Try not to worry Cupcake. Speech development is very variable with small children. I had hearing tests and was sent to a speech therapist for months when I was about 3-4. Her pronouncement was nothing wrong, leaveme alone to get on with it. They did and I am fine matter of opinion

Surely you would recognise any signs of Autustic Spectrum behaviours yourself, you have seen them in your brother. Your DS does not sound to me like he has any ASD.

Please don't worry. They are very cautious with small children- she is just keeping a watchful eye.

And remember, a hearing problem could be something minor like glue ear just needing grommets.

ASD can also be incredibly mild. I teach a boy with ASD who has just finished sixth form and is off to Reading University. He has learned to deal with the very mild social problems it caused him and you really would not know. Try to stop thinking the worst.

Cupcake I'm sure your ds will be ok, I think these things they sometimes do just for the sake of it. My friends dc is 2 and is barely speaking, he's fine, just quiet.

Ds had a very good night last night Grin he went down at 8.30 and I didn't hear a peep from him until just after 4am when he woke for a bottle, then he went back to sleep until just before 7 Grin he hasn't done that in ages!i suspect it was a one off though Confused

Cupcake92 · 21/07/2015 17:11

Why is it when u need someone to talk to everyone's too busy to give u the time of day?
Just feeling very down today, what with the health visitor visit and I went to town to try and buy a few things I needed and I couldn't do it as I was In too much pain walking around so had to leave. Now I realise I've got no food in for myself so eating a sandwich for dinner. I think everything's just all built up and exploded on me today I keep breaking down In tears.
Just wanted to talk to my mom and even she's too busy to speak to me :(

And Lulu I don't see any ASD traits in DS at all. All I see is a demanding 2 year old who's suddenly found his voice and free will lol.

We Ducky that's rele good sleep for ur DS!! Yay!! :) my DS also went to sleep at 8:30 too! Are they sleeps In sync with each other?

Cupcake92 · 21/07/2015 17:11

Wow*

zombiemeow · 21/07/2015 17:26

You can speak to us cupcake Grin I know it's not like having a cuppa with someone in rl but we'll listen. Any news on your physio appt? Do you have any more scans?

It's scary strange how similar our ds are cupcake! Make yours go to bed at 8.30 again! Grin

Just doing ds dinner, he has a bug selection, he's got lots of cucumber (he's obsessed with itBlush) chicken, then some little fajita sandwiches and banana for desert Smile

Cupcake92 · 21/07/2015 19:08

Thanks ducky! :) just having one of those days today!
And no news on physio nope :/ going to call to see where my appt is... Again!!
And not got any scans till the 6th October! :O when I'm 36 weeks!! Gosh! Seems crazy that does!
I'll try and make him go to sleep early again ducky ????
Oo yum! Ur ds eats well! :)

Mr Bloom is going to be in Hollyoaks! Grin I find that so weird! I'm watching the one on E4 now and think he appears in it tonight.

Cupcake92 · 21/07/2015 20:48

I couldn't manage 8:30 ducky! But I've managed to get him to sleep at 8:45 Grin

zombiemeow · 21/07/2015 20:54

Me too cupcake!!! Grin

I almost had 8.30 but the second I put him down he decided it was time for cuddles Grin

I love hollyoaks but missed the e4 one!!!

Cupcake92 · 22/07/2015 06:55

Woo hoo! Go us ducky!! GrinGrin
I think we are doing a pretty good job at this sleep thing. Ds woke at 6:30am! Very happy with him :) tho he was sleep talking last night, he was shouting his cat!

zombiemeow · 22/07/2015 07:36

Ah ds had a not so great night last night, although it wasn't his worst! He slept until 3 ok then had a feed followed by multiple wake ups and up at 5 Confused

Cupcake92 · 22/07/2015 08:14

If he slept from 8:30 till 3 that's rele good ducky!

LuluJakey1 · 22/07/2015 09:56

Hope you are feelng better today Cupcake and you get your physio appontment sorted. Sounds like DS is sleeping better. Yours too Ducky. It's amazing how you two mirror each other- DHs, DSs, perhaps you are somehow related- do you live far from each other? Grin You might look alike too.

SIL and fiance arrived yesterday afternoon with their removal van. They had driven it up from Bradford. They should get the keys about now. They have gone along to the agent. DH is all ready to be removal man extraordinaire. Hmm

Me and DS are going along in an hour or so with a cake for elevenses and some other stuff I baked yesterday for lunchtime (quiches and cheese and mushroom and onion pastries and potato salad) Depending on how he behaves, I will stay and help, or stay and be useless. He has been awake since 5 and never stopped so he might have a sleep in his pushchair. DH has his baby chair in the car so he might bounce in that for a while.

Busy day today. It is nice to have them here. The more I get to know fiance, the more I really like him. He is such a genuine and nice person. They get on really well.

OP posts:
LuluJakey1 · 22/07/2015 17:48

It is quiet on here today!

DS and I are back home. DH is still there. DS is over tired now and got very naughty and waily and there was no stopping him. He had fallen asleep in his pushchair by the time we got home. I am knackered.Done lots of cleaning and unpacking. It is looking like a home a bit now though. They have got rugs down, curtains up, beds up and and the kitchen unpacked. Furniture in the right places. SIL and fiance are doing clothes now and DH has gone to the tip with about 30 boxes then they are assembling bookshelves from Ikea.

He's getting us a takeaway on his way home. I am lying on the sofa until DS wakes up- my back is sore.

I think we'll all be fast asleep early tonight.

Hope everyone has had a good day.

Cupcake92 · 22/07/2015 18:46

Gosh Lulu u have been busy! I hope u get a nice rest tonight!

I've also been busy today. My new bed came. Someone had come to collect my old bed so my new bed needed putting up today or I wouldn't have a bed to sleep in!
Well as u know in pregnant! I also have very bad spd, most of my family were at work the only person who wasn't was exH who I knew started work tonight at 6pm. So I called him up and asked if he could help me assemble this bed as I couldn't do it on my own. His response was 'no do some hard graft urself, I've got work at 6 so I need to chill today'
Hmm
So of course I had a go at him and said I do hard graft every day! I look after ur son and I'm currently growing u another son!
But apparently I can do that sitting down so it's not hard graft Hmm
So he told me to do the bed myself. So I did. And I wish I didn't as I'm in so much pain now. It feels like I've pulled a muscle in my stomach and my hips and legs are aching so so so much.
I'm so angry at him! I asked him to do one thing for me and help me out because I'm pregnant and can't do a lot.
We had been getting on rele rele well for a few months and we seemed like really good friends like it used to be when I 1st met him. But this last week he's turned into that horrible person again n won't do anything at all to help me and will speak to me like crap! Sometimes all I ask him for is to have DS a few hours longer so I can come home from work and relax for a bit. And I was asked to the cinema last night by my friend but I couldn't go as exH wouldn't have DS as he said he wants to see his mates. Just reminds me that he will never change!

zombiemeow · 22/07/2015 21:02

What take away you having lulu? I love unpacking!.... To start off with, then I get bored Grin I can't remember, are sil and her partner engaged now?

Cupcake AngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngry oh my god, he's an asshole I really can't believe him. He's horrible! So glad you managed toget away from that idiot, how can he be so horrible Angry

Cupcake92 · 22/07/2015 21:20

Oo Lulu I wish I had a takeaway now!
I wish they did takeaway jacket potatoes with whatever u wanted on them. Haha I'm craving that tonight with chilli or chicken tikka on it!

Ducky, I know, it's not like he has to do a lot anymore either. I don't ask for a lot! I could make him have DS every weekend and go out and party but I don't! I told my mom about it tonight and she got rele annoyed and said 'I wish u wouldn't tell me these things he says as I always want to punch him right in the head!' GrinGrinGrin

Did u know a year ago today I got my 1st positive pregnancy test? Can't believe that's been a year. That's crazy!

LuluJakey1 · 22/07/2015 21:51

Your ex is unbelieveable Cupcake. He is horrible if he thinks you want anything from him at all. You are so well rid. You should not have done that yourself Cupcake. Would the place you bought it from not have built it?

We had Indian takeaway. We'll be eating it tomorrow as well-DH got far too much stuff - but it was lovely. I had king prawn biryani. DH had chicken dansak. Onion bahjis to start with poppadoms and pickles, salad and minty yoghurt.

DS is in bed. I have taken some painkillers and my back is OK. I want to go to bed but I want to watch the thing on Channel 4 at 10. DH is making us some tea and putting the dishwasher on then he is having a bath and going to bed.

Yes Ducky, they are engaged- wedding is next month. It's not a big wedding but I am looking forward to it which is unusual because I don't much like weddings.

Lulu I thought they would but apparently they charge to put furniture together and I hadn't paid for it.
Oh Lulu that sounds yummy. I love onion bajis !
The wedding next month has come round fast!

Tori thank u, and yes a year can make so much a difference its unbelievable. To be where u were last year to now holding ur own baby is amazing! And I'm hoping to do the same :)

DS went to sleep at 9:15 last night but was up at 5:30!! I knew he'd have bad sleep as he napped quite late and it was a stressful day yesterday lol.
We are out for dinner tonight as its my cousins graduation today. But it costs a lot! It's an all u can eat buffet place but I'm not paid till next week and it's scraping my purse Grin I'd DS behaves it will be nice to be out with family tho.

zombiemeow · 23/07/2015 08:10

A year since both them things, its mad how fast that seems to have gone.

Hahah tori!!! Asshat!!! I'm a fan of your insults!

Ds slept 7 -6am with 4 wake ups, one was for feeding

Cupcake92 · 23/07/2015 20:43

Baby has been trying to turn all afternoon and it's so painful ! Pushing all limbs out and my braxton hicks have been going mad!

zombiemeow · 23/07/2015 21:09

Oooo cupcake it's so uncomfortable when they do that! I remember ds doing it sometimes and it was that bad it made me feel so sick! He's getting all comfy in there Grin

How was ds with going to bed?

LuluJakey1 · 23/07/2015 22:29

How many weeks are you now Cupcake? Sounds like a wriggler. Is he a big baby? How comfortable is your new bed? Did you have anice meal out with your family?

Apart from throwing mushed up strawberries in my hair this morning, DS has been as good as gold today- really easy and happy all day. We haven't seen SIL today- thought we would let them get themselves sorted and settled and have a bit of time to themselves.

I am meeting her tomorrow to wander round the village- it has three really nice boutiques (there are sales on atm) and some housey shops and all the basics too plus charity shops- and have coffee and cake somewhere. DS isn't coming. He is going swimming with his daddy.

I know I am not pregnant but my period is late. How can it be late on the pill? I am not telling DH because he will just think I am pregnant and be delighted. I have not missed a pill so am definitely not.

OP posts:
zombiemeow · 24/07/2015 08:37

Lulu sometimes the pill just messes your cycles up Smile but, it's not 100% effective so there is also a slight chance you could be pg! Grin

We had a false alarm on ds breathing monitor last night. It was awful!
