On my tests it's only invalid if there's no control line. Isn't it bizarre how everyone's tests show so differently! I get 2 lines so rarely - even on the cycle I definitely ovulated on there wasn't anything doing til the 2 days before and then my definite positive.

So sorry for your friend robot. It's heartbreaking. With IC I used to get a dark line for one day only but it was blank before and after this. This happened for 2 months then last month I got faint lines in the evening for a few days but no line when I tested in the afternoon and the line didn't get darker! This month I'm getting faint lines in the afternoon and evening so hoping it gets darker. Hope you do ov soon but it's so confusing.

We've got a lovely weekend planned thanks, off to visit my best friend and her tiny baby in Manchester tomorrow, then back home for a birthday tea party for another friend. Sunday we're off to visit an even tinier baby - our two good friends have just had their second. Babies babies everywhere! How about you?

mega what a great weekend you have planned!! DP is working both days here, I have a pile of ironing to get through Saturday and housework coming out of my ears as it has been somewhat neglected in the last few weeks. But I have found a second hand sofa that DP is collecting tonight as our second hand sofa is really sunk in now and not very comfy. The new/old one is a leather corner sofa going cheap as it’s got some scratches - perfect for us us! The cost of new sofas make me feel sick.... Then Sunday when DP gets home I am cooking for the brood! First Fathers Day without FIL as he passed away in March so having MIL, SIL and niece over for roast lamb, wine (not for the kids), laughs and probably some tears.

Aw mummy I hope you have a great weekend with the family. So good to have everyone together to share memories at a difficult time. Hope your DH is ok and you have a good day together. Housework will be totally neglected here this weekend - no idea when it will get caught up with! Also - thumbs up for the leather corner sofa, good skills. We got ours 3 years ago for £200 and it's still going strong slightly cat scratched mind you. I will never have a non-corner sofa again!

We're going to a wedding reception tonight so just getting ready for that, but no other set plans for the weekend. Will see dad and fil at some point but they are both local so will just decide on Sunday! Xx

Knickers, our sofas were crazily expensive too, but are the comfiest things I have ever sat on, so worth it.
