Rainy, AF hormones mixed with the disappointment of the end of another cycle AND a baby bomb are a totally shitty combination but you are not a failure and your time will come. Thanks

Robot what were the timings of your opks today lovely?

Mummyofonesofar · 18/06/2015 20:49

Hopes great that DD is feeling brighter (also great you got to miss swimming - thorn in my side every Saturday night - I have no life!). You defiantly need some maternity leave!

Mummyofonesofar · 18/06/2015 20:50

Oops meant definitely!

rainy I feel the same lovely but your time will come x

DizzyMerry · 18/06/2015 20:56

Your are most definitely not a failure rainy. It takes some people a lot more time than others to get pregnant but it also makes you a stronger person because you allow yourself to feel down and then pick yourself up and move forward with positivity. It will be your turn soon lovely Flowers

Enjoy Germany ibeka.

Mummy even if you did ov yesterday you will have plenty of sperm in there ready to meet your egg. I have my fx for you and yes I agree you will make a fab midwife.

Hope your DD is better knickers.

Don't fret dizzyn you have a GP appointment soon to discuss ttc? I'm sure you'll get to the bottom of this and find out what your body's up to.

Boris I'm so pleased you and DH are getting on so well. Long may it continue and fx this is your month.

Cd9 here and I got a faint positive on an IC. Will test again now but hoping the line gets darker this month and I actually do ov.

Mummyofonesofar · 18/06/2015 21:11

DizzyM fx that you ov in a few days lovely.

Thanks to everyone being so lovely about my plan! Will have to wait a while to have the next DC before I can sign up as don't fancy studying and being pg but will get back to it.

HopesUpKnickersDown · 18/06/2015 21:25

DizzyM fx for ov.

Mummy the swimming pool we go to is hotter than the pits of hell on a winters day so needless to say I was not looking forward to it today...a lucky escape!

eskimoflo · 18/06/2015 21:30

Hi all,

Just popping on to say hello Grin and give Flowers to DizzyM and Rainy, and anyone else who is feeling down. Don't despair my lovelies. Flowers

Day 2 of the clomid (but I've only taken 1 tablet, as I took it late last night). So far so good. Nothing to report!

Waves to everyone Smile

megarobotdiscoparty · 18/06/2015 21:32

knickers tested last night 8:30 pm (dark line but quite as dark as the control) and again this morning at 8am (2nd wee as had been up since 6am - darker line very nearly positive but I am aware it's not the most reliable time to test). Tested again today at 6pm and blank white. I know the lines weren't an ov sign as A. I haven't had a positive test and B. Tests went blank again so quickly. Just a bit confused as to what it was! Aside from the cycle I got my BFP I've only ever experienced blank opks. Would be interested to hear others' experiences!

Nomio230 · 18/06/2015 21:44

Rainy, I think we have all felt that way at times, but you are absolutely not a failure. Some people get lucky & seem to get pregnant every time they have sex, whereas for most people it takes a bit longer.

Robot, I have heard you can get LH surges but then not ovulate.

I always used to get blank OPKs until I started on Clomid. At the time I thought IC OPKs just didn't work, but now I know it is because I wasn't actually ovulating!

HopesUpKnickersDown · 18/06/2015 22:07

Robot I wondering if you could have missed the height of the surge during the day but I would have thought you'd have still had a fading line at 6pm? I test with fmi as well as mid day and late afternoon when I'm expecting ov and the fmi test is always nearly positive on the day I get a opk, I normally get a + late afternoon..but then still have a faint line the next day. Do you temp? Due to lashings of ewcm I would definitely test again tomorrow!

HopesUpKnickersDown · 18/06/2015 22:18

Good luck with the clomid Eskimo Smile

megarobotdiscoparty · 18/06/2015 22:22

Thanks ladies - all very interesting indeed.

nomio I thought they were cheap rubbish too, or that I wasn't doing it right!

knickers I do none of these other things, maybe it's time...although I'm nervous of becoming too obsessed, I am dreadful for it. I too would have expected some sort of residual line so I don't think it's happened...at least not yet! Let's see what tomorrow's stick brings...

HopesUpKnickersDown · 18/06/2015 22:29

Good luck for tomorrow's test Robot, keep us posted.

Mummyofonesofar · 18/06/2015 22:41

Is it sad that I don't want to dtd, don't think it makes any real difference to chances when you're already 1dpo but think I should just so I get a "high" on FF rather than "good".....

Mummyofonesofar · 18/06/2015 22:43

I thought blank opks meant the test was invalid. You are always meant to have 2 lines. Just the surge is when the test line is as dark or darker than the control line.

Just changed my crosshairs in ff and put in dtd tonight to see if it made a difference. It stayed at "good" rather than high so not going to bother Grin

loopylou1984 · 18/06/2015 22:43

Evening ladies, no chance to catch up tonight, but as promised here is a puppy photo:

Bumsnet- you would be amazed at where we stick our thermometers to help us get our BFP's
HopesUpKnickersDown · 18/06/2015 22:49

Mummy it probably won't make any difference but I personally would dig deep and go for the 'high'...however taking into account sods law I'll probably get my bfp the first 'low' cycle I have Smile

HopesUpKnickersDown · 18/06/2015 22:51

Haha mummy, no if it didn't change it to high I definitely wouldn't bother Grin

HopesUpKnickersDown · 18/06/2015 22:54

Aww gorgeous Sammy ????

Mummyofonesofar · 19/06/2015 06:59

sammy T'nawww!!!!! Cute Grinm

knickers my thoughts exactly haha

megarobotdiscoparty · 19/06/2015 06:59

If that's true mummy then there is definitely hope for me! That's a hell of a lot of invalid tests I've done in that case though...

sammy eeeeeeee! How many weeks to go now?

Morning everyone....nearly the weekend...

loopylou1984 · 19/06/2015 07:03

Morning!

They're only 2 weeks old so at least 5 weeks before we can bring one home... But I think we're going to leave it until they're 12 weeks because we're limited with time off work. We're lucky though, as can visit lots!

I've had blank opks before too, usually when wee is quite dilute. Xx

Oysterbabe · 19/06/2015 07:05

I only every got 2 lines from CD11- CD17, most of the time I just got 1 outside of those times, I guess because the levels were too low to be detected.

Pikz · 19/06/2015 07:23

I don't always have 2 lines. Like oyster I only really have 2 lines for the week around ovulation.

Mega I sometimes get surges like that and real ov follows 5 days or so later

Very cute puppy sammy

Rainy I am sorry you feel down. It is hard.

Another temp drop this morning at 9dpo so I'm definitely out. Oh well saved this piss sticks for next cycle
