I'm sure nobody will mind southy.

hayleycookie · 10/09/2015 10:22

I've just popped back here to see how everyone has been getting on and have to say HUGE congratulations Southy!! I literally beamed at my laptop when I saw your pictures! Well done to you both!!

Southy84 · 11/09/2015 05:47

Thank you hayley :) :) how are you doing? x

hayleycookie · 11/09/2015 09:37

Good thank you Southy :) Sickness has finally eased down, and I'm 14 weeks now! Time seems to be flying, and dragging at the same time. Are you having any symptoms yet?

Mummyofonesofar · 11/09/2015 10:09

glitter lovely that your DH2b arranged a quick scan and you got to hear the heartbeat. At my private one I am sure I heard it for a few seconds but then she switched the sound off and I didn??t want to sound silly asking if that was the HB.

CarrotV good luck for your scan today!

MissM I love your nursery ?? how perfect Smile

SOUTHY!!!! I am absolutely over the moon for you!!! Best news I have seen all week!

Southy84 · 11/09/2015 15:28

That's great news hayley I think that's flown by! I'm waking up at 5:30 every morning needing the loo, then can't get back to sleep. I get to the afternoon and feel like a zombie. Still getting on and off stomach cramps (not too bad though now) and a on off nausea. Oh and dreaded thrush Blush which happened last time too.

Thank you mummy Grin I don't feel as much of a nervous wreck as I thought id be, I'm not quite sure it's real and keep getting an urge to buy more tests.... I did two blue dye ones and a digi but I think its the blue dye ones that worry me as they aren't as dark and I know they are more prone to Evaps, silly I know. How are you doing? x

Mummyofonesofar · 11/09/2015 15:52

I stopped testing on ICs at around 7 weeks so know how you feel! But unless you have bleeding I wouldn't worry (I found myself wondering if the lines were darker than the last lot and getting myself worked up!).

I am doing really well, 10 weeks now, struggled with feeling sick and tired but they said I would do with twins, only been sick a handful of times which I feel very lucky for, it's mostly bad nausea which causes trouble when trying to eat enough. My next scan is 22nd, have told most people now, just distant friends "the public" (on facebook) who don't know.

Southy84 · 11/09/2015 19:43

I think I may go and buy another test for the morning Blush I go on my holiday tomorrow and trying not to panic. Not long to go Til your scan :) it's so amazing you are having twins, sorry to hear you've been feeling rough though. Are you going to find out what you are having?

DizzyMerry · 11/09/2015 20:19

I did 7 tests southy just to be sure! GP thinks I've got thrush too just waiting for my swab and urine results, which should be in by Monday.

Hayley yay to sickness easing.

I've only been sick about 3 times but the feeling of it has been terrible. It seems to have eased off now though at 10 weeks. Think it's to do with the placenta taking over around this time which is said to help.

Southy84 · 11/09/2015 22:03

My dh thinks 3 is bad enough merry hehe, if I could get away with it id buy more! Oh no for the devil thrush, it's not good at all, I've got the dreaded pessary.... So annoying! I've had a couple of quesy moments but to be honest I want as many symptoms as poss, hopefully that wil stop me worrying so much. I'm calm on one hand and terrified on the other

DizzyMerry · 11/09/2015 22:50

Symptoms will kick in soon southy. Mine started into the 6th week. I only did 7 as that's what I had, well DH got FRER and CB and I had some IC's so thought I may as well use them all!

Mummyofonesofar · 12/09/2015 07:45

southy I will absolutely be finding out, I can't imagine two babies arriving and both being a surprise! I think I need to be prepared! Especially if it's two girls, I won't know what to do with them!

MissSMartin · 12/09/2015 15:27

DizzyMerry · 12/09/2015 16:00

Beautiful pic miss. So pleased all is going well for you.

Mummyofonesofar · 12/09/2015 16:23

Great pic, enjoy your 4d one x

CarrotVan · 12/09/2015 17:57

Southy I tested daily until I ran out of ICs (around 7 weeks...) you've a long way to go before you're in arms length of crazy. I'm still without symptoms at 8+5 (by lmp)

Congratulations MissM. I had a 3d scan at about 30 wks with DS and it was amazing

My scan yesterday was fine, measured 8+1 which is 3 days smaller than my lmp dates suggest but that's nothing at this stage. Growing nicely - now 16.8mm up from 3.2mm 2.5 weeks ago. I'm very tired and headachy. MrVan's mental health is precarious at the moment, work is one crisis after another and DS is really full on all of which is putting me under a lot of stress

Southy84 · 12/09/2015 18:41

Do you already have a girl mummy? I know a lot of people that have found out second time round, I do like surprises but totally understand why you'd lkke to know :)

Thank you miss what an amazing scan photo! Glad your little girl is growing nicely x

Fantastic news carrot I'm so glad everything's going well for you, must be such a relief.

I've had a pretty bad day, woke up with shooting pains in my right side of my stomach so spent hours in a&e before being sent to our local maternity hospital back to the word I was on when we had our mmc, it was horrific and I cried so much my face and eyes hurt. They cant do a scan as they don't have the facilities to at the weekend so they did a exam which was all ok, I had blood tests too which came back as 1215.7 and I'm 4+6 and they seemed to think this was fine, they said they want me back at the epu first thing mon for another blood test to see if my levels have risen and they won't scan Til they are over 2000 as apparently they won't see anything before this point. Oh and we've missed our flight so holiday has been cancelled... They also said I wasn't to go away. The only thing I'm grateful for is pain has eased slightly, Dr was happy the pain didn't seem consistent with an ectopic but they've said they can't rule it out yet. Feel like I'm on another planet, feel sleep deprived and so anxious, I'm hoping so much for good news Monday

Mummyofonesofar · 12/09/2015 20:30

Oh southy you poor thing, those levels do sounds great, stay positive, though I know it must be hard. Fingers crossed for Monday. Sorry about your holiday too but I'm sure that's the last thing on your mind right now. I had some bleeding this time and everything is ok, plus I think usually they can tell if it's a suspected mc from the examination. I know the 48 HR wait is horrendous, try to rest until then lovely.

I have a DS already, wouldn't know what to do with girls!

Southy84 · 12/09/2015 21:53

To be honest I feel relieved to have been in the UK when this happened and not abroad. I'm just going to do nothing tomorrow and hope it goes quickly. This first 3 months is hell :(

You will be fab with girls, You'll surprise yourself I'm sure :) I'm excited to hear what you are having x

DizzyMerry · 12/09/2015 23:05

Your levels are great southy. Never mind the holiday it can wait for another time and It's great you're in the UK getting the right support you need. Wishing away tomorrow for you and fx for Monday. Get plenty of rest.

You'll be fab with girls mummy I just know it Smile

Southy84 · 13/09/2015 06:03

Thank you merry currently awake feeling sick. Hopefully that's a good sign. Hope you're having a nice weekend

DizzyMerry · 13/09/2015 23:15
