Oh chart! When will you test - it's looking very good Grin

HopesUpKnickersDown · 06/06/2015 12:27

Pug DH's present did make me giggle, a girl can never have enough vibrators! ??. Your chart looks very exciting, fx for you!

ThePug · 06/06/2015 12:34

I think it's sensible to keep peeing on the opks mummy (as long as they're the cheap ones) so you know you haven't missed anything. So pee away!

I said originally I wouldn't test until 14DPO which is when I did last time, but I'm going to be over in Ireland working Mon-Wed next week. Don't fancy doing it at 4am on Monday before going to the airport so looks like I might try tomorrow if my temp stays up! Would an IC (25 mlU) be sensitive enough at 12dpo do you think? I used superdrug ones last time but have a pack of 20 ics that came with the opks.... a bit scared of seeing a BFN though Sad

Mummyofonesofar · 06/06/2015 13:31

I got my last bfp at 12dpo but it was on a 10ml one but rather a bfn tomorrow than a bfp while you're away surely?

Figroller · 06/06/2015 14:14

Hi everyone, sorry I've been a bit of a rubbish poster lately been feeling disheartened with TTC. I was becoming obsessed with the idea of a new baby and I have realised I have been really snappy and not very nice to live with. So decided to take time out and focus on dh and dd rather than an imaginary baby which doesn't even exist.

I haven't been very good at keeping up but I see your chart is looking really good Pug will check in for your results tomorrow. I really hope it's a bfp for you Smile

Sorry for bfn Queen how are you feeling today? Hope you have bought that lovely tight dress.

Sorry for AF hopes you're quite right TTC is really shit when it's not happening Flowers

I've been baby bombed from all directions this week Sammy a lady at work showed me her scan pics and I know she has been trying for a while so I do feel happy for her but it still hurts. DSis is also about ready to pop and most of the time I'm really happy for her but sometimes I feel a jealous rage Envy

Yay for clomid Eskimo I'm excited for you.

Hope you are ok Rainy. I know it's easy to say this but worrying won't change anything, try not to panic too much until you have spoken to the doctor on Monday.

Boo to insensitive people who don't engage their brains before their mouths Mummy and Robot. It honestly astounds me how people can make such comments.

Sorry I know I have missed some people's news I had a lot to catch up on and will try to keep up. I'm on CD7 now, I think some others said they were around there too.

Reluctantnympho · 06/06/2015 18:00

pug I have mentioned going private to dh, but he has said no. He is a firm believer that if things are ment to be, they are ment to be ( now if we hadn't had any children he may have a different point if view) however if I get no joy with the gp, I know I will be able to change his mind!
I hope you are all having a lovely Saturday x x

Hope you have enjoyed focussed on your family fig sometimes we all need time away!!

Had a good Saturday here, just wish the weather was better - yuck!

Mummyofonesofar · 06/06/2015 19:49

Saw some beautiful horses at the gypsy fair! And some sights from the girls there too! Shock

HopesUpKnickersDown · 06/06/2015 20:15

Hi Fig, I hope you're feeling better after your time out. What you said really hit a nerve with me, TTC is totally twisting my melons...which is affecting the whole family. I have been a right moody mare today, AF hormones really don't sit well with me. It's made me question how long do I focus all my energy on trying for a baby that might never be, rather than the family I already have?

Nympho I'm sure you could change his mind ??. I filled in an online enquiry form with Spire a few weeks ago about fertility testing and the feckers didn't even ring me back....how rude! Think I'll be chasing that up on Monday. Like you said before, I just want to know if another baby is even possible or if i'm flogging a dead penis, whoops I mean horse.

Honey85 · 06/06/2015 21:05

Hi! Please can I join you lovely ladies?

I have a 3 year old dd and have recently suffered a mmc at 11 weeks following a surprise pregnancy. 3 weeks since d&c so I guess now we are ttc #2! No idea where I am in my cycle so cracking on and seeing what happens! Although would sort of rather have af and know where I am ... But don't want to wait either hehe.

Pre mc cycles were very regular but pre dd very sporadic and it took a year to conceive her, so who knows!

DizzyMerry · 06/06/2015 21:24

Your chart looks promising pug. Fx for you.

Fig it's important to take time out and focus on what we've already got as ttc takes over our every thought. Hope you're feeling much better now.

Beautiful pics mummy. I really wanted to go to the gypsy fair but DH is working today as are my Dsis's so spent the evening with DD my DM, SIL and DN. Had a lovely time though. We're taking DD to the animal farm tomorrow though.

In ttc news I didn't take my temp this morning because I didn't sleep well, kept tossing and turning all night so switched my alarm off when it went off and fell asleep.

DizzyMerry · 06/06/2015 21:25

Welcome honey. Sorry for your loss. Hope you're journey here is short.

Honey85 · 06/06/2015 21:59

Thanks dizzy!

Just read back re cycle days after miscarriage ... Will take day of mc as cd1 which would make me cd22 .. Being able to put a number on helps me feel normal!

And eurgh just been reading back and saw the comments in the school playground.... Thoughtless horrid people, I don't know what I'd have done. I found it bad enough when I had a week off following surgery, people from work who never normally pass the time of day were all interested in gossiping about why I was off. Apparently they concluded it must've been stress. They truly have no effing idea!

Hairstylisttoboris · 06/06/2015 23:33

Welcome honey sounds like a difficult time for you. Xxx

megarobotdiscoparty · 07/06/2015 07:01

Good luck if you're testing today Pug - remember it don't mean a thing if it's a BFN so no disappointment allowed. Fx for you

We are cycle buddies Fig! I am cd9 today and sammy is cd8 I think. I will be whipping out the opks tomorrow although when I've previously managed ovulation naturally it's been around cd18 so preparing for a long wait - just (in the words of Aerosmith) don't wanna miss a thing...

Welcome honey! Hope you like it here. These are a cheerful bunch Grin.

mummy I didn't tell them - just snapped along the lines of "you'll be the first to know!" They were trying to be nice I think...still really effing insensitive though! Love the pics, don't work too hard today on those chores now.

Hello to everyone else! How was house/dress shopping nomio and queen? And queen have you tried testing again?

They sat me in the ancient "pregnancy chair" in the pub last night - total humiliation. Reckon I can start picking out baby names now though right? Yes?

Stats update....

megarobotdiscoparty/34/ ttc #2/ cycle 8/ otd 28 June

Queenbee30 · 07/06/2015 08:03

Hello all! Quickly popping in whilst our visitors are still asleep! Will catch up properly later.

Still BFN. Just want Af now so can get on with shag fest! I'm going back to basics this cycle. Nothing but sex eod from start to next AF!

Pixa · 07/06/2015 08:59

Nomio howling at the lost EWCM. I imagined a 'There's something about Mary' moment. Hope house viewing is going well.

Eskimo I am with you on wanting something to mother. We looked at bunnies but then changed our mind about them. I got to cuddle baby lemurs this week though and that has made the broodiness far far worse. Yay for Clomid!

Rainy, I really hope all goes well for you tomorrow.

Twinkle Flowers Being in close proximity to pregnant ladies is not easy when TTCing.

Knickers bit late, but welcome!

To all of you POAS addicts, I am a fellow addict but have this month decided not to buy anymore. I won't be peeing on anything until at least 15DPO according to FF.

Pug I hate baby bombs. Flowers Your chart looks lovely.

Sammy, I am with you. Everyone else in the world seems to be pregnant or have an adorable child already.

Mummy so sorry to hear about the shitty gossip.

DizzyMerry I hope you are okay.

Robot Happy Wedding anniversary for last week.

DizzyNorth so pleased to see you posting again. Please stick around!

Queen sorry for BFN. Flowers

Our holiday was much needed. We walked, talked, rested, ate well and cuddled lots of cute fluffy animals. We dreamt about being parents when AF was three days late, and then, when AF arrived, we discussed what happens if we cannot naturally conceive a child.

Part of me wondered whether it was a chemical pregnancy, or whether we were just making things up. We went through a similar thing of thinking we were seeing an extremely faintline and being late at Christmas but we put it down to just being hopeful and not actually seeing a line.

DH has his SA on Friday and he is nervous. We went had a heart felt discussion about not assigning blame if anything is wrong with either if us. We are both in the same place emotionally and it feels great to know there are no elephants in the room. With hindsight, it's easy to say that we should have started TTCing earlier but we made the right choices for the right reasons when he had to make them.

We are going to be parents one day, and that is a beautiful thought. We just wish it would happen in reality sooner!

Stats:

Pixa, TTC 1, Cycle 11, BFP due 27th June (although I refuse to test until 15DPO)###

HopesUpKnickersDown · 07/06/2015 08:59

Morning bums! Sorry for your loss honey but welcome to the bus ??

Robot where is this said pregnancy chair you speak of?...there is nothing more reliable than a pregnancy chair...your BFP is definitely imminent!

loopylou1984 · 07/06/2015 09:00

Yes CD8 here, boring!!
Will start opks on Tuesday (cd10) - having not bothered with EPO this cycle I expect ov to be about CD15... We'll see!

Welcome Honey Smile

Queen - sorry for the bfn lovely, Xx

Mummyofonesofar · 07/06/2015 09:04

Welcome honey you'll like it here. Sorry about your mmc. I am considering telling people Tuesday at work if they ask.

queen sorry for bfn.

DizzyM are you local too?

mega I hope they got the hint and won't ask again Flowers

loopylou1984 · 07/06/2015 09:04

Pixa - glad you've had that discussion with your dh... I feel totally to blame every cycle and dh always tells me we're in this together. It does help a bit.

I'm also with you and Eskimo on needing something to mother... We're getting a puppy in 11 weeks time! Although it's coming from family so we'll bring it home for weekends before then! Xx

megarobotdiscoparty · 07/06/2015 09:08

Flowers for queen and pixa joining us reprobates at the back of the bus. This will be our cycle, I can feel it!

pixa talks with DH sound really productive and reassuring. You certainly shouldn't feel bad about ttc sooner and you WILL get your baby. Hope you enjoyed the hot tub and some wine!

Pixa · 07/06/2015 09:10

Sammy, we cannot blame ourselves for things we are not in control of. You're both working so hard to achieve the same goal. You are so definitely not to blame! Flowers We all have those thoughts, I am sure of it, but we can't let them linger. We need to stay positive. Flowers

Envious of your lovely new puppy. You will have to show us some pictures when it's time. Smile

megarobotdiscoparty · 07/06/2015 09:10

knickers it's an old haunted pub in Nottingham... if when it works for me I'll book you all on the next train over!

megarobotdiscoparty · 07/06/2015 09:11
