Had spotting and bleeding after sex on Sunday. Not entirely sure what's going on! Holding out hope!!

Southy lovely to see you too. I am ok, 4 weeks post mc now (just past my would have been 12 weeks hurdle on Sunday). 7DPO with high temps - unusual for me, it did dip down just after ov but back up and staying high so fx!!

I have started feeling really nauseous. I started last night when I went out in the car and came on again this morning on my drive to work. I had terrible car sickness during the very early stages of my last pregnancy so I am soooooo hoping I'll get my BFP at the weekend. Did another POAS this morning and it was a BFP but hoping its still too early.

Thank you Francois . I am assuming you meant it was a BFN?? My last pregnancy, my first symptom was a wave of nausea in my hot car one afternoon. Fx for you too x

How many dpo are you Francois?

I'm all over the place! I haven't been temping as I was pretty sure I knew when I ov'd....but thennnn... I had a huge amount of goop ewcm almost a week BEFORE my ov date... assumed that I ov'd early, but then had even more ewcm less goopy around what I thought was my actual ov date.

DTD both times I had them so Fx! If I did ov the second lot of ewcm then I'm 3dpo, but if I did when I had the goop big amount of ewcm then I'm 7dpo. Af is due on 4th July so I think the safest bet is to wait until then to poas. Have been having really dizzy spells for a few days. Even fainted twice

hayley sounds wise waiting until your later test date. I am 7DPO, can't wait to POAS as I bought 30 of them after my mc and love poas! Had a sharp pain on RHS this morning, hoping it is a good sign.

Mummy Could be implanting pains - I would say it's a good sign! You're halfway through the tww already! Do you think you will be able to hold of poas for another week, or is the temptation already eating at you?

hayley I am a POAS addict, I once POAS at 5DPO!! But I got my BFP at 12DPO last cycle so am hoping to hold out until at least 10DPO. These are on my calculations, FF thinks I am 9 DPO but they are being stupid. But just because FF tells me that, I might poas in the next few days because I am tempted...

Hayley - can we talk goop please?! What does EWCM stand for? Mine has usually been there bang on the predicted ovulation days on my calendar for the past 3 cycles. This month though it was about a week after...I now think I've ovulated late and therefore period could be late? And now there's more goop today but I'm due on Wed next week. God knows what's going on there. We've been DTD every 2 days so hopefully it will be ok anyway...just a little disconcerting when it's been so regular before. Hope the dizzy spells pass quickly!

Mummy You know your body better than a silly app! See if you can hold out til 10dpo and if that's negative it isn't the end of the world...there will still be time!

Pickled EWCM is Egg White Cervical Mucus... the discharge you get in your knickers when you ovulate. It changes colour and consistency depending on where you are in you cycle. When it looks like egg whites is supposed to be when your are ovulating.

My odd ''goop'' was totally out of whack for anywhere in my cycle and I'd never seen it before. It was (TMI warning) almost snotty looking....yellow/white and thick and goopy. Has yours been similar? Maybe it's a good sign? Or maybe it's wishful thinking lol I'm in the same boat as you! I have been regular forEVER and this is our first cycle TTC and it's all over the place!

pickledEWCM is Egg White Cervical Mucus. There was a page shared on here a while back showing all the different types of CM - you can google it if you're feeling brave! Fertile CM can come around ovulation time but it is also normal to have some in the TWW, whether prgnant or not. Not very helpful I know but if you are so regular and haven't been under any stress/new meds then you should have ov'd as normal.

hayley I had some snot like, couldy greenish EWCM the month I got my BFP. Hope snotty CM is a good sign for you too!!

hayley I am 11 dpo today. AF is due on Saturday. I know I should hold off but POAS is a bit like pringles Once you've P'd you just can't stop!

Mummy Really?!?! I will keep my fingers very firmly crossed then!! I didn't know you could get the ewcm during ''normal'' time, so maybe that's what is happening with me...food for thought

Francois I would be finding it hard not to as well! You must have great self control to not be testing daily at this point in your cycle. Only a few more days til you can officially pee on something! Did you use a frer for your BFN?

Ooh so excited for those due to piss on a stick in the next few days/next week. I have my fx for you all.

I didn't do an opk and get a huge temp rise today, typical! Hopefully I have ov but will keep dtd eod until it is confirmed.

hayley it was a clear blue digital I had one left from before, I pulled it apart afterwards and saw a second faint line but having googled that is apparently always the case in a digital and means nothing which sucks.

I am going away tomorrow for our wedding anniversary to deepest darkest Devon on the outskirts of Dartmoor and there is no mobile or wifi signal where we are staying so I won't be able to update you all until I am back. I shall be taking some sticks with me to pee on - how romantic

Hopefully my next post to you all next Tuesday will be a happy one! I hope I come back to lots of other BFP's on the thread

Aha EWCM it is then! Defo sounds more appealing than goop! :) Thank you all for the explanation. It's good to know it's normal to come in the TWW and that it may even be a good sign :)

Trying very hard not to get hopes up every month but it's so hard isn't it & it's not even been that long yet!

Pickled I would do the same. If it's negative he doesn't need to know, but if it's a BFP he's gotta be part of that!

If I do get to the point where I need to poas, and I use the Clear Blue, is there anyway to know if it is a true positive?? It's the one with the + not a digital and I know now that they are very unreliable! Should I still pee on them or should I just throw them and waste £10 and get a FR?

Pretty sure false positives are very rare hayley! False negatives much more common.
