Wow!!!! ...... 7pm and CBeebies bedtime story has just finished, Jayden's drank his milk and also had a biscuit.... I've just looked over at him and he's FAST ASLEEP!! Grin yay!! Off to put him in his bed now! Can't wait to sit with a cup of tea and some chocolate! :D

zombiemeow · 08/07/2015 19:14

Yayyyyy hope he sleeps through for you cupcake Smile

No chance of my ds doing that. He's lucky he's so bloody cute.

He's got a girlfriend now too. He met my friends dd and they just lay next to each other holding hands

Cupcake92 · 08/07/2015 19:54

I spoke too soon Ducky :/ he's awake now

zombiemeow · 08/07/2015 20:44

Oh no cupcake Confused I hope he goes to sleep for you soon!

Lillamyy1 · 08/07/2015 22:08

When you know what sling you want Cupcake you could find one on this great second hand sling Facebook group m.facebook.com/groups/424939817596765?ref=bookmarks
It's where I got mine Grin Even if you can't see the kind you want being advertised if you put up an ad saying what you want someone will probably get in touch.

Lillamyy1 · 08/07/2015 22:08

Off to bed now but will catch up with last 24hrs or so of the thread during the night feeds!

Cupcake92 · 08/07/2015 22:39

It's been an absolute nightmare since he woke up :( every time I've gone to put him in bed he's screamed and cried so much like he's scared of something. I can't get him to lie down in his bed or anything. Even if I let him drop off and put him in bed when he's asleep he wakes up instantly and screams.
:( I can't keep doing this I rele can't. Just wish he was like all other children and go to bed at a good time, fall asleep in his own bed, and stay asleep all night. He's constantly in my bed or I'm having to take him downstairs as he's so worked up.
Just don't know what I'm doing wrong :(

And thanks Lill :) a sling will rele rele come in handy for me

LuluJakey1 · 08/07/2015 22:47

I wish I knew what to suggest Cupcake. You must be exhausted and just need a bit of space for yourself.

DS has been very clingy today, wanting to be carried all day and I plonked him on DH when he got home. I just wanted my body to myself for a while with no one touching me or demanding anything.

Ds has only just gone to bed Hmm Hopefully to sleep. He is supposed to be going to the concert at DH's school tomorrow night. I said I would take him. It is over by 8.

Lillamyy1 · 09/07/2015 03:06

Oh dear sound like everyone's been having a very tiring time with their wakeful DSs. There must be a conspiracy because mine's been a
real clingy fusspot as well
Angry

Lillamyy1 · 09/07/2015 06:25

Well I take back what I said! DS only had one feed in the night and the other time he woke up I just popped his dummy in and he went back to sleep! All the fussy feeding in the day must have filled him up Smile
Cupcake, I'm looking forward to meeting up with you and Tori in a couple of weeks Grin

zombiemeow · 09/07/2015 07:42

Cupcake, I don't know much about it but could it be night terrors?

We had another AWFUL night last night. Ds went to sleep at 8, woke up a couple of times before I went to bed at 10.30, then he woke up at 1 - 3.30 and was wide awake, I fed him to sleep in the end Confused then he was just constantly waking up until he woke up for the day at 5 Confused I'm so tired Sad

Bearsinmotion · 09/07/2015 09:00

Just wish he was like all other children and go to bed at a good time, fall asleep in his own bed, and stay asleep all night. He's constantly in my bed or I'm having to take him downstairs as he's so worked up.
Just don't know what I'm doing wrong

Err, I don't think all other children do this! DD is often up until 9, and only sleeps straight through in our bed (or at my sister's house Hmm)! If it helps cupcake, I've been finding life with toddler plus baby so much easier than pregnant plus toddler!

I'm the worst sleeper in this house at the moment! DP was out last night, I was in bed at 9 but still awake when DP got home at 11. Then he woke DS up Angry. Then DS woke himself up at 1 and again about 3. DD and DP slept all night!

Bearsinmotion · 09/07/2015 09:12

I agree with cupcake about chicken pox - DD had it twice Hmm, the first time she was under 1. She was grumpy before the spots arrived but then absolutely fine and didn't scratch at all. Second time at 18 months was a bit more trouble, but I had to take her out of nursery for a week and she had a lovely time playing in the garden!

Cupcake92 · 09/07/2015 17:04

Lulu I do need a bit of space for myself lol! I've set a date with my manager today for when I go on Mat leave. 3rd September will be my last day :) then DS starts nursery on the 8th September so I'll actually get some time all to myself for a good month.

Lill well done to ur DS for sleeping!! Grin and yes will be good to meet up! I'm sure all our children will love meeting each other haha :)

Ducky I thought about night terrors! It could possibly be that. He was shaking when he woke up. I hope ur DS sleeps well tonight!

Bears Grin I'm hoping baby and a toddler so easier to deal with as I can't do a lot when pg!

LuluJakey1 · 09/07/2015 23:14

DS has been to his first evening social occasion tonight- a school musical show. He was very good - bemused at times but good. Had a wobbly bottom lip when the trumpets started but fine apart from that. Very sociable at the interval. Grin Fell asleep in the second half in DH's arms but didn't seem bothered by the noise.

Then we got home and he has been wide awake and crawling everywhere. We caught him at the bottom of the stairs Hmm Time for stairgates.

Is now tucked up in bed after some baby rice and his feed. Hoping he sleeps well. Was up at 5 this morning.

He seems so well behaved Lulu :)
My ds was up at 5am this morning, but he's eaten breakfast and had his milk and has fallen asleep again!!

I was told to have my hospital bag packed for 30 weeks, just incase of early labour again, so the midwife said. I'm 30 week in August so need to start buying stuff for my hospital bag!! :D yay! Haha
Any suggestions from u all on what I could rele do with that I might not think of?

So far I've wrote a list....
My bag;
disposable pants (asda)
• maternity pads (a lot of!) (asda)
• 2x Nighties (primark)
• slippers and dressing gown
• breast pads and cream

• 1 pair of pjs
• make up bag
• toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, tooth paste, tooth brush, hair brush)
• towel

• pillow
• money/purse

Anything else?

Then baby's bag;

• small changing mat
• Muslims
• going home outfit

zombiemeow · 10/07/2015 13:25

Another bad night here Sad waiting for a call back from drs now though, doubt she will have anything to say Hmm

Cupcake I loved packing! I'm on my phone so can't remember if you have these things but, what about Vaseline? I put it on ds bum as soon as I got him back and the orrible black poo came off very easily Grin.

I've completely forgot, let me go look at your list again!

zombiemeow · 10/07/2015 13:28

I think you got it all! What about a book or magazines or something incase you are induced/have an epidural etc Smile

Oooohhh what about straws so you can drink easily? I loved that idea, took them with me and forgot about them Grin

My brain isn't working off such little sleep!

Cupcake92 · 10/07/2015 17:08

Straws are a brilliant idea! :)
I won't be induced as had a csection so they said I'm not allowed to be induced. So it's go into labour on my own or it's a csection.
:(

I'll put straws and vasaline down ! :)

LuluJakey1 · 10/07/2015 17:47

DH added music, a quiz book Hmm and magazines to mine- which he entertained himself with and drove me mad with quiz questions. I took my own pillow and some face wipes and a hair dryer and a can of evian water to spray on my face.
I can't think of anything you missed for the baby but I only took 3 of all the clothing things and no cotton wool.

DS isn't good all the time Cupcake- he was up at 5 yesterday and half 5 today and wideawake both times. Today he has been all over the garden, I took my eye off him and he got down the side of the shed- I have had to block it off. He was hysterical and filthy and took half an hour to calm down.
Then he got his hands in the cat food and in the end I bathed him which caused more tears. He is now in the conservatory tring to get past the fireguard I have put across the door way and is shouting.

When DH comes home he can have him!

OP posts:
Bearsinmotion · 10/07/2015 17:48

You might want to add some muslins. Not sure what the Muslims will do Grin.

I was going to say squash as I hate drinking water but you've got that one! Also biscuits. Who is your birth partner? Will they eat all your biscuits like my DP did need anything?

I also had dried apricots to ahem help things along Blush

LuluJakey1 · 10/07/2015 17:48

And I only took one little blanket to put over him in his car seat.

OP posts:
zombiemeow · 10/07/2015 17:59

GrinGrinGrin Bears!! That made me laugh!

Dr called, she was shocked. He's going in Monday (she did offer today but we couldnt make it) she wanted to rule out colic/reflux etc. if she can't find anything she wants to talk to me about putting him on something 'to calm him down' Sad so upset.

LuluJakey1 · 10/07/2015 18:15

What did she mean Ducky? 'Something to calm him down'? A tranquiliser or something? Surely not. That does not sound right to me. Now you will worry all weekend. Flowers

zombiemeow · 10/07/2015 18:31

I have no idea Hmm I won't be going for it though. Id much rather sit it out, although I can count on one hand how many hours sleep I've had te past few days. I feel like I've done something wrong, I must have done for him to be like this. Then I worry what if he has something else wrong with him, at his baby group they all sit there calmy, he goes nuts and is all over the place Hmm
