question miss I have a blood test booked in for July 15th and my dating scan is august 13th! Got one wedding to get thru! DH and I have already fooled everyone at one event by swapping glasses... He drank for two and I was fake drinking!! Great tactic for those who are struggling. I'm renound for my love of the fizz... So it would be game over if I turned down as glass!

haha thats a good tactic wish bet he liked that! ... my first MW appt is on the 10th july when im 11w5d so that's when ill have my first blood test.. and my 12w scan should be a few days later mw said just gtta wait and see

Good luck for tomorrow night I have a weekend in with DS while DP goes to a concert. We are going to eat Burker king, popcorn & icecream and go to bed late because DP isn't here with all of his rules

Haha @ woohoo for vomit Hayley, don't think there are many situations that that can be said! How much longer until you POAS? I've found a new way to help speed on the tww... learning to drive and building your family tree. Been so engrossed the last couple of days have flown!

Good tactic for the wedding there Wish. Going to have to use that one this weekend - got a family meal tonight and a wedding tomorrow. Shots usually happen with this particular group of friends, so it's going to be difficult to get away with it!

Bean is alive and well :) only 7+1 so didn't see much but did see heart beat :) definitely not ecoptic so that's a relief. Midwife said she could see nothing to cause concern :)

That's great news night! Now you can relax and enjoy your holiday and eat for two!

Mummy how many sticks have you peed on so far? Any news?

Is it safe to drink in the tww?? I'm not a big drinker anyway but I know I'm going to be offered some wine or cocktails this week and it would be nice to have one or two.

I drank in the tww wait hayley and it doesn't seem to have caused any problems. Wouldn't recommend getting completely wasted but a drink or two will be fine :)
