I am not a nails person- have never had nails ever! I could not be bothered with the faff. I seem completely unmotivated to do anything. TBH, I am sick of anti-depressants. If I go to the Dr, that is what they will give me. I want some time and space to myself.

I am about to go up to the country park by myself and just walk all afternoon. It is sunny but not hot and it will be lovely. I need some fresh air and peace and quiet.

DH is going to SIL's with DS.

I do wonder if I am feeling a bit odd about not going back to work when DH is. I have always been going back to work now.

Sounds awaful Cupcake. I think you are just going to hae to see this hip thing through now- nothing seems to have helped. How many weeks are you?

Lulu I think a walk would probably do u good :)
I wish I was near a beach, to walk along the sand would be so amazingly peaceful for me. I used to Visit mersea Island in Essex and the beach was quiet and practically empty there. It was beautiful. I used to horseride down there too. Would be lovely to go back there.

I hope u have a nice refreshing walk Lulu and clear ur head.

And yeah nothings helped my hips, baby has dropped head down and is in my pelvis so it's made it worse. I'm 31 weeks now. Not too long t go hopefully

zombiemeow · 30/08/2015 19:16

Hope your feeling better after your walk lulu.

And I hope you get instant relief for your hips once ds is born cupcake :-)

I'm being a bit slow on here as I am used to the app so it's all confusing!

Ds was so tired, I got him to sleep now he's wide awake, still tired so I'm sat in his room.

H was texting me while I was here having a go at me because I put one of his CDs in the wrong case now he's stropped off out somewhere. Bet he'll be in a foul mood when he gets back.

LuluJakey1 · 30/08/2015 20:03

The walk was lovely. I only saw about 3 other people. I walked round the big lake then down through the wood, along the back of the dunes on the track through the reedbeds to the smaller lake which has lots of reeds and birds in them. The smell of the reeds is great and it was sunny and almost silent, apart from birds. There are otters there and I sat for a while but never saw any.
But then I had to come home and I didn't want to come home Sad I just felt like I was coming back to somewhere where people want things off me.
Anyway, DH was still at SIL's so I had an hour to myself. He is back and is bathing DS who looks tired so may be he will have his milk and porridge and go to bed early. He is a good sleeper.
We're having tomato soup and cheese on toast for tea and chocolate brownies and ice cream after. I can't be bothered with anything else.
I don't know why I am feeling like this because DH does loads for me and DS and I love them both to bits. My mum has been on my mind and I've been thinking about how people have families around then and I just miss her. DH's family are lovely but they are his family.
Ducky, surely DH won't be bothered over a CD. Hope DS sleeps tonight and you get some proper rest.
Cupcake - 9 weeks is a long time to put up with that. Can your mum or ex help out a bit more?

Oh lulu, I really feel for you. You are so strong to be where you are now. Is it coming up to an important date? Birthday? Anniversary? Etc?

Sending you love and hope this passes soon x

zombiemeow · 30/08/2015 22:04

--I'm rubbish with words-

LuluJakey1 · 30/08/2015 22:13

Thanks Ducky. That's nice of you. No it's not coming up to an anniversary or anything, I just feel crap. DH has been lovely tonight - he found me cuddling DS after he'd had his milk and had snuggled in, and I was crying. He was so lovely and he made me a big G and T and we've had a cuddle but I just feel such a misery and I don't like myself. My mum would be annoyed with me and be telling me to make the most of everything and be happy. She was a real life-enhancer.

Let's hope we all get a good sleep and tomorrow seems better.

Oh ducky I'm certain I'll get instant relief after birth. I remember with DS it was Instant, (might be because I was on morphine I'm not sure! Grin )
How did DS get on last night in the end?
As for H he's being silly! Why do they moan about the littlest things!!
ExH text me this morning. My cousin works where he works and he's pestering me to call her and see if she'll come in to work early so he can go home as he's 'feeling sick' which I doubt he is! It's just cuz he's working on his day off Hmm hence why I've got DS. Told him I'm not asking her as she's already got extra shifts to work. So of course he's moaning at me and it's my fault Hmm
It's like I'm still looking after another child!

Lulu I hope u start to feel more like urself again soon. And if u went to the docs and said u don't want meds they can give u other options. Like they may suggest yoga classes, or meditation techniques. Maybe even some essential oils.
Search on google some natural remedies to help depressions and anxiety.
Make a time each day and set that as ur own down time to do one of the remedies. (Maybe when DS is having a nap)
Big hugs to u Lulu Flowers

I did ask my mom to help and today I'm going over to see her and we are taking DS to a soft play where I'm able to sit down and he goes off and plays by himself and the other children. She's buying me some lunch there too :) should be nice.

Cupcake92 · 31/08/2015 09:02

Guys I'm rele worried.
I've not rele felt baby move a lot since last night when I went to bed.
I had a ton of braxton hicks before bed that were extremely tight and I've not felt movement all morning until now. But he's not kicked he's only moved very slightly.
Should I call up the midwife? :s
I've just eaten an ice pop too see if it'd make him move but like I said he only move a very slight bit.

LuluJakey1 · 31/08/2015 09:43

Ring up just to be on the safe side Cupcake. You will only worry if you don't. Try not to worry- he is probably having a snooze after all the BH. But ring up.

Hope you have already called up Mac cupcake. Definitely worth getting checked over, that's what they're there for.

Cupcake92 · 31/08/2015 12:31

Sat on monitor now. He's fine :) my braxton hicks are so strong tho!!

zombiemeow · 31/08/2015 12:44

That's good Smile are the bh uncomfortable cupcake? Have you mentioned them? Was this the first or second time you have been in with reduced movement? Where I am if you go in twice you have a scan to check everything

Cupcake92 · 31/08/2015 21:09

Yeah the bh have been uncomfortable for a while now. The midwife was recording them on the monitor and asked me about 5 times if I'm sure they aren't painful Grin because they were recording quite high. But they don't hurt they are just supa tight.
And it's the 2nd time ducky but I'm already booked for a scan on 23rd sept so they said just to keep that one n go to it, as I'm seeing my doctor after too.

DS is fast asleep has been since half 8 :) he's been a good boy today! Hope he sleeps all night!

zombiemeow · 31/08/2015 22:31

Fingers crossed he sleeps for you cupcake! You could do with a rest!

Hope your feeling better lulu

LuluJakey1 · 31/08/2015 23:21

Thanks Ducky, - not really. I think when I get a bit of routine and normality back tomorrow I might start to feel better. DS has been so good today. He says MaMaMaMa but he says it to everyone Grin DH is most put out. He had egg and toast for breakfast, chicken and barley casserole for lunch and a cheese sandwich and avocado for his tea. He has played all day with DH, been to the beach in the rain and gone to bed exhausted.

Cupcake- glad everything was OK. You must have high pain thresholds with the BH. Roll on the next 9 weeks. Hope you get some sleep tonight.

You too Ducky- hope DS sleeps through.

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 01/09/2015 07:40

Thanks ducky :) DS slept amazing!!!! Can't believe it! He woke up at 7am!! :D
But he's woke up in a grump for some reason Grin
How was ur DS?

Lulu, I rele hope u feel better soon Flowers
Ur DS gets fed better than me! What a yummy day of food :) sounds like ur DH loves spending time with DS, it's rele nice to hear about all the things they do together :)

Well Lulu the thing is I'm a wimp when it comes to pain! But the bh are just supa tight. But yes most definitely roll on the next 9 weeks, or 7 weeks if my baby is nice and decides to come at 37 weeks :)

zombiemeow · 01/09/2015 18:10

Sounds like ds is eating well lulu! Has the weather been nice by you? I would love love love to live by a beach!

Wow cupcake!!!!! Go ds!!!! Ds did his longest sleep ever last night too! He went to 5.30, had a small bottle then slept to 7.30. I was awake from 3-4.30, no reason, I just couldn't sleep!

Cupcake92 · 01/09/2015 19:15

Yay Ducky!! Grin or should I say yay to ur DS!! :) that's great! My DS seems to sleep well when urs does Grin can u tell ur DS to sleep well tonight please :p

Eughh my braxton hicks don't stop ! They are so tight again tonight

zombiemeow · 01/09/2015 22:21

I will certainly have words with him cupcake! Although he only had one nap today Shock he was so tired by 5, I managed to keep him up until 6 when he fell asleep and when I moved him to bed at around 20 past so I could watch hollyoaks he was wide awake. I'm trying not to bring him downstairs again once he's gone to bed for the night so I left him and he just talked to himself for an hour before dropping off

Hope the bh ease off for you

Cupcake92 · 02/09/2015 07:08

Hope he slept well Ducky! And as for not bringing him back downstairs if he wakes is a very good idea! I used to bring DS back down and it didn't work out well for me in the end. It's taken a while to get him to stay upstairs now. Grin
But DS managed to sleep! And very well again! Even after me telling him he has nursery today Grin he slept from about 8:45 till 6:15am this morning! Yay!! :) this is so incredibly good for DS, and especially to do it more than 1 night in a row is amazing. I just hope he keeps it up.

As for the bh, I don't get why mine are always so strong? I'm hoping it means my labour will be easier and not as painful Grin

DS is off to nursery today for another taster session, he has one more taster on Friday then he starts properly next week! I'm so nervous as he seems to be so upset when I leave him. He's there from 9-2pm today. Then on friday he's there till 3:30pm! Shock
I'm so nervous lol Grin
I'm going to set up DS2's Moses basket today and make up the cot too. I'm hoping to get DS used to it all being there ready for when baby is here.

zombiemeow · 02/09/2015 08:21

Ds slept until 6.00 Shock!!!!

Hope ds gets on better today, and don't over do it!

Cupcake92 · 02/09/2015 11:57

Yay that's brilliant! :) another good night! Bet ur happy :)

He screamed when I left him again. Will see how he's done when I get him later. They are having spag Bol for dinner so I rele hope he tries and eats some cuz he likes that.
The Moses basket is set up and looks so cute! :)
All the cleaning in the house is done, and washings been done so I'm sitting down about to eat lunch... On my own! In peace and quiet! :O it's so weird!

zombiemeow · 02/09/2015 14:11

Hopefully he will settle :-)

Bet it's getting exciting now everything is set up!!!

And lunch in quiet sounds lovely!!! Ds is just having his left over dairy free lasagne with cucumber for lunch

Cupcake92 · 02/09/2015 16:40

I'm so proud of him! He actually went for a nap at nursery!! That's the last thing I ever thought he'd do Grin he never ate dinner again but they said this time he sat at the table with the children until they all finished and he licked a few spoonfuls of food haha which is an improvement I guess Smile

And yes Ducky it's getting rele exciting! Just want him here now :) I need to teach DS more about how a baby will be coming home to stay, he still is confused. I found him sat inside the Moses basket a minute ago!! Lol!
How do u show them a baby will be coming home tho?

Oo o hope ur DS enjoyed his lunch :)
