Hula- I honestly don't remember anything about the shot- Louise did the first one as my scan showed it needed to be soon and I was anxious about doing it.. And I was surprised how fine I was doing the second one .. It's really easy and wasn't painful at all. I hope you don't feel bad or worried. I was on 7.5 the 2nd month when conceived. I only had one follicle ready to pop and another poppable via the ovitrelle. As they say, it only takes one good egg!
I know it's starting to get exciting thought still anxious. Be good to be past the 20 weeks.. That's the next milestone for me.
Hope everyone else having good weekends and you reach your next milestone soon too, whatever it is x

Tryingno1 · 27/06/2015 07:19

Thanks rosa. Yep am eating well and loads of water. I had a lot of comfort eating whilst doing the ivf and I feel like I've put on so much weight. The min I got my pos test the veg and chicken came out! I am just going to take each day as it comes. Dh is being a star and looking after me. I am at work next week but kinda hoping it makes it go quicker but have a lot of time off in July. It's just so nerve wracking.
Will be the most amazing feeling to feel ur first kick :)

Hula, the trigger in ivf also gives a false postive too so just ask Louise when it leaves ur system! Hope ur follicles r growing.

Sunny good luck xxx

Tryingno1 · 27/06/2015 07:26

Guys when did u book ur booking visit? I'm too scared to do it, but also think it's imp to have early care? But as happened to seeking , when the appt comes if I haven't made it it's distressing :(
I'm going to under consultant care as on clexane throughout so wondering if I should just brave it after my first scan? (If I make it to one). Did anyone wait till after 8 weeks I would prefer that but prob too late?

sunnyday01 · 27/06/2015 07:53

Men isn't until Monday - I've left mine really late!

I think I'm going to do the same sunny! Hope ur feeling ok Xxx

Hula2 · 27/06/2015 07:56

Trying - i had my initial mw visits at 8 wks and hosp booking at 10 wks both times. Advantage of going early is you are in their system and you also get the first set of bloods at the hosp one. This benefited me with my mc as when i went to the epu they had my details and bloods. The downside is they start talking about where you ll have the baby which seems so far away (and like tempting fate !) and the mw at my doctors cocked up and rang me at when i would have been 36 wks to see where i d got too missing that i d had a mc at 10wks. Caught me unawares and was last thing i needed as due date was approaching. Also nhs is slow and can get very full with scans so with ds despite have booking visit at 10 wks the earliest scan apt they could give for downs screening was 14wks so past the required window to do it ! Luckily i was having it privately anyway. So don t know if that helps or not !

Sunny got everything crossed for you.

Tryingno1 · 27/06/2015 08:22

Thanks hula, I was thinking the same about scans etc with the nhs being stretched. That's really helpful I feel like it's tempting fate if book it early! I'll book one in after my first scan when I'll be 6 plus 4 if I get good news.
Pred insomnia equals reading lots of books at 7am! I'm not even a book reader but nothing else to do!

sunnyday01 · 27/06/2015 12:46

Grear Now is it just 12 weeks scan?

Hula2 · 27/06/2015 14:04

Yay sunny, sooooo pleased for you, brilliant news.

Tryingno1 · 27/06/2015 16:29

Sunny did u say u haven't been having any symptoms? Apart from awful diarrhoea which I think is the progesterone as started 2 days after starting it/post embryo tansfer im feeling normal. It's worrying me! All my other preg I didn't feel much till 6 weeks but then they didn't end well! :(
Had minor cramps last 2 days now those have stopped too.

Tryingno1 · 27/06/2015 16:30

I did do another frer today just to be sure sure it wasn't trigger left over. It was stronger line but I know that doesn't mean anything. Was quite strong on day 13dpo too so wasn't much in it...

Hula2 · 27/06/2015 19:12

Don t worry about no symtpoms Trying, it will be the meds and many women don t have symptoms even not on meds (i only had sl full boobs with ds and that was it). Great the frer is stronger, sounds all on track.

sunnyday01 · 27/06/2015 19:53

Step away from the tests trying!!

I had very few/no symptoms at all in the early weeks, louise saud not to worry as iften don t kick in to week 7 and even then the ored will mask them.

I have had sore boobs I er last few weeks at varying degrees, also had tiredness in past few weeks although sleeping well, waking up at around 5. This week I have had some nausea and gone off some foods but even then so e days in fine and don't feel any different and sometimes I feel funny.

I've stopped worrying about what symptoms I do/don't have - over all my different pregnancies I have had varying symptoms at different levels and none of it has meant anything! I had a friend who had terrible morning sickness which everyone told her was great and must mean things are all good, sadly she had a miscarriage. So just shows everyone is different and having symptoms doesn't necessarily mean things are progressing well or not progressing.

Tryingno1 · 27/06/2015 20:08

Thanks guys.
Yep no more tests! I literally did it as was before the clinic test date (today was official say) and I wanted to be sure sure. But no more testing!

I had awful vomitimg in my second one which ended at 9 weeks so I should know symptoms don't mean anything.

I think it hit me today that I'm preg. I've been feeling teary and overwhelmed by it all.

But going to watch 50 shades to try distract me! Haha xxx

sunnyday01 · 27/06/2015 20:22

Ha ha, I still haven't seen that!

I still can't believe im pregnant, feels so weird saying it!

Tryingno1 · 27/06/2015 20:42

I had convinced myself my cycle hadn't work. Was so worried about the sperm etc. I think it's taken a few days to sink in this is real for now. Prob the anxiety and proper panic will now begin tmrw! My dH keeps walking in seeing me welled up on the sofa whilst an advert or location location is on! (Ive Lost the plot).
Yep it's meant to be crap but I'm intrigued!

Seekingmiracles · 28/06/2015 08:03

Morning ladies!! Just popping on to say I'm so glad your scan went well Sunny Grin, so happy for you.
Trying - I'm a beauty therapist... A little massage is absolutely fine, it's the pressure and aromatherapy and pressure points you need to be careful of. But a light massage will do more good than harm.

We're in the new house. In a way it's a good job I'm not pregnant - the previous owners must have given up cleaning - I spent all of Friday evening and yesterday up to my armpits in bleach, limescale remover and other stinky cleaning stuff!!
Currently sat at Starbucks on the M4 en route to see the puppies!!!

Hope you all have a nice day, I'll read back through properly later. X

Tryingno1 · 28/06/2015 10:17

Hi seeking. Thanks for that! Where are the trigger points in the neck and upper back I should avoid? I suppose I can google it!
Well done for getting scrubbed in! And yay to the puppy. How cute! Hope u fall in love with it the moment u see it!
I'm stressing, this is going to be such a long few weeks. I pre apologise as I'm sure im going to go mental on this board over the next few weeks! I know worrying won't change anything and I keep telling myself I'm on the drugs , but it's not helping! SIGH

Hula2 · 28/06/2015 12:19

Seeking - congrats on your new house, hope it bring you much happiness and exciting about the puppy.

Trying - don t apologise, we re here to help you get thru these difficult weeks.

Seekingmiracles · 28/06/2015 12:58

I would avoid any kind of pressure points around the shoulder area, there is one that can induce labour later in pregnancy. Just gentle massage is fine though. And don't apologise- it's a worrying time after all we've all been through. You'll get through it, we'll be here to help though Smile

Chosen the puppy! Could have easily had about 3 of them!! Can't post a pic yet as I'm on my phone and have no internet at home yet. But will as soon as I do.

Determined123 · 28/06/2015 17:02

Ahh congrats Sunny and Seeking on the new house and puppy!! All so exciting Smile

Good luck with SO hula...I tested it out with cheapies to make sure it was out of my system and know if it was real or not...

Waves to others xx

Tryingno1 · 28/06/2015 18:14

Aw cute! Looking fwd to a pic seeking!

Hula lots of luck for tmrw-when is ur scan? Hope there's a good follicle or 2 in there ready to POP! Hope ur not feeling anxious.

I'm feeling totally normal. If I hadn't seen my 2 lines I wouldn't believe it. Must not worry over symptoms but can't help it! but I suppose it would be weird if I wasn't at least a little anxious after all of the last 2 years. Quite looking fwd go work this week, it's not a very busy week so hopefully a good balance. Should be booking in my next intralipd and scan tmrw.
