Oh knickersin sorry for the 9 day lp. Have you spoken to yiur go about it? Did you say you've tried vit b? Want to join me for a Wine?

HopesUpKnickersDown · 05/06/2015 20:46

Yes please Boris, I think a gin is definitely a good idea Wine, bottoms up.

When I saw GP back in January about having my implant removed I told him I was concerned about pcos (when trying for DC1 I'd had blood tests which indicated pcos but I conceived before I had the scan). He basically said not to expect any help if there was a problem as I already have two DC's. I do get that, the NHS is stretched enough without greedy baby hoggers like me added to it when there are people desperate for help to get their first baby.

I'm happy to try any home remedies though, I've read different bits on MN about vit b and cactus something...anyone know what the crack is?

Hairstylisttoboris · 05/06/2015 20:59

There are a few threads about is it Agnus c? Some people have had sucess with it but in not sure how it works. Vit b works but please don't take heafty doses in the long term. You probably need progesterone checking? I'd go back to your gp and push, you are not asking for ivf; probably just a simple blood test and some suppositories. If you don't ask, you don't get :)
In the mean time gin is Always the answer.

chopsface · 05/06/2015 20:59

rainy hope your dh's results aren't too bad. This time last year we were in the same position. GP telling us how bad dh's spermies were, but look at us now! Fingers crossed you can boost him up with vitamins like I did with my man!

Rainy34 · 05/06/2015 21:21

Thanks Chopface that is really reassuring, he has started to do more exercise and eat healthier but its only in the last few weeks so I'm hoping its still to make a impact, he is not taking his vitamins,he keeps forgetting to take them i think he will be in for a shock when we go to the doctors as we are lucky if we do it twice in the fertile week, iv told him we should be doing it every second day,

HopesUpKnickersDown · 05/06/2015 21:26

Thanks Boris, having a google whilst I indulge in a gin Smile

loopylou1984 · 05/06/2015 22:02

Everyone in the whole world is pregnant except me HmmHmmHmm

Reluctantnympho · 05/06/2015 22:04

Sorry for af knickers my gp thinks I'm a greedy baby hogger too! And said no to even blood tests. But I'm going to push the family thoiroid issue and see if that gets me any further. As I have said before I don't expect treatment, I just want to know if I am flogging a dead horse!

And us Sammy!

At the school today a gossip Mum asked my neighbour if I was pregnant. She answered with "I don't think so, no" (she is my friend and knows about my mmc). And told me about it so I knew people were gossiping. It's like a knife in my chest. I feel like crying out to everyone "I was, until my baby stopped growing!" Stupid gossiping idiot.

HopesUpKnickersDown · 05/06/2015 22:16

Sammy I'm sorry you're feeling that way but you're not alone, it will be your turn soon or later. Where's Boris with that bottle of gin?

Nympho I totally hear you! Hope your gp agrees to the bloods...go in fighting!

loopylou1984 · 05/06/2015 22:23

I'm ok really, just baby bombs on fbook and having to see pg sil tomorrow.

I've decided the good part of CD 1-10 is no sore boobs - silver linings and all! Xx

HopesUpKnickersDown · 05/06/2015 22:24

Mummy sorry about your mmc ?? Gossiping school mums are the feckin pits!

loopylou1984 · 05/06/2015 22:28

Mummy - why do people think it's ok to discuss others private lives?! Hope you're okay, Xx

Mummyofonesofar · 05/06/2015 23:19

I hate them all. Does it make me a bad snobby Mummy to be so happy that normally I pick him up at the end of after sch club with the other working parents who also have no time for friends and don't have to wait around with the rest of the Mums in their stupid cliques feeling about 8 again!!!

Mummyofonesofar · 05/06/2015 23:21

Also we live in a small village so if one mum thinks it then it is probably because there is a rumour and everyone knows about Sad

megarobotdiscoparty · 05/06/2015 23:52

mummy I'm sorry Sad coincidentally I've had exactly the same at DS nursery until I bit someone's head off about it last week and they've all shut up. I know it's coz I was picking him up looking rough as arse a few weeks ago and they thought it was morning sickness and not me being in the process of a MC. I hope you don't have to deal with those people again soon and that you have lovely things to look forward to this weekend Flowers We will get through this!

Mummyofonesofar · 05/06/2015 23:58

I think that's what it was, I had a "I don't give a shit" day. Normally I stick my make up on, do my hair and wear a nice dress. I looked like shit and picked him up feeling miserable and looking like the arse end of a cow so maybe she thought it was morning sickness in the afternoon. Sorry you had it too Mega, did you tell them you had a mc or just have a go for gossiping? We will absolutely get through this x

Hairstylisttoboris · 06/06/2015 08:04

mummysorry you had that aweful gossip experience. I've been asked a bit if I'm pregnant yet but it's lss of a stab through my heart as I've not suffered loss.

10 dpo here, bfn on an ic. Sigh.

loopylou1984 · 06/06/2015 08:14

Boris - twearly! X

HopesUpKnickersDown · 06/06/2015 09:00

Sorry for bfn Boris but agree with Sammy tis twerly!

The tears of yesterday have dried and I'm all geared up for cycle 4! Off to get myself some vitamin B6 which IS going to extend my LP and get me my baby, fact!

Mummyofonesofar · 06/06/2015 10:14

Sorry for bfn Boris and yes it's twerly! No hint of a positive on today's opk. Cd13 here. Normal ov day is tomorrow so guess that isn't happening yet!

ThePug · 06/06/2015 10:23

Morning all Smile

Knickers sorry you're out but good luck with the vits for next cycle - here's hoping they help

Mummy & mega Ugh, I think I would have probably screamed at those people and told them what had happened just so they felt ashamed of their horrible gossiping. I hope neither of you have to deal with it again.

nympho How expensive would it be to get the blood tests privately if your Dr won't give you them? If it's only a basic one-off test you want (rather than a course of treatment) maybe it wouldn't be much?

Rainy Why do these phonecalls always happen right before a weekend? I hope you and DH can enjoy the weekend together and not spend it worrying over what Monday might bring. Hopefully it will be something you can tackle with a bit of treatment or supplementing like Mrchops did.

Boris Been uncharacteristically nice to anyone else yet? Any more strange behaviour we need to chalk up to a symptom? Grin 10DPO is probably too early so don't count yourself out yet.

eskmio ! I haven't been on to update since I saw your clomid news. This is brilliant and exactly what you needed. SO pleased for you. Now we will all be on Eskimo Ovulation Watch.

Queen Have you poas today? Thinking of you. Hope shopping is fun - you'll have to show us your new dress later!

Nomio Hope the house hunting is successful and you have a lovely picnic. Fingers crossed you find the perfect house for you. Good news is FF put me back to being your cycle-buddy a couple of days ago so I am now 11DPO again and temp shot up this morning to highest it has been and slightly higher than the day I got my BFP in previous cycle Hmm I'll post my chart from my phone in a sec...

Remember how I was complaining that DH didn't buy me a birthday present? Well I got home yesterday and he produced one! He exclaimed that he had thought of something that would be useful and I would like.... two vibrators and an adult game Shock Apparently this is to aid TTC and make it easier/more enjoyable all round Grin

ThePug · 06/06/2015 10:25

Mummy Are you counting CD1 as the day you mc? Hopefully you will ov soon but don't worry if it takes a while; I didn't ov until CD30 (was 17/18 previously)!

ThePug · 06/06/2015 10:27

Chart which has started looking a bit good Confused

Bumsnet- you would be amazed at where we stick our thermometers to help us get our BFP's
Mummyofonesofar · 06/06/2015 11:42

Pug yes day of mc as cd1, I know it was far too hopeful to want to ov on the same day as usual. Will try to stop peeing on so many opks! Shock toys and a game! You'll be having lots of fun then. You may have to change your name to obligingnympho haha.
