Quick catch up before I shoot off!

Rainy stats updated for you, sorry for AF x

Knickers I hope DD is feeling brighter this morning!

frog having appointments run over that much seems to be the norm these days! I can’t believe you squeezed your wee back in to poas! But to be fair I did that last week with opks when I forgot to test and had to grab my pee pot. I hope the nausea is a symptom Grin

mega It is a baby deadline extension! What do you teach in antenatal fitness – when we are all fat and pregnant you can link us all by video and get us ready for birth Grin

nympho stupid bump rubbing with your friend Sad you’ll have one soon lovely!

Hairstylisttoboris · 18/06/2015 10:36

mummywish I knew more about charting, you certainly had a big temp hike there.

ibeka still keeping everything crossed.

cD 10 here. 3 more days of coc. Managed a quicky just as we were about to go to work. Sometimes ttc can be fun :)

Nomio230 · 18/06/2015 12:16

Mummy, your chart is confusing me! I am not great at charting, but it looks to me as if you OVd yesterday.

Boris, I am really pleased you are enjoying TTC again & that you * DH seem to be getting on better. Maybe this will be your month!

Frog, how is the sickness today?

megarobotdiscoparty · 18/06/2015 13:09

cd20 here. suddenly lots of ewcm! Still not a positive opk but had my darkest line yet last night. Annoyingly did another test this morning and left the house without checking it Angry.

Trying not to get too giddy about testing later. At this stage a BFP is the last thing on my mind - the merest sign of ovulation will be amazing!

Thanks for the pube education mummy! I have no idea what your chart means, but keeping everything crossed for you.

Yay for cheeky CoC boris!

Hairstylisttoboris · 18/06/2015 13:38

nomio the world is good again and we are both happy. Hoping this is our month!

Mummyofonesofar · 18/06/2015 17:28

Hope everyone has had a good day! I am starting to fear that I ov'd yesterday and our dtd was therefore rubbish. A few girls here ov 3 days after a positive opk. So probably a missed month. Remind me of this if I think I am a day or 2 late this month!

megarobotdiscoparty · 18/06/2015 18:33

When was the last time you dtd mummy? I am sure all is not lost, even if you did ov yesterday (which still might not be the case!)

Hairstylisttoboris · 18/06/2015 18:36

mummy my gp said that healthy sperm from youngish men when you have fertile cm can live for 5 days, even one study said 10 days. Please don't give up hope yet.

DizzyNorthernBird · 18/06/2015 18:40

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been around for a week, have been taking a bit of time out from mn as I was getting a bit obsessive about ttc and sometimes these threads make me even more obsessive! So I just wanted a week of not thinking about it really.

Attached is my shitty bollocks chart. So here was me, happily going about my business thinking I'd had an anovulatory cycle and eagerly waiting for AF......then I go and get friggin crosshairs two weeks late? Wtf?! So AF isn't due now until a week on Saturday. Bollocks bollocks bollocks.

On a positive note (ish) I did read something about eggs which are released after cd21 are poor quality and if fertilised are more likely to result in an mc. Just as well we hadn't shagged in ages then eh.

Hope you're all well, just wanted to pop my head in. Haven't had time to catch up.

Bumsnet- you would be amazed at where we stick our thermometers to help us get our BFP's
Mummyofonesofar · 18/06/2015 18:46

DizzyN the epu told me that there was no increased risk of mc during wtf cycle when you tend to ov late (like I have).

Boris & mega we dtd on Monday night at about midnight. So I guess if I ov'd Wednesday morning it could have been 30 hours which isn't too bad I guess. And we used preseed which should have given them a good start. Ok will try not to panic too much. I just know on bfp month we dtd twice on ov day and wonder if that did it!

DizzyNorthernBird · 18/06/2015 18:49

I hope you're right mummy because I tend to ov between cd18-21...!

How's things with you? Smile

DizzyNorthernBird · 18/06/2015 18:51

Oops sorry mummy was just scanning back and saw your chart, wasn't meaning to be rude or insensitive with my comment. Was just trying to throw a positive light on my own shitty cycle Blush

Mummyofonesofar · 18/06/2015 19:00

I think late ov is fine, just early ov they worry about, I didn't take offence at all! I am doing ok thanks lovely. Had an event at work today on safeguarding which had some difficult points to hear and I have been approached to write down my life "issues" so far to be used as a case study as it contains lots of safeguarding concerns & failings. Will be hard to write but if it helps others learn then I guess it is a positive thing! How are you?

ibeka · 18/06/2015 19:18

pikz I have neither temped nor pissed on any sticks today, so can provide no update.... Arrived in Germany this afternoon and have been with my host family since so feeling fairly zen about everything. However...yes, sammy I have piss sticks, pee-shot-glass and even a cb digi secreted in my bag!!!

Sorry you're feeling unhopeful, pikz and dizzy and mummy. I hope some of bozzas cheer rubs off on you. Xx

Nomio230 · 18/06/2015 19:23

Ibeka, you have truly impressive willpower! Hope you are having a nice time.

Mummy, don't give up hope. You might have ovulated when FF says you did, but even if it was later there should have still been a fair few sperm up there. FX for you.

megarobotdiscoparty · 18/06/2015 19:40

mummy your eggy will have an army of swimmers awaiting it. Fret ye not!

Have a great time in Germany ibeka - whereabouts are you staying?

Hope knickers and her dd are ok Flowers

You feeling ok for a bit of a rest from the ttc madness northern? Hope the days fly by til next weekend.

How's everyone else?

Mummyofonesofar · 18/06/2015 19:44

ibeka glad you're chilled out. Enjoy Germany!

Thanks Nomio & mega I can't change it now anyway. Must stay positive!!! I will just have to override ff ov prediction if my lp matches the later ov.

ThePug · 18/06/2015 20:09

Well done on packing the essentials ibeka Grin I hope the trip is busy in a good way so you don't even think about using them for the next few days though then get a nice and clear bfp after the weekend. Fx for you!

DizzyN I know what long charts like that are like - it just feels like you've been going on and on forever with nothing interesting happening. I can see why you didn't bother dtd when you had the fertile cm so late on, but now at least you will know for future cycles that it could be a sign of late ovulation so you can get back on it.

mummy You are such a lovely, caring person Smile I really think you'd be brilliant in some sort of public-facing career like midwifery. Don't worry too much about your chart and when you ov'ed. It really is a lottery in the wtf cycle.

Boris Great to hear you & DH are back in happyland. Enjoy the next three days!

mega What did your opk say when you got back to it? Have you done another one? Don't keep us waiting!

Rainy Flowers Hope AF buggers off soon

knickers How is your DD today? Hope you don't catch whatever she had.

Struggling to keep up at the moment as I'm insanely busy with work so don't have chance to pop on during the day to catch up, so sorry for missing some people's updates.

Nothing to report here. CD11 and counting down the days to ov and holiday

Rainy34 · 18/06/2015 20:22

Thanks everyone, feel really rubbish mood today, also was told by a another person in work today that she is pregnant , im really happy for her as she had a miscarriage a few months ago, but could not help feeling sad for myself, she told me that this time and when she had a miscarriage that they only tried the once, feel like such a faliure right now!!!

Mummyofonesofar · 18/06/2015 20:25

Pug what a lovely thing to say, thank you. I met a specialist teenage pregnancy midwife today and if I make it I would be very interested in that stream as I had DS at 16. Where are you off to again? Brain like a seive!

Mummyofonesofar · 18/06/2015 20:27

Cuddles for Rainy you are not a failure. Not one bit!! Some people are very lucky and fall pregnant and carry to full term very easily. Others take time and heartache. But in both instances you get a perfect baby at the end so the journey however short or long is very much worth it. Try to stay positive. You will get there x

megarobotdiscoparty · 18/06/2015 20:29

Pug sounds like you could well use a holiday after this week! Will hols potentially tie in with ov for some chilled out jiggy time? My opk was white as snow again - sigh! Anyone know why I might have had a dark line (not quite positive but v close this time) both last night and this morning if it wasn't impending ovulation? Tis most perplexing. Focusing on getting a swift AF so I can get excited about my next cycle of Clomid instead now!

Agreed mummy you would be fab!

megarobotdiscoparty · 18/06/2015 20:39

Not a failure rainy, not even a little bit. It takes a lot more grit and gumption to pick yourself up and keep going than to drop lucky easily.

HopesUpKnickersDown · 18/06/2015 20:43

Hi ladies,

Thanks for those who've asked, DD is still chesty but seems brighter today thankfully. We got to skip her swimming lesson with a clear conscience today so got home early for once which was lovely. Made me realise how much I miss working part time hours...need to get myself some maternity leave me thinks! Wink

Nomio well done on the relaxed approach this month, I'm going all out this month then having a chilled one next month...she says. Hope the revision is going well.

Pixa....Cavapoo!!!! That will be one gorgeous fluffy ttc distraction, I'm so excited for you!

Queen have a lovely break.

Ibeka god I admire your will power! Keeping fingers crossed for you and enjoy your trip to Germany.

Night so glad you decided to stay on this bus.

DizzyM bfp dream could definitely be a lucky omen!

Rainy sorry for AF and the baby bomb, keep your chin up and here's hoping next month is your month Thanks

Night homemade paneer and cauliflower curry sounds absolutely gorge, my mouth is watering. Weightwatchers ready meal for me tonight unfortunately. Frog you can't beat a cheeky KFC!

Robot I didn't know what angry pubes were either! Thanks for daring to ask. Hope you made the most of your naughty night while DH was out. Robot lots of ewcm you say...exciting! Have you done another test?

Nympho happy CoC season! Grin

Frog really hoping your symptoms are a bfp and not a bug....exciting times!

Pikz could that not be an implantation dip at 8dpo?

Mummy I'm sure you got plenty of long lasting spermz up there swimming around with their eyes on the prize! Don't panic.

Boris well done on the pre work quickie! Fingers crossed this is your month. We barely have time to brush our teeth in the mornings here due to being lazy bums who keep pressing the snooze button on the alarm.

DizzyN hope you're feeling better for having a break.

Pug I hope work calm downs for you soon...at cd11 you'll need some energy reserves for CoC. Where are you off to on holiday?

Cd13 here so action stations!!

Rainy34 · 18/06/2015 20:47

Thanks Ladies, just everyone around me at the moment is either giving birth of getting pregnant, il be ok in a few days, just never imagined how hard this would be!!
