i went to 2 parties one weekend after another in the 2ww and i was definitely pregnant looking back at the dates .. and i must admit the second time it was the most drunk ive ever been as i kinda gave up ttc...everything seems fine with my little blob don't worry x

Hayley I feel for you that is forever away. My POAS day is next Sunday, (and that will be early I think - should be the Wednesday really) so I'll be right behind you!

I passed my theory test on Friday, so I'm getting there! Trying to get my licence before my sister's baby comes so that I can get myself over there (so DH doesn't have to) as my family live a couple of hours away.

No celebrities as such. I did find a record for my great grandfather that was interesting. My Mum's parents were Italian and during ww2 my great grandfather was part of the resistance (he was the chief of police in Nanto, Italy) and was actually put in and died in a concentration camp. That's it with claim to fame currently - DH's tree is much more interesting!

I think it's definitely fine to drink in the tww. I have read week 1 is a 'free week' as the egg hasn't implanted yet and I would assume that in week 2 as the umbilical cord is only developing very little alcohol would get to baby. I'm just over cautious and have been stopping drinking while TTC so people get used to me saying no without giving the game away .

I'm having a scan tomorrow at exactly 6 weeks. I'm not feeling too optimistic tho as I had a bleed yesterday evening which completely freaked me out!!! Been feeling very nauseous since. Not actually being sick tho, but I'm worried it's because I'm so churned up with nerves! Please all keep your fingers crossed for me! I'm so sad

i had 2 bleeds and my scan showed my little healthy blob.. yours will too!! .. bleeds can mean so many other things then miscarriages our mind makes us think the worst xx take care and rest up xx

Well AF rocked up today meaning I had an 18 day cycle

oh that's very short isn't it dizzy how long is it usually?

It's usually between 27 and 31 days. Mother Nature is being very cruel!

Well i tested today at 9dpo and got bfn :/

Who's next to try? I'm on Saturday but I guess I'm not technically late til Sunday so FX AF backs the eff away from us all! Working from home this week so will be enjoying the sun if the weatherman is to be trusted Anyone have anything very exciting to share?

Hayley I peed on 3 sticks, all BFN, then had spotting for the last 2 days and AF arrived today But onwards and upwards out of the wtf cycle, at least now I know when I am going to ov and don’t have to guess too much! Just hoping the wtf AF isn’t as painful as everyone says!! A few drinks will be fine, I drank like a fish with DS until I found out at 8+ weeks and he is perfect (althought obviously not recommended!)

Sorry Mummy :( You're right though. At least you know when you ovulate now so you have a better chance next cycle. I hope it's not too painful for you.

It is definitely AF but at least I didn't get too stress and worry about it this month as it caught me by surprise!

Hello ladies, scan was ok although they could only see what you'd expect at 6 weeks, a yolk sac. I saw a tiny flicker in the sac every now and then. They had to go inside to see as it turns out I have a tilted uterus. Although they almost always have to go in at 6 weeks. They measured it and will scan and re-measure in 10 days. So still in limbo. However they said to remain positive and they will confirm viability next week if it has significantly grown... So fx. I'm feeling a bit better that there was something there! Phew!

Hayley, I ov on CD13/14 and love to be prepared and have a plan – couldn’t stand the wtf cycle and the ended DTDing!

wish it is a shame they didn’t do bloods and retake them in 2 days – that would give you your answer. HB is very hard to see at 6 weeks so don’t panic and they are right to tell you to remain positive! I am sure everything will be fine

i know that doctors usually say dtd every 2-3 days but i conceived on cycle 3 which is the only cycle where we dtd everyday since cd 5 for i think 15 or 16 days .. and wa-la bfp.. the 2 cycles before i was just dtd around the time i thought ov was ( using opks) which were unsuccessful.. dtd everyday isnt very 'fun' dp was not impressed on some days but we persisted haha. .. sorry for af ladies. . BFP next cycle!! FX & TX x

Aww wish that's great news that you have a little bean there! FX for you hunni.. hopefully next scan will show alot more as the baby is only tiny at this stage so baba will be doing some growing in the next 10 days x

Hello ladies I'm back from an amazing romantic weekend away. Nothing exciting to report though. AF was due Saturday but no sign of anything yet but I POAS on Fri, Sat, Sun and today and all BFN so I think I may just be late this cycle.
