Grin he sounds like he's much better Lulu!
He'll be home in no time.
And I had pork with an apple jus and dauphinoise potatoes. It was so so lovely. For a starters I had baked olive bread with balsamic vinegar and a whole roasted garlic.

I'm rele sore today, baby has been moving around again and my stomach hurts and feels rele uncomfortable :( been having to lie down on the sofa on my side as it seems to give baby more space.
It's been raining all day today! But it's been lovely and cool and I hope it's cold enough tonight that I get to snuggle into my quilt. I love that :)

LuluJakey1 · 26/07/2015 20:02

I love Dauphinoise potatoes Cupcake and the olive bread sounds lovely too.

Is being uncomfortable to do with your SPD or just the baby growing and less space? I know what you mean about cooler nights. It has rained here all day too.

DH is home. While I was visiting this afternoon, the Dr came onto the ward and DH asked if there was any chance he could come home . We had to wait for some antibiotics but he's home. He seems OK. Says he is a bit tired but has been for a short walk in the rain. He wanted some fresh air. He just walked around the cricket field at the front of our house.
He's had his tea - chicken, new potatoes and fresh peas and broccoli - and is sitting in the sun room with a mug of tea and some blueberry and apple crumble and custard. So he's definitely on the mend. DS is sitting next to him with a bowl of chopped banana. The two cats are sitting on the back of the sofa. Smile

I'm glad he's home. The house felt very strange without him. I am tired too after DS last night. He eventually went into his cot and slept after midnight and woke twice until I took him into our bed about 5 where he slept but I just dozed because I was half keeping an eye on him.

Hope dh is feeling better now he's home lulu (and hope he did his poo!) I agree that ds probably senses a change so was difficult to settle. How has he been tonight?

Lil how old is he now? Bloody sleep regression Confused ds hasn't been the same since (although I think it's rare for that to happen so don't panic!)

Cupcake I can't believe he's going to be 2! He had his 1st birthday when we started the thread didn't he?

LuluJakey1 · 26/07/2015 21:59

Fine tonight Ducky. He is tucked up in his cot asleep. DH has had a shower and gone to bed. I m watching the thing with David Walliams on BBC1 then I am going up. Oh it has finished as I am typing.

How is DS? Has he slept better? How is his tummy? Has he got any teeth yet? DS hasn't. I keep looking.

OP posts:
zombiemeow · 26/07/2015 22:08

He's still doing a few funny poos although he had a big dinner tonight and two desserts! Then he's gone to sleep at 7 and not made a sound since! I keep checking on him as it's not like him! He hasn't got any teeth yet either, I wonder when they will come. I thought he should of had some by now.

Did dh get to see his appendix in the end? Grin

Lillamyy1 · 26/07/2015 22:11

Hurray for DH's poo Lulu Smile
Cupcake your meal out sounds great! Sorry to hear you're so sore though.
My DS is 3 months and a week! He slept ok in his cot. Although we did have a few wake ups. I should have gone to bed earlier tonight Confused

Cupcake92 · 27/07/2015 07:28

Lulu it's a mixture of both, he's definitely got less space and I feel every single movement he does and it also aggravates my spd, as the braxton hick happen my lower back and pelvis ache afterwards. My pelvis pops so much recently as well it's rele sore.
Glad DH is home Lulu!

Ducky the thread had been going 4 months before he had his 1st bday! :) can't believe it! Now he's almost 2!

But I'm sorry ladies, they get worse as they get older! Grin he's deffo hit his terrible 2 stage! He's so so naughty and rude! His behaviour recently has rele tested my patients! if he wants something he wants it there and then, and if he doesn't get it straight away he will throw himself on the floor and scream. I discipline him and he won't have a treat like crisps or chocolate. Or I'll not play a game he wants and also tell him it's bad what he's done. But his dad doesn't do anything at all! I picked him up the other night after my meal and DS played up then and exH said to me 'don't shout at him or tell him off he's okay'
Err well he wasn't as he had hit me and I'm pretty sure that's not a good thing so DS needs telling that it's wrong.
He does my head in he rele does. I always feel like he's making me seem like a bad mom! When I dropped him off DS had a little red mark on his cheek which he must of done in the car by scratching or rubbing it or something. ExH saw it and asked how he got it, I said oh I'm not sure he must of done something in the car. And he looked at me and asked if I was sure I didn't know how it got there as a mark doesn't magically appear. He said it as if I had done it to DS!
He makes me so angry! Angry
Sorry needing a rant as I'm about to see him this morning when I drop DS off before work!

Lill hope DS slept well last night in his cot! :)

zombiemeow · 27/07/2015 08:46

Let's hope it continues lil and he sleeps better and better Smile

Cupcake your stbxh is a dick Angry I thought you were getting on better recently. I'm dreading the terrible twos Confused

LuluJakey1 · 27/07/2015 14:18

I just think your ex likes to erode your self-esteem Cupcake. Ignore him and don't even think about what he says. Don't give it any time at all. Just detach emotionally. Say the word in your had when he tries to get at you.

Hope this is the start of a settled sleep pattern Lill! DH says thanks for the celebration of his poo. Hmm He can't believe I have told you all. Blush

Sounds like you have had some better days Ducky. That's good news.

It is tipping it down here. I have been to the dentist and had a big old metal filling from when I was about 11, removed and replaced with a white one. Have a saw jaw from the injection. DH has had DS out for a walk in the rain to do a bit of shopping in the village. They are both having an afternoon nap. I am going to tidy the kitchen cupboards.

Had the door open for the cats into the garden. They won't go out in the rain but they like to sit at the garden door and watch it. Heard this noise and a toad was in the kitchen. It was a big one. I have put it out at the bottom of the garden. Smile

zombiemeow · 27/07/2015 14:44

I'm terrified of the dentist lulu! I think I have to go next week or the week after. And I'm scared of toads!!! Did you pick it up with your hands!? Your brave if you did! Grin

LuluJakey1 · 27/07/2015 16:16

Yes I just picked it up Ducky. I think they are cute Smile They are not slimy at all.

OP posts:
zombiemeow · 27/07/2015 19:05

I'd be standing on the tables screaming if it was me! I know it wouldn't hurt me but they move quickly. I don't even know why I'm scared of them I just am Grin

Cupcake92 · 27/07/2015 20:32

I'm calmer now lol Grin

Ducky I didn't think the terrible twos would be this bad. But I think maybe because I'm pg as well it's a lot harder. Be easier to handle him when not pregnant.

Lulu it rained here yesterday but no rain today. Tho it's looked awful all day out. Oh no the poor frog! Poor thing Grin
Lulu I also hate the dentist like Ducky! Can't stand them!!

I've got the midwife next week, have to have my anti D injection and more bloods. Going to speak to her about my braxton hicks as they have been awful the past 2 days, very intense and very tight I have to catch my breath.
I'm getting worried about early labour. I was 32 weeks with DS when I went into labour, thankfully it was stopped but I was told they wouldn't stop it this time round if it happened. I'm 27 weeks this week. Been told to have my hospital bag packed for 30 weeks 'just in case' that's only 3 weeks away!

LuluJakey1 · 27/07/2015 21:32

Let's hope you go longer than 32 weeks this time Cupcake. Why did you start so early last time? Do you know? Are they keeping an eye on you?

DS is in bed, asleep! He has had a busy day - crawled non stop this evening and has had some porridge before bed so hopefully he'll sleep through.

DH has just said 'D'you want to check my operation wounds? We could play nurses and patients'
Me. Fell about laughing.
DH 'I take it that's a no. Shall I make us some tea instead then? '
Grin

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 28/07/2015 06:28

No idea why I went so early last time Lulu. He was always head down and engaged at my 28 week appt. but that was it! N I'm having more midwife appts, normally u have a few less if it's not ur 1st baby but I'm getting the same as if it was my 1st, so I think I get about 2/3 more midwife appts?
U and ur DH make me laugh Lulu Smile

Supposed to be going to Matlock today with the family but the weather doesn't look promising!

LuluJakey1 · 28/07/2015 11:01

Cupcake, he does not give up. This morning, cuddled up in bed behind me.
DH- Are you awake?
Me- No
DH - You are. I've been thinking. You don't have to be a nurse, you could be a Dr, a Consultant even if you want, doing her rounds. You could give me a very thorough post-op check up, I think I need one to make sure everything still works.
Me- Do you think telling me I could be a Dr or even a Consultant is somehow going to tempt me more to do it? What goes on in your head?
DH- Well you like a bit of power.
Me-What does that mean, I 'like a bit of power'? Bog off DH. Leave me alone and go and make some toast and tea while DS is still asleep.
DH- laughing - OK

It is pouring again here today. I am fed up with rain. DS is all over the place. We are going to Morpeth. DH will take him to baby soft play and I am wandering round the shops. There's some nice shops and I need some presents for friends' birthdays coming up.

Hope you get to Matlock and the sun comes out. No chance of that here.

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 28/07/2015 21:48

Managed to go to Matlock and was raining when we got there but we went in all the arcades so wasn't too bad :) DS won some Mickey Mouse stickers on a 2p machine! Grin

I called up physio today to chase it up as its been another 2 weeks since my 're referral' again I should have been sent a letter but of course I dont have one but I'm not too late this time, I spoke to the woman who does the physio and she's calling me in the morning to hopefully sort a day out to finally start my physio! And im in desperate need for it as I'm so so so sore today! It's getting worse. Starting to hurt a lot to walk up the stairs now.

zombiemeow · 28/07/2015 22:03

Hope you had a nice day lulu.

Cupcake that is ridiculous AngryAngryAngry you need to put a complaint in writing I think!

Hope everyone else is ok tori, siarie, bears and everyone else x

LuluJakey1 · 28/07/2015 23:23

Where is everyone else?

We had a nice day Ducky. It did get out a bit this afternoon so after we'd had lunch out in Morpeth, we walked DH by the river and fed the ducks. He was fascinated. But it started to rain again and is still raining. Cats are fed up as it is mousing season and they are stuck in the house again tonight.

Honestly, Cupcake, what on earth is going on with your physio? At least you seem to have got somewhere with them now. Will it sort it out? Is it a guaranteed 'fix' or does it just ease it for a while? Or is it advice to help you not aggravate it?

DH has overdone it a bit today with all the walking and picking Ds up all the time. He was really tired when we got home. They both had a sleep for an hour. I did some ironing.

Did anyone watch 'Great Ormond Street'? I get really anxious watching it and hope it's all going to work out for everyone every week. The government should be throwing money at health, not cutting it.

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 29/07/2015 06:26

Ducky I'm going to write a complaint, for sure. I'm sick and tired of having to chase it up. Surely that isn't my job to do? Surely the doctors etc should be doing this? And there's obviously something wrong if I'm not receiving any letters. Yet when they read my address back to me it's all correct. I need to be able to do a good letter tho about how their delay has caused me to be in so much pain. The reason for my referral was it was causing my day to day life to be effected. So I need to mention how 10 weeks of waiting has really effected my day to day life and activities etc.

Lulu uve had a busy day! i hope u all managed to sit down and relax for the evening.
And well they kept saying to me, 'the earlier I start physio the better I'll be' they said the spd will be there throughout the pregnancy but the earlier I start physio the more affective the physio will be. So technically I'd be in less pain. But they said if I start it late on it won't have as an effect on the pain. Will just help me deal with it.
So of course I could have had it early on! I was 17 weeks when I was referred.... Now it's late on so won't have a great effect as I'm 27 weeks! Angry they annoy me so much!

I watched Great Ormond street, it always makes me sad :(

Cupcake92 · 29/07/2015 06:50

Omg it's not even been an hour since we've been up and DS is being so so bad! All he's done is shout and cry and ask for cake!
He's on the floor atm crying.
We also don't have any milk left so he's not able to have his mornings drink of milk!

zombiemeow · 29/07/2015 07:28

Sounds like dh is on the mend lulu! I didn't watch it, things like that make me sad.

Yes cupcake and mention it has affected your ds too! That's crap that he's being difficult though Hmm I want cake for breakfast too

LuluJakey1 · 29/07/2015 08:19

DS is banging a small old pan lid on the wooden floor in the sitting room and laughing away to himself. It keeps falling out of his hand and clattering which is even more fun apparently. Am tempted to give him the drum back at this rate. DH still asleep.

I would like cake too right now Cupcake.I feel like shouting and lying on the floor crying about it. I am sure cake would help make the pan lid banging bearable. It would go down nicely with a large gin and tonic and soothe my nerves. Grin

I am going to take DS in the bath with me. He loves the bath and that will get him off the pan lid.

See you later.

Cupcake92 · 29/07/2015 09:42

Thankfully he's settled down and eating his toast now Grin
If it was acceptable then we'd both have cake for breakfast! It's because we brought some little minion cupcakes yesterday and he must have remembered I said he could have another one today, but I mean after his lunch. He obviously thought as soon as he gets up Grin

Gosh Lulu that sounds noisy!! Gin and tonic sounds lovely tho! Grin tho i wish I could have a bottle glass of red wine!

zombiemeow · 29/07/2015 11:50

I'm surprised dh can sleep through that lulu! Grin

Cupcake how is ds now?
