A lurcher, I'm so excited! Xx

nightandthelight · 07/06/2015 09:26

Eek Sammy so exciting! Please post a photo when you get her/him :)

megarobotdiscoparty · 07/06/2015 09:27

Amazing sammy! My SIL has a lurcher and he's gorgeous. Such good natured, beautiful dogs. Excited for you!

HopesUpKnickersDown · 07/06/2015 09:46

Thanks for the welcome Pixa, glad you had a lovely holiday.

Queen sorry for BFN, hope you're not left in limbo for long and BFP or AF arrive soon.

Thanks Robot, we used to have a pregnancy chair in our office, it was definitely the real deal and produced an abundance of babies but was sadly lost to a refurb ??

Did someone say PUPPY? ???? Congratulations Sammy!

Mummyofonesofar · 07/06/2015 10:25

sammy a puppy!! How lovely Grin

pixa crossed posts there - so glad you had a good holiday even with the arrival of AF. And the conversations sound fantastic, it is so great to have those topics out in the open.

On me news, me and dp had a huge argument last night. I did that stupid woman thing and asked hypothetical questions. "If we had the money, would you marry me tomorrow?" And he said "no, I would want to make sure we were right first, why do you always have to go at 100mph". Shock why have we been ttc if he isn't ready to commit his life to me?!? He backtracked and said he meant after our mmc he wants to make sure we are both healed before taking another big step like marriage. Just made me so mad and cried in the bathroom for about half an hour and locked away all of our ttc stuff and threw my thermometer across the room which will now never work again. He has been very sorry all morning but I can't help wonder if ttc was all my idea and he has just been railroaded along wen really he is bricking it. He has begged me to unpack all the ttc things and promised he wants nothing more than to create a tiny person with me. I can't help but feel he isn't ready and the mmc was all for nothing. Also wondering if that's why I had a mc, because he isn't ready yet... Sad

ThePug · 07/06/2015 10:51

Oh mummy I'm not surprised you were so upset but I do think your DP probably feels just as bad now. I'm sure what he really thought was 'aghh, a wedding, so much planning & attention & spending... think of something to say' and unfortunately he came out with what he did. I hope you can talk it through today and make up. And buy yourself a new thermometer!

sammy Puppy, yay!

Pixa your break sounds like it was wonderful and will have brought you and DH even closer together. How does DH's SA appt fit with your fertile days? Will you be able to do both this month?

Queen BFN sucks. How many days late are you now?

mega How long does one spend in the pregnancy chair? And do all the regulars point and laugh?

Welcome honey Recognise you from the TTC after mc thread too but don't get round to posting there much.

DizzyM One missed temp won't matter much to your chart (unless it was the day you were expecting ov to be confirmed..) Hope you enjoyed your lie in!

Fig Lots of people on this thread have taken time out at one point or another for the reasons you said. I hope you have had a lovely time focusing on your family.

I did an IC this morning (at 12dpo) - bfn. I'm actually not too sad as I'm still hoping it is too early for those tests. My temp did drop this morning too, but nowhere near the coverline. Might take one test strip away with me and test on Wednesday morning if no AF by then.

loopylou1984 · 07/06/2015 11:08

Thanks girls, I am excited about the puppy, and it's giving me something to focus on other than ttc!

Mummy - so sorry to hear about your argument, but agree with Pug that he probably didn't mean it like it sounded. I hope you guys work it out today, let him grovel for a bit but remember he probably feels awful already. Your MC was definitely not because of anything you or your dh did or didn't do. Just one of those sad, terrible things that happen sometimes. Sending hugs, Xx

Mummyofonesofar · 07/06/2015 12:27

Thanks girls for letting me vent. He has been out to the shops for some bits and came back with ice cream and my razor that he forgot to buy me last week and the men's conception vits that he was running low on. I guess he does feel bad, going to let him grovel a while longer though.

ThePug · 07/06/2015 14:31

I'm sad how quiet this thread is Sad It feels like nearly everyone has got their BFPs and now there are only a few of us left here with only so much to say

ibeka · 07/06/2015 14:36

Hello, everyone waves

Honey hi there. You'll find a few of us who span TTC after MC and this thread. Nice to have you over here Smile

sammy a puppy! How lovely! I'd LOVE a dog.... I've recently been googling "dog breeds that don't mind being left alone" and decided we have to get a St Bernard... DP is going to take some convincing though!!!

pixa your holiday soiunds lovely. I hope it's left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Your was-it-wasnt it a line debates sound familiar. I wasn't sure if I was using broken tests or what last month but have decided that I couldn't have peed on 4 faulty sticks (from different batches).

pug and boris you twerly pee-ers! FX for you both.

Queen sorry for BFN but as others have said, you aint out til the red lady sings....

mummy sorry for insensitive women and then DP's silly comment. Glad to see it seems to have resolved itself Smile

rainy so sorry about that phone call. I hope you get more information soon...

CD16 here and I should be OVing but only had a positive OPK this morning so seems I'm to quite there yet....sigh... all that shagging gone to waste. I found out on Thurs that SIL is pregnant. Already had a good moan over on the MC thread so won't repeat myself but I've been in a very black place the last couple of days. The only positive is that I properly broke down and let all my feelings rip to DP and he was so understanding and kind... I feel he 'gets' me a little bit more.

eskimoflo · 07/06/2015 15:16

Pug I'm so sorry I'm quiet Sad I read every day and all the time. I just feel like I have nothing to say...

I can't POAS, I can't update on AF, I can't get excited about smiley faces. I'm not really a whole bundle of laughs at the moment.

I am thinking of everyone and keeping updated on your progress.

I miss the people who got BFPs too Sad Just feeling quite down ATM. Flowers

ThePug · 07/06/2015 15:47

ibeka I've just read your posts on the TTCaMC thread and I'm so sorry you've had such a horrible few days. I understand what a blow it must've been and that it isn't going to get any better over the next 9 months. I am glad it has allowed you to share your feelings more effectively with DP though and I hope he will support you through this, and help steer you away from any unnecessary heartache or questioning when seeing his family. Great news that you've had a positive OPK now though, just a few more days shagging and you can have a breather!

eskimo I didn't mean I was having a go at anyone for not posting, merely observing that there didn't seem to be many of us originals left here. You have your drugs now though and they are going to kickstart your ovaries and get you your BFP. Have you started your induced bleed yet? When do you take the first clomid tablets? If nothing else, please post about your beautiful dogs (I love the pics on Fb from your camping trip - can't believe they are so well behaved they're allowed in the pub/restaurant. We could never do that, and ours is about 1/4 their size!)

I keep checking the ic from earlier in case a line magically appears - no such luck. I also just checked my cp when I went to the loo and had a small amount of light pink cm on my fingers; I've never seen anything like it before, but then again I never used to go delving around in my vagina! It was like a tiny bit of pale pink cream strawberry yoghurt... not sure if that means AF is on her way or that something is implanting (at 12dpo sounds a bit late?)

DizzyMerry · 07/06/2015 17:02

I'm kind of in a similar position eskimo. Nothing to say re ttc. Don't think I've ov so waiting for AF and also feeling fed up so don't want to bring others down.

Ibeka it's good to let all your feelings out and I hope it's made you feel a bit better. It's a horrid journey to go through. Let's hope it's nearing it's end Flowers

Pug fx it is implantation. Late implantation is possible.

The last few days of a cycle are utterly miserable and I'm always scared to death of coming on. Happens every time no matter how much I tell myself this isn't my month.

Pikz · 07/06/2015 17:09

Pug I too am still here. I struggle to keep up and feel bad if I don't post commenting on everyone but I am reading.

Had consultant on Saturday. Had a scan and he said everything looks good after all the surgery. I am ovulating so I just have to give it time as I've been through lots of tramua on my body. He reckons it should happen in the next 6 months. I'm just unlucky Hmm

megarobotdiscoparty · 07/06/2015 18:27

ibeka I just read your post on the MC thread... I'm so sorry. There are no words. I really hope you find strategies to get through the coming months (I pray she gets cursed with terrible morning sickness and looks a mess!). In the meantime you WILL get your baby and it will be a bajillion (official stats) times better than yours because you are not a dick.

Flowers
megarobotdiscoparty · 07/06/2015 18:37

Pikz this is great news! I know it's hard to have the energy to be posi after a long slog ttc so I'll bounce for you.

pug I managed about 30 seconds before I could no longer handle the mortification. My dad was amazed that I didn't want him to announce to the room what I was doing and why.... Sorry for your BFN but deffo way too early for an IC.

knickers I'm shaking my fist at whoever got rid of your magic chair! Express delivery to Bumsnet Towers much needed.

mummy hope you and DH are cuddled up and making up right now.

Hi to everyone else! Gearing up for a week of blank peesticks here - will need some serious flag waving/cheering to get through it! What cd does everyone else start using OPKS?

megarobotdiscoparty · 07/06/2015 18:57

Sorry...obvs meant your baby will be better than hers ibeka (brain dead...is it really Monday again tomorrow? Sigh)

loopylou1984 · 07/06/2015 19:23

I have no ttc news either... Boring old cd8 here of cycle 19... Or was it 20? I just don't bother chatting about symptoms etc for myself as I'm so sure there won't be a happy outcome after all this time.
Need to log on to PC to catch up with you all... Xx

purdiepie · 07/06/2015 20:25

Don't give up, sweethearts. Keep believing. Keep having sex or AI-ing. I went through 29 cycles of tedious and relentless dashed hopes until I conceived this time. You won't have to wait that long, you ladies, you really won't. You are in your thirties with both tubes in tact (Pikz, you are young and will get pregnant in the next five months, I'm sure of it). Make sure sperm is in situ every other day right until you see the rise in temperatures has been sustained. You don't need to have sex every day. Take the supps and go fucking Rambo on the ass of any partner who keeps forgetting his.

I love you all and miss you like crazy Thanks

frogbubbles · 07/06/2015 20:51

Hey lovelies, sorry for the lack of posting. I've been really busy with family, college and stuff. Hope everyone is ok. I completely missed the last bus (apart from a few random posts) if I have missed big news sorry. I have been trying to keep up via fb.

Boris, nympo and knickers I'm with you on the gin front, I'm rather partial to Hendricks at the min, but will happily guzzle any!!

Eskimo, my friend has ex racers and one of hers just can't do stairs. Thank goodness and hurrah for the climid. I'm so pleased for you Smile

Rainy I have my fx that DH as comes back ok for you my lovey

Nomino you aren't alone in POAS addition. The madness will start in about a week or so in the frog house!! Good news on the LP front.

Nymph glad to hear your dad has such a loving, caring and supportive family round him. I hope things are as well as they can be for you lovely one

Twinkle sending hugs to you lovely

Right off to wallow in my 12 g&ts WineWineWinehangover. Eat peanut m&ms and watch crap.

Reluctantnympho · 07/06/2015 21:46

Survived today's baby shower today by wearing sunglasses and slurping on wine! (Now I have a headache, not sure if it's stress or wine induced)

Today was supposed to be my first day of temping, but I forgot Shock must do better tomorrow!

Thanks for thinking of me frog

Hi guys, sorry for being quiet. I've been lurking for the past week or so as no wifi in the cottage.
Take care xx

Sparkly123 · 07/06/2015 23:07

Hi lovely ladies! I've been meaning to post for couple days now. I need to properly read back catch up on how you all are, will try to tomorrow. I thought I would be posting more this week but it's not been a good one. Anyhow! I hope everyone is keeping strong and positive, sending some sparkly vibes to you all and will catch up properly tomorrow. Keep the faith girls. Rooting for you ... Every last one of you FlowersFlowersStarStarFlowersFlowers

DizzyMerry · 07/06/2015 23:21

Lovely to see you sparkly. Sorry you've not had a good week and hope things start to get better again. Is it due to preg or your existing health issues? Your positivity is needed on here as you kept us all in good, high spirits. I miss the banter on here and all the grads Sad though I'm happy for everyone's bfp's and hope there's more to come.

BabyBumpHopeful · 08/06/2015 04:17

CD17/32-34 of cycle 5 today. It's weird writing cycle 5, it's a "small" sounding number until you think that it's actually 5 months, almost half a year of trying. At some point in one of the threads someone posted that really there's only a 2-3 day window per cycle, so in the last 5 cycles I've only had 12-15 days of actually having a chance. And each of these cycles there is only a 20% chance. On the one hand it's kinda of sad, on the other it's kind of comforting... like it's less of a failure or something.

Anywho! I should go to bed now, try and remember to temp in the morning and do OPK's when I get back from work (after not using the restroom since noon/1-ish.

Baby dust to us all!
