Is it true that a positive ovulation test will show a positive result if you're pregnant?

Has this been true for anyone, really?

I am 6 weeks pregnant, had a positive on a digital test and three positives on ovulation tests which were darker than when I was ovulating

@Supermommy1920 I’ve been testing on OPKs a few days during the week and got very dark positives, a lot darker than my ovulation positive!
Finally took a pregnancy test this morning and have got a BFP!!

@Sdoo4 - Congratulations!! i hope it’s true for me as well been ttc for 6 months now for baby #3! Period due 21st or 23rd took ovulation test yesterday faint postive and today darker positive. Took pregnancy test and still negative.

Hiya, sorry to jump in but just need a little advice. I have a flow due in 6 days, however for some weird reason I decided this month, I was going to continue checking ovulation via ovulation stick after after my time frame. However I have noticed in the last few days the second line on the stick is getting darker each day. I took a pregnancy test yesterday but a BFN. Is this normal leading upto a flow or should I be worried something is wrong as this has not happened before.... pls see pic...

Hello I have 5 ovulation test that have came back with 2 clear lines well 1 is fainter than the others and I’m just woundering could this mean I’m pregnant

@Ckmmr20 it’s not guaranteed as some people get a surge before AF is due. Are you having any symptoms?
This was my OPK when I got my BFP. I had no tests so kept trying OPKs and they were all coming back darker than I ever get for ovulation.

Could anybody help me please im new to this site I had my nexplanon implant out 12/11/20 it actually expired in May 2020 but due to covid I couldn't get it removed sooner. I had regular periods before having it removed and I've missed this one. I'm unsure of the exact date I was due on but I know I'm definitely late. I had unprotected sex 09/11/2020 twice and 20/11/20 twice so I did a pregnancy test which is negative. Could my late period be due to having my nexplanon removed ?

I ovulated for a couple of days around the 19th may 2021 and again from the 2nd june and still getting very dark line on ovulation sticks for the last 5 days. What does this mean?

If you think you might be pregnant please just take a pregnancy test. People drive themselves round the bend trying to guess what OPKs mean.

Using bbt alongside OPKs will also help confirm ovulation - particularly where it looks like you have very long cycles

Actually metal head pic may be faint but could still stand as a positive as she could be nearing the end of her ovulation cycle. I'm a nurse but not gynae trained.

Hello I got a solid smiley face 25th august to say I’m ovulating I believe I ovulated 27th according to my calendar

Now today 03 September another very positive ovulation test another solid face and 2 strong lines

My question is when can I do a pregnancy test after that very positive ovulation test ?

So I tried out the positive opk testing while pregnant Im around 5 to 6 weeks pregnant and had 5 positive pregnancy tests then decided to do an ovulation test and this is the result 🌈🙏 praying for a healthy baby
