Aw well hopefully then Ducky ur DS is almost better :)
N yes it's busy but because u book a time slot there's only certain amount of people allowed In at a time so it's not busy when in the winter wonderland.

It is good bears because Santa is sometimes there too :)

I was exhausted yesterday. I've not felt that tired in a long long time. I just Couldn't wait to go to sleep. My stomach and pelvis were in so much pain I cried when I lay down tho :( can't take much more of my pelvis being this way, it's so so painful.
Just got to get through this next week, then I have my appt week after, I'm going to beg them to induce me the week after my appt as I'll be 38 on the Friday the week after it. I'll beg them to bring me in that Friday! I don't think I can cope much longer

LuluJakey1 · 26/09/2015 20:53

Hello everyone. I am catching up with the thread. I thought it was heading to a labour and birth there Cupcake.
Hello Sunny. It never crossed my mind anyone else read this stuff except us. Very nice to meet you.
I am just knackered. DH is working so hard and we have had the builders in and managing DS, two cats- each shut in a separate bedroom because they don't like each other that much- and having no sitting room because one is full of stuff from the other one, has been a nightmare. We have been managing in a cluttered dining room, the kitchen and DS's bedroom during the day. I have been taking him out to SILs.
This weekend DH is doing no work. We have been out for a long walk on the beach and had lunch. Tomorrow he is taking DS swimming so I can get the kitchen straightened up. We should be back to normal by the end of the week. We are both tired. DH is asleep in a chair. I am watching Gavin and Stacey with a throw over me. Life on the edge! Saturday night used to be our big night out - or big night in.
DS is worn out from playing on the beach.

It is so close now Cupcake. You must be really excited are you? Is DS excited?

Cupcake92 · 26/09/2015 21:07

Hi Lulu so nice to hear from u! :)
Sounds like uve had a hectic time :( glad uve both managed to do something nice this weekend and DH is taking a break from working! Bet ull be glad once everything straightened up and back to normality again. How's DS doing?
And yes Lulu it's very close to d day now! I'm really excited but also very relieved it's almost over as I've been in quite a bit of pain the last few days. My belly seems to have dropped even further which seems impossible but it has! DS is excited too, he's starting to understand more now and knows his brother is coming out my belly soon :) he keeps stroking my belly saying 'aw baby come' haha :)

LuluJakey1 · 26/09/2015 21:23

That is very cute- DS doing that. Smile

Our DS is fine. He is walking holding onto things- so will walk alng the floor at the side of the sofa or the coffee table if he can hang on. Just overbalances if he can't. He plays peepo with us and lves it if we do songs with actions. He has loads of energy at the minute and is eating like a small horse. Grin

zombiemeow · 26/09/2015 21:52

Yayyyy lulu your back! What are you having done to your house? Ds walks holding on to things but sometimes slips so has a good few bruises on his head!

Cupcake that's so cute about ds! What's the plan for when you go into labor? Will dm pick him up? Or stay at yours?

LuluJakey1 · 26/09/2015 22:46

Hello Ducky. We are having the extension turned into a room with a glass roof and two glass walls. It will be lovely as it opens onto the garden and is about 18ft by 14 so lots of space but it has made the house a tip at the moment. DS will love it because it will be a huge space for him to play in the winter. He has bruises too Ducky. So have I at the moment because I fell down the stairs the other day and banged my knee and thigh and arm and cheekbone. Grin I was crying and DS got scared and he cried too.

OP posts:
zombiemeow · 26/09/2015 22:54

Sounds lovely Smile hope your feeling ok after falling down the stairs Shock I often get a bit Blush about taking ds out as he has 4 bruises all across his forehead.

Cupcake92 · 27/09/2015 01:07

Aw both ur DS are getting clever Lulu and Ducky!! :)
And ouch Lulu falling down the stairs is not nice! :(

Ducky, my DS scratched his face a lot as his nails grow so fast n he isn't too keen on me cutting them, I get a bit Blush when I take him out when he's got a scratch lol!

DS has woken up already and is in my bed. :( I've had about enough with this pain now. I've just burst into tears because it was too painful trying to sit up then walk over to DS's room, pick him up and walk back to my room and put him in my bed.
It's too sore :( I don't know what to do anymore. I'm sat here in bed DS is now asleep next to me but I'm too scared to lie back down due to all the pain :( :(
I know if I get my 38 week induction I've only got 3 weeks left but 3 weeks is still a long time trying to sleep every night :(

And Ducky dm isn't sure what she wants to do, she said she'll decide at the time if she stays at mine with DS or goes to hers. Either way DS will be happy :)

zombiemeow · 27/09/2015 10:15

Their nails grow so fast! Ds hates having his cut too.

That's crap about the pain Thanks I never knew it could get so bad. Is your belt still helping in the day?

Cupcake92 · 27/09/2015 20:41

Ducky I can only wear the belt when I go out for long periods, like doing a food shop or going round town, but I'm in that much pain I don't go out far anymore and I sit down most the time. I'm not allowed the belt on when I'm sat down or when driving.
Pain is deffo at its worst.
I've eaten a vindaloo tonight! I'm desperate to go into labour, can't hack this for much longer m.

zombiemeow · 27/09/2015 20:54

You poor thing cupcake. You know you could always tell them you want an induction, it is your choice. They were going to induce me at 36 weeks after I had a full on meltdown they actually rang me after my mom called the midwife and to go straight in for induction at 10 at night. Blush

LuluJakey1 · 27/09/2015 21:03

Oh Cupcake, that's awful. You are just going to have to try and carry on as long as possible. Does anything ease it? Will it just go once he is born?

OP posts:
LuluJakey1 · 27/09/2015 21:08

Would a massage help? Or swimming?

Cupcake92 · 27/09/2015 21:11

My problem is that to be induced I need to be dilated to 1cm at least because apparently I can't have the pessary due to my csection.
I think they said I'd have my waters broken and put on a drip and to do that I need to be at least 1cm. I wasn't dilated at all last week, and cervix still rele long :/

Omg ducky they were gonna let u go straight down and be induced?? I wish it was that easy for me! Grin

Lulu nothing eases it at all rele. I tried the soak in the bath idea but panicked when I had to get out as I rele couldn't get out Grin
And I can remember as soon as I had DS I felt instant relief so I'm hoping for the same this time round.

Cupcake92 · 27/09/2015 21:13

Lulu yes swimming is amazing!!! The pain goes completely when swimming!
But it's the getting out the pool and trying the attempt to get changed and dry in a small changing room Grin

LuluJakey1 · 27/09/2015 21:19

I used to lie in the bath and keep topping it up for ages and then turn onto my hands and knees to get out because I could not haul myself out.

DH has hurt his knee today - he slipped off the kerb. We've had ice packs, heat packs, anti- inflammatories and strapping. Sigh!

Oh no poor DH! He likes to get in the wars doesn't he! Bless! :(

To top things off the hospital have called me literally just now! I had a swab done when I went in the other day with contractions... And I have 'slight thrush' so have a prescription to pick up :/ didn't know I had it, never had it before but I thought thrush was itchy? Or am I wrong Confused cuz I have none of that lol

zombiemeow · 27/09/2015 21:50

Your all in the wars lulu! Hope he feels better soon! Give him a beer, sounds like it cheers him up Smile

Yes cupcake they told me to go down that night, but to be fair I was just sitting on the floor crying thinking the same had happened again. They have to look at how your doing as well as baby, it's your care and you are in charge Smile they also told me they don't do inductions Saturday but I went in Saturday because I said that's what I wanted. Just push for what you feel is best.

sunny825 · 27/09/2015 22:04

Hi lulujakey. I'm sure it's weird knowing other people are reading your thread. I am now hoping there are others out there as I'm feeling like a bit of a stalker nowBlush lol
Sorry to hear you're in so much pain cupcake. I have real pains at night and trying to turn over in bed is an absolute nightmare but nothing compared to what you're going through. I have a gtt tomorrow and am hoping the results come out fine, it's all so worrying. Baby was measuring quite big my last scan.

LuluJakey1 · 27/09/2015 23:17

He likes to have a bit of sympathy. Grin He is fast asleep. He'll be off to work at 7.

I have a tidy (as it can be at the moment) clean house- until tomorrow. I think the chief builder might have a bit of a crush on me. He arrives early and is very helpful and sharey about his life. He has never seen DH and I suspect he thinks I might be available. He is probably a bit shy I think. DS likes him.I have put a couple of photos of DH and me with DS amongst the photos on the dresser. Can't be doing with that.

Cupcake, what about a tens machine?

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 28/09/2015 06:35

Ducky I was told they don't do weekend inductions but with DS I was also in tears in pau to the midwife and said I couldn't take anymore reduce movements n I was booked in on a Sunday Grin
I need to just get this week out the way, so I'm hoping it goes fast. And then I have my appt next week and I rele rele am gonna beg to be induced the week after. Don't think I'm gonna leave until they agree! Lol!

Don't feel like a stalker sunny Grin it's great when new people pop onto the thread :) always nice to have more to talk to.
I hope ur gtt goes well, mine didn't and got diagnosed with gestational diabetes and it rele sucks :( I'm lucky as I'm only diet controlled no meds. But my baby is also measuring big, last scan he was 2 weeks ahead.

Lulu, that made me Grin
It shows u still have it! Wink
U could casually bring DH up in conversation, like 'oh yes my husband likes that too' haha Grin

What exactly is a tens machine Lulu? I thought that's just for labour?

zombiemeow · 28/09/2015 08:50

Hope your gtt goes well sunny Smile

Lulu is he good looking? Grin how long will they be there for?

Cupcake make sure you don't leave until you have what you want! Have they said what they will do for induction? Pessary?

Cupcake92 · 28/09/2015 08:57

I'm not allowed the pessary as its too close to my scar which means I could rupture easier or something they said.
My only induction option is to have my waters broke and straight on a drip.
I'm gonna research other induction options if I'm not dilated so I can go into my appt and say 'actually u can do this to induce me' etc...
But there's no way I'm leaving with out an induction date. No chance!

zombiemeow · 28/09/2015 10:36

That's the spirit cupcake!!! I had my waters broke and went on the drip. I wish someone had told me before you don't have to have an epidural. I was told I HAD to as the pain would come on too fast/strong, but my epi didn't work anyway.
