Ah Sammy, how lovely. You're going to have lots of fun with a new puppySmile

Pikz, hope the unusual chart is a good sign for you.

Boris, how is the bleeding, has it stopped?

My teenage students have taken my spot on the sofa tonight and are watching Harry Potter......They've already watched Jurassic Park. Think i'll tape it from 9 and they can watch the end another day!

Pixa · 20/06/2015 22:14

Spinning How are you? Sorry if I have missed it, but how many students do you have with you? Smile

spinningirl10 · 20/06/2015 22:37

Pixa I'm good thanks. About 4dpo, very boring!
I have 2 french boys, they're 12 and 14. They're here for another week. From the beginning of July we'll have 6 students until the end of August! It's going to be a mad house but they should keep each other entertained Grin
Has your dh got a new date for his SA? How are you?

Reluctantnympho · 20/06/2015 23:02

Spinning we are cycle buddies Smile

Pikz · 21/06/2015 06:54

And on to cycle 19 Hmm

loopylou1984 · 21/06/2015 07:11

Pikz, sorry lovely. Xx

I'm so annoyed, I woke up an hour and a half before my usual temping time so now it's unreliable! Grrr.

loopylou1984 · 21/06/2015 07:12

And yes Spinning - the puppy is proving a nice distraction! Xx

Pixa · 21/06/2015 07:43

Spinning it sounds like you'll have a good houseful! Fantastic! Wishing you and Nympho a quick & successful TWW. I feel quite guilty for not popping on here as much as I should have recently, but we have been so busy. DH has been so down following the SA mix-up, he also decided to give up caffeine so he has been extra grumpy! It has been rearranged for Thursday so not too long of a wait. I think you asked me about languages before? I always try to learn the basics if I am going away to another country, but don't speak any language fully or fluently. What do you speak?

Pikz So sorry. Flowers

Sammy How are you? Have you thought of any puppy names? When does puppy come home? Sorry if I have missed all this. I recommend going and signing up to Pets at Home, eventually after a few weeks, they'll send you a 10% of voucher, which comes in handy when doing a big shop. I agree though, new puppy, lots of distraction, ours comes home on the 30th! Smile

How is everyone else? I am really really sorry for only jumping on in bits, we have been busy and I've been given DH my attention, he's been so unhappy with the SA.

Stats

Pixa, 24, TTC #1, Cycle 11, BFP due 27th June###

spinningirl10 · 21/06/2015 07:44

Reluctant, yay for cycle buddy, fx its our month Smile

Pikz, I'm sorry, that sucks Thanks hope you have something nice planned for today.

Sammy, I wouldn't worry too much, if you'd had un disturbed sleep before you woke it won't be too far out. How's it looking today?

loopylou1984 · 21/06/2015 08:19

Pixa - other than the £10 voucher what does signing up to pets at home get you? We have a few names, but waiting to see little personalities (and exact colours as they keep changing) before picking one. Visiting again this afternoon!

Spinning - well the temp is still up... And I guess if taking it earlier had had an effect it would be lower than it would have been? Chart attached if you want to see. Am still only 7dpo though so it doesn't mean anything

Bumsnet- you would be amazed at where we stick our thermometers to help us get our BFP's
Pixa · 21/06/2015 08:22

Sammy 10% discount at first, free magazine (usually £2.50 to non-members), vouchers and discounts through the post but... A really lovely part, is that you collect loyalty points which then means money is donated to animal charities. I will look back to see if I can find a photo. I'm with you, personality is key, we considered the name Fudge for ours, then we met her and she's definitely not a Fudge! She's a crazy little thing!

Chart is looking good Sammy. Will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Pixa · 21/06/2015 08:23

Oh! Enjoy visiting! Grin

Hairstylisttoboris · 21/06/2015 08:45

pikz I'm so sorry Flowers

pixa sorry that your DH is down. Have you got him on all the vits?

my name changing friend beginning with A so sorry things are crap for you. Hope life gets easier.

I've stopped bleeding so much, just blood in my copious cm now. Still confused. Googling lots of answers bone of which are helpful.

Pixa · 21/06/2015 08:50

Boris So sorry to hear that. [Flowers] You poor thing, what's happened? How long has it been going on? Sorry that I have missed it.

Thank you, he has started to perk up now we're focusing on the pup, and we have a busy week ahead so it should keep him distracted but fully expecting Wednesday to Friday to be rubbish - DH chose to be on Wellman, L'Arginine, Co-enzyme 10 & Vitamin C. Hopefully a good concoction!

Pixa · 21/06/2015 08:52

Flowers fail! Boris Flowers Flowers Flowers

spinningirl10 · 21/06/2015 12:25

Ooh Pixa, you're getting a puppy as well?! How exciting, I must have missed that, I'm not on here so much. What are you getting?
Sorry dh is down, Thursday will soon be here and they can't screw up the results a second time!
I don't speak anything else, I did french at school so I know the basics. I'll be quite happy if I can master spanish Smile

Sammy, yes I would think taking your temp later would make it higher if anything. I'll have to hop onto the site to look at your chart. I'm on the app.

Boris, sorry to hear there's still some blood. I would phone the doc tomorrow if it's still not stopped.

Pixa · 21/06/2015 12:44

Spinning they'll have a lot to answer for if they do mess it up a second time! We are, she is a crossbreed between a Cavalier King Charles and a Toy Poodle. She's sweet, and I am excited but slightly nervous! I love languages and wish you the best of luck with it - it always helps if you can learn from a few people who speak Spanish as their first language. Smile How has your weekend been?

ThePug · 21/06/2015 13:18

Pixa You're absolutely doing the right thing giving DH your attention rather than us! I hope you can keep him as relaxed as possible until Thursday and that they will turn round the results for you asap - you definitely deserve to skip the processing queue. Have you or DH had dogs in the family before? Are you taking time off work to get her settled in? And most importantly, do you have any pictures?! Did you choose that cross for a particular reason? The ones I've seen look very cute and teddybear like! Make sure you're not taken in by her cuteness and sign her up to some proper training classes speaks from experience, paying for it now

spinning Have you picked up any Spanish from the few weeks you've been over there already? Are the students you're having all going to be French or might any helpfully be Spanish? That would help and i'm sure they'd be pleased to try and teach you some Spanish Smile

Boris What is Google telling you? I know it can and often is a minefield but my medical records relating to my type 1 diabetes say 'diagnosed herself on internet' !

sammy Chart is looking good so far. I wouldn't worry about this morning's temp being early, it doesn't seem to have altered it much looking at the trend. I forgot to take mine yesterday but was still asleep at 9.30 anyway and this morning my dad had to go leave early to drive home and give someone a lift to the airport so I took it at 6.45 which was not helpful.

I seem to have gone straight from sticky to wet cm without the normal week long creamy part which is odd. Will be peeing on an opk later this afternoon -oooh the excitement! It is also CoC day regardless so will have to fit that in sometime this afternoon Grin

Planning on getting the suitcase out and starting to organise packing for holiday. So far we have only booked one 20kg checked in case between the two of us for a 13 day holiday so going to have to limit myself Sad The forecast is saying 34 degrees average for first week and 29 for second week though so will just pack a load of bikinis, dresses and vests/shorts so can't see them weighing too much. Shoes is always my downfall though. In my mind I already can't see me packing less than 6 pairs at the very least.

Nomio230 · 21/06/2015 14:15

Pug, I am super jealous of your holiday. I hope you manage to fit lots of CoC in in between sunbathing & enjoying cocktails!

Boris, how is the bleeding? It sounds very strange. One month when i was especially stressed I had a tiny amount of blood, but nothing like you described. I hope you are ok today. X

CD11 for me, so gearing up for CoC. Not sure how well it will go this month, DH is stressed about the house & I am revising every minute of the day. He might have to stick it in while I read!

Pixa · 21/06/2015 14:19

Thanks ThePug, I just try and keep him distracted by asking him puppy based questions. We wanted a small-ish good, trainable, family dog. Not a watch dog, but almost like a companion. We did originally think a Cavalier King Charles was good, but after speaking to lots of dog owners, we decided that a purebred dog wasn't for us. Training classes are on my to do list this week! I have a picture, she is the red on white one, no name for her yet. We have had dogs as children, but none as an adult which is why the classes are so key! We were really happy with the breeder; she clearly loves her dogs and has been doing it for 40+ years, and learnt how to microchip too. Very lovely lady with lots of skill.

Where are you going on holiday? Why six pairs of shoes?! Forecast sounds lovely, I am envious. Need a really lovely summer this year! 20kg is loads. Yay for CoC!

Bumsnet- you would be amazed at where we stick our thermometers to help us get our BFP's
ThePug · 21/06/2015 14:33

Nomio Pahahahaa at sticking it in while you read. I actually said the same to DH on Friday night when I couldn't be bothered and just wanted to read my book peacefully in bed! When are you due to exchange/complete?

Pixa she is adorable! Sounds like you've done your research and she'll be the perfect pooch for you.

Off to Sardinia next weekend. Different shoes for different activities! 1 x flip flops, 1 or 2 pairs of heels for dinners out, 1 x walking shoes to encourage me to not just sit on my bum the whole time and a couple of different colours of daytime flats.

Cervix has gone right up so I couldn't even reach it which is a good pre-ov sign - yay!

Nomio230 · 21/06/2015 16:14

I love the romance of TTC, Pug! Hurrah for your high cervix!

Pixa, I am in love with your puppy. She is absolutely gorgeous!

No news on completion date yet, Pug. There is quite a long forward chain, so I guess it will depend on how long they all take. The survey is being done this week though, so things are moving along. Smile

Hairstylisttoboris · 21/06/2015 16:21

pixa That picture is so cute. As to your question, I don't know! I was due to ovulate yesterday but had heavy bleeding. No cervix bashing sex to cause it. I went for a run but it wasn't spectacularly active enough to bring on an early period. And I've not been stressed or destressed, on the contrary been really happy recently.

thepug the nhs website suggests problems with the pill (which it can't be) or a cervix issue, or a std or cancer. I'm stepping away from Google now as its scary.

nomio I still bave brown/red cm and lots of it.

Deep sigh, just when I had a month of dtd all working to plan...
